Adult Themed Content from Fox Finds New Home on Hulu

Adult Themed Content from Fox Finds New Home on Hulu. With the excitement surrounding Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, and the aquisition of Fox by Disney, many fans have been wondering about the fate of some of their favorite titles that are a bit too “adult” for the standard Disney Brand.

Titles such as Deadpool and Family Guy have been deemed too adult themed for the family friendly streaming service, Disney+, but will continue to stream on Hulu to be enjoyed by fans whenever and wherever streaming is available.

Though fans may be upset about the choice to leave R-rated content off Disney+, Disney has been forthcoming about their decision since the first announcements for the family-friendly streaming service. ‘Mighty Ducks’ Reboot In the Works as a New Disney+ Original Series

'Mighty Ducks' Reboot In the Works as a New Disney+ Original Series

‘Mighty Ducks’ Reboot In the Works as a New Disney+ Original Series. Previously reported by The Hollywood Reporter, The Mighty Ducks‘ was rumored to be getting a reboot from ABC Signature Studios. Though any future plans for television and film basically came to a screeching halt for most titles announced in 2018-early 2019, it became clear that the rumors about new content “coming soon” were based in a half truth.

Disney has kept a tight lip for years about their all new streaming service announced earlier this year, Disney+. So tight that it caused tons of confusion when projects seemed to get the green light one day, then “cancelled” seemingly out of no where. Turns out most of the content, including the rumors about a Mighty Ducks reboot, have proven to be true, but will find a new home on Disney+.

'Mighty Ducks' Reboot In the Works as a New Disney+ Original Series

The Mighty Ducks series has not only been given the green light, but will premiere on Disney’s exclusive streaming service, Disney+ within the next few years. No official stream date has been given, but DiscussingFilm was the first to share the premise of the series in an exclusive report.

According to the report by DiscussingFilm, “The series focuses on a 13-year-old boy when he gets kicked off the junior division Mighty Ducks team, his mom decides to start their own team, finding players, a coach, and a place to play.”

'Mighty Ducks' Reboot In the Works as a New Disney+ Original Series

Disney+ will give studios such as Marvel, Lucasfilm, Pixar, National Geographic, Disney, and more, the chance to bring new content directly to their consumers via Disney+ to help enrich stories, both old and new, without the hassle of over-saturating theaters or interrupted viewing.

Will you be watching The Mighty Ducks Series on Disney+? What other Disney+ Original Series are you excited to stream? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

Video: Decorating Disneyland for the Holidays

Video: Decorating Disneyland for the Holidays

When do you start decorating for the holidays? It seems to change every year at my house but Disney is always consistent! Decorations start going up at Disneyland right after Halloween every year. But did you know that planning the holiday design starts almost a year in advance? Creating, maintaining and storing all of the decorations for the resort is a year-long process for the Disneyland Resort enhancement team.

The video below shows Disneyland Resort’s resident “elves” hard at work in the warehouse where most of the resort’s yuletide trimmings are stored. From gathering garland to unboxing bows, they ensure every detail of décor is ready to make the season bright at the Disneyland Resort.

YouTube player

Here’s some fun facts about decorating for the holidays at the Disneyland Resort:

  • The exterior of Main Street, U.S.A., features approximately 220 garlands that measure more than four miles long, with approximately 80 wreaths and 120 bows bringing the season to life on this charming street.
  • It takes nearly three dozen cast members 35 days to install the glittering façade of “it’s a small world” Holiday and nearly 18 days to decorate the holiday attraction’s dazzling interior.
  • The Disneyland Christmas tree stands 60-feet tall on Main Street, U.S.A. and features 1,500 Victorian-inspired ornaments with 100 oversized faux candles.
  • Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle shimmers during the day and is illuminated each night with more than 126,000 twinkling LED lights, sparkling “icicles” and shimmering snow-capped turrets.
  • A 50-foot Christmas tree adorns Carthay Circle to help guests get in the holiday spirit. The tree and surrounding buildings are decorated with vintage-style ornaments in keeping with the theme of Buena Vista Street, inspired by Los Angeles as it appeared when Walt Disney arrived in the 1920s.

Will you get to experience the Disneyland Resort during the holidays this year? What’s your favorite part? Let us know in the comments!

Christmas Decorations Are Up For The Season At Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Christmas Decorations Are Up For The Season At Disney’s Hollywood Studios

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Walt Disney World Resort. Yesterday we went around Hollywood Studios to take a look at all the fun Christian decor that was put up. Hollywood Studios is one of my favorite parks for Christmas and I absolutely love the vintage feel and decorations.

Christmas Decorations Are Up For The Season At Disney’s Hollywood Studios

As soon as you arrive at Hollywood Studios you’re greeted with the sights and sounds of Christmas. Fun garland hangs on the entrance sign and there’s big band Christmas music playing from the speakers.

It’s even more beautiful once you arrive inside the turnstiles. All down Hollywood Boulevard are amazing Christmas decorations. I love the wreaths that go from on side to the next. Make sure to look at the fun windows as well like this adorable window.

What I like most is the amount of Christmas decor you get even when you leave the main entrance unlike say Magic Kingdom where it tends to be just on Main Street.

Vintage Christmas decor is placed throughout the beginning of this fun park. It really is a tribute to the atmosphere of Hollywood Studios.

Echo Lake is so beautiful during the holiday season! The tree at Hollywood Studios is massive. Large floating ornaments complete the look and they even light up at night.

Even Gertie gets festive with a Santa hat and ornament.

Even Toy Story Land gets a Christmas overhaul! The Hamm Santa Cookie is my favorite. He’s just so cute!! You can find him right in the center of Toy Story Land across from the Slinky Dog ride and Woody’s Lunchbox.

The best part is no matter what time of day you go there are tons of beautiful decorations to see. I actually recommend going both during the day and at night to get the full effect of the lights. Also if going at night make sure to check out Jingle Bell Jingle Bam! The amazing fireworks spectacular that starts Friday November 8th. It’s one of my favorites.

There are so many amazing things happening right now at the Walt Disney World Resort. It’s the most amazing time to visit. Stay tuned for even more holiday happenings coming soon!

Frozen Mezzo Mix with Honey Bourbon is Worth a Stop in Germany

honey bourbon mezzo mix epcot

If you’re looking for something refreshing but with a delicious bourbon taste look no further than the Germany Pavillion at Epcot.  This drink really surprised me.  The honey bourbon taste was better than I expected in this frozen concoction.

Frozen Mezzo Mix with Honey Bourbon is Worth a Stop in Germany

Officially this drink is the Frozen Mezzo Mix served with Bärenjager Honey & Bourbon Liqueur.  It can be found at the little kiosk right outside the gift shops in the Germany Pavillion.  The alcoholic version costs $14 and the non-alcoholic sells for $4.75.

Frozen Mezzo Mix with Honey Bourbon is Worth a Stop in Germany

As you drink around the world you have many options, but this one is quite different from others.  I’m not aware of many other frozen drinks that feature a good bourbon taste.  Consider stopping by for this treat next time you are traveling the world (showcase).  It will be the perfect fall treat!

Disney Parks Hanukkah Merchandise Adds Magic To The Festival of Lights

Disney Parks Hanukkah Merchandise

Disney Parks Hanukkah Merchandise Adds Magic To The Festival of Lights

I have an interfaith family, and we proudly celebrate both Christmas, and Hanukkah. Being a Disney loving family, we love finding decorations that reflect who we are. Each year I eagerly anticipate the reveal of the Disney Parks Hanukkah Merchandise, so I can add to my collection.

Disney Parks Hanukkah Merchandise Adds Magic To The Festival of Lights

This year’s theme has a really beautiful monochromatic blue color scheme. The theme is also “Light, Laughter, & Latkes”, and honestly that is just too perfect. First up on my list of must haves, is this super cozy looking fleece throw! This is a large sized blanket too, at 50″x60″!

Disney Parks Hanukkah Merchandise Adds Magic To The Festival of Lights

I can honestly never have enough serving trays for Hanukkah. Afterall, we need something to serve up all of those delicious latkes and sufganiyot on! The design on this is also really beautiful. One of my favorite images on this new collection is the subtle snowflake made out of Dreidels!

Disney Parks Hanukkah Merchandise Adds Magic To The Festival of Lights

Obviously we need salt and pepper on the table for those of us who like our latkes savory! One shaker has Minnie, while the other has Mickey in the gorgeous monochromatic blue scheme.

Disney Parks Hanukkah Merchandise Adds Magic To The Festival of Lights

This collection also has a set of fabulous tea towels to accent the kitchen with! I’ll be honest I spend a lot of time during Hanukkah in the kitchen preparing delicious treats for my family to enjoy together as we exchange stories, and light the candles.

Last but not least we have my favorite item from the collection. This is a Hanukkah banner, that is actually 8 separate pouches. This is fantastic for my family since we do eight small gifts each night, with each gift representing a special meaning of the holiday to us.

Will you be adding extra magic to your holiday celebrations with the new Disney Parks Hanukkah Merchandise collection? You can also find the collection online at shopDisney too!
