Leading man, Pedro Pascal, has won over the Star Wars fanbase with his performance in Disney+ and Star Wars series, The Mandalorian. Recently, Pascal sat down with Screen Slam to share about his experience on the show and revealed the true name of his character that has only been referred to as “Mando”, a slang term for a Mandalorian within the Star Wars universe.

Pedro Pascal revealed, “The Mandalorian — whose real name is Dyn Jarren — is your iconically cool, flawed, mysterious, loner gunslinger that harkens to the best of the samurai movies and the Westerns and in talking to [showrunner Jon Favreau] I asked him what should I be looking at. I know he loves movies. I love movies. What should I be watching? And he immediately brought up Sergio Leone and Akira Kurosawa, Yojimbo, and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. So, he’s very samurai, Clint and me.”

So there we have it! “Mando’s” real name is Dyn Jarren. The character has yet to be named within the series, but since this information has been shared, more than likely it will become relevant at some point within the series.

Recently, a fan took to twitter and asked : “I wonder how Pedro Pascal feels about being ruthlessly outshined by a puppet”, meaning “Baby Yoda“. Pascal expertly replied: “I’m cool [with] it”.

With the raging success of The Mandalorian, it’s no surprise the stars don’t seem to share the spotlight with the shows best kept secret. Especially since it has made the series that much more intriguing to watch. So much so, that the series has become the most in demand streaming show to date!

“After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe.  “The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.”

GIPHY Reinstates GIF’s of “Baby Yoda” and Apologizes for Removing Them. With the recent launch of Disney+ came an all new Star Wars series called The Mandalorian. The series follows the adventures of a Mandalorian bounty hunter who forms an unusual bond with one of the targets he was assigned to deliver to a loyal member of the imperials. This ‘target’ now being referred to as “Baby Yoda” until we learn the name of the creature or at the least, his species, has caused quite the stir online, with fans clamoring for merchandise and sharing the characters photos and gifs just about everywhere.

A few days ago, fans noticed GIFs of “Baby Yoda” seemed to disappear, and rumors quickly swept that Disney was to blame over “copyright concerns” for the character. Yesterday, The Guardian shared that in fact Disney was not to blame, but the GIF were taken down by GIPHY, who went on to apologize to Disney and Vulture, who initially made the claims against Disney.

GIPHY Reinstates GIF's of "Baby Yoda" and Apologizes for Removing Them

“Last week, there was some confusion around certain content uploaded to Giphy and we temporarily removed these Gifs while we reviewed the situation,” Giphy said in a statement. “We apologize to both Disney and Vulture for any inconvenience, and we are happy to report that the Gifs are once again live on Giphy,” GIPHY shared in a statement.

Forbes had initially weighed in on the situation shedding light on how usage of GIFs tends to fall under the “fair use” policies regarding copyrights and are not usually used or released with the intention of harming the work of the original artist/content creator.

“According to Jeff John Roberts of Fortune, GIFs can be considered ‘transformative’ under copyright law because they do not undermine the market for the original work: ‘No one, for instance, is going to watch a Star Wars GIF instead of the original movie.'”

We seriously doubt anyone intended to use these GIFs for The Dark Side, and are happy to see that GIPHY has reinstated the GIFs and took responsibility for their decision.

Together with Anna (Kristen Bell), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), Olaf (Josh Gad), and Sven, she’ll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In “Frozen,” Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In “Frozen II,” she must hope they are enough.”

The World’s Biggest White Castle Set to open near Walt Disney World

The World's Biggest White Castle Set to open near Walt Disney World

Much to the delight of more than 9,300 followers of the Facebook page Bring White Castle to Florida, not to mention thousands of other “Cravers” in FloridaWhite Castle® will be opening its first Florida restaurant within the next 18 months.

The 98-year-old family-owned business made the announcement today, first to the followers of Bring White Castle to Florida, and then, with the help of its beloved Royal Town Crier, to the guests at a special event at the site of its future Florida castle – in Orlando in The Village at O-Town West, part of the $1 billion O-Town West mixed-use development on Daryl Carter Parkway off of I-4.

Construction on the new restaurant, which at 4,500 square feet will be among the company’s largest, is expected to begin in April 2020 and should be finished by late 2020 or early 2021. The Orlando castle marks the iconic brand’s return to Florida; in the 1960s, it operated a castle in Miami.

“Florida Cravers have long been asking for us to open a castle there,” said Lisa Ingram, president and CEO of White Castle and a fourth-generation family member. “We believe now is the right time for us enter the Sunshine State, and Orlando is an ideal location to launch our business there.”

The World's Biggest White Castle Set to open near Walt Disney World

The move into Florida comes on the heels of White Castle’s entry into another state – Arizona. White Castle opened a restaurant in Scottsdale on Oct. 23, the first company-owned castle west of the Mississippi River. Hundreds of people waited in lines for hours to purchase White Castle’s craveable little hamburger, called the Original Slider®, as well as its fish slider, its chicken and waffles slider, its plant-based Impossible™ Slider, and all of its other mouthwatering menu items.

Based in Columbus, Ohio, and known as America’s original fast-food restaurant, White Castle has more than 375 restaurants in 13 states. The Florida location will bring that number to 14. Like most of the chain’s other restaurants, the Orlando castle will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, satisfying the crave of White Castle fans morning, noon and night.

As part of the announcement, White Castle brought its Crave Mobile to Orlando, and fans ate up the opportunity to sample the Original Slider, cheese sliders and jalapeno cheese sliders. Many Floridians already know the tantalizing taste of White Castle thanks to the availability of the Original Slider, chicken breast sliders, veggie sliders, black bean sliders and other products in several retail outlets across Florida.
