We are at Disney’s Riviera Resort this morning for the Grand Opening.

Disney’s Riviera Resort is designed to capture the magic of Europe that Walt Disney fell in love with when he visited there a long time ago.

This elegant Resort will celebrate the grandeur of Europe—which has long inspired some of the greatest Disney stories with its castles and fairy-tale villages.

In the main lobby, you’ll find yourself in an elegant setting appointed with a mix of modern and classic 20th-Century furnishings.

You’ll also discover a unique art collection celebrating beloved Disney Characters and icons, influenced by master artists who found inspiration along the European Riviera. We especially love the Tangled Mural.

The European ambiance will extend outdoors—where beautiful gardens, bubbling fountains, lush landscaping, and a serene waterfront will beckon you to enjoy scenic strolls with your loved ones.

Elegant New Disney’s Riviera Resort Merchandise Has Arrived

The Disney Riviera Resort is now officially opened! With this momentous occasion also arrives gorgeous new Disney Riviera Resort Merchandise! This isn’t the preview merchandise we saw earlier this year either! This is an all new collection inspired by the resort, and even costumes of the Cast Members.

There is an exclusive pair of Minnie ears for this new resort! Come on, that is just the coolest thing ever. These stunning gold sequined ears also have a headband and bow inspired by the Cast Member costumes for the Riviera Resort.

There is more than just exclusive ears though! There is also an exclusive Disney Riviera Resort Loungefly mini backpack! Little Skyliners are even featured on it, swoon! You’ll be able to dress in Riviera chic from head to toe!

The DVC Member exclusive ears can also be found at this resort. These are available at most DVC properties for members to enjoy.

More exclusives are to be found with the stunning new Riviera Resort Pandora charm! This is a combo set that comes with a Riviera Mickey slider charm, and a Riviera logo dangle charm.

I am also swooning over the exclusive new plush available! You’ll find Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy all gussied up in Riviera inspired clothing. Plush each one also has the Riviera Resort logo embroidered onto their foot.

When Will We See Toy Story 4 on the Disney+ Streaming Service

Disney+ has hundreds of movies and shows available for your viewing pleasure, but there are many missing such as Toy Story 4. Disney has confirmed we will see Toy Story 4, among other films, on Disney+ within a year of the streaming service release. Some films released in cinemas in 2019 like Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame has already been seen on Disney+. So when will we see Toy Story 4?

If we are going by the “within a year” we could be waiting until at least November 2020, but we are hoping to see these releases sooner. That could be a possibility! According to Newsweek, In general, films are set to appear on the service four months after their DVD and BluRay release. The film was released on home entertainment formats on October 8, 2019, meaning that, if the sequel follows suit it will come to Disney+ in early February 2020.

Fans may also notice Toy Story 4 is not the only missing Toy Story content. We have yet to see the three Toy Story Toons shorts, plus Toy Story of Terror, Toy Story That Time Forgot and the Buzz Lightyear of Star Command TV series on the Disney+ service and there is no indication as to if or when these will be on the platform.

Since there is no actual confirmation of when Toy Story 4 will be released we will just have to watch the other Toy Story related material available. Currently, all three of the Toy Story films are available to watch. In addition, fans can watch the new animated series Forky Asks a Question voiced by Tony Hale. Plus, coming soon to Disney+ is the short film Lamp Life featuring Bo Peep during her hiatus between Toy Story 2 and Toy Story 4.

The Wonderful World of Disney Magical Holiday Celebration Added to Disney+

“The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” kicked off the holiday season on ABC Thanksgiving Night. Now the Magical Holiday Celebration is added to Disney+ for those that missed it on ABC!

Hosted by artist Matthew Morrison, singer-songwriter and TV host Emma Bunton, and TV host Jesse Palmer, the two-hour prime-time special premiered from Cinderella Castle at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Resort in California. The Magical Holiday Celebration also featured celebrity musical performances among a flurry of Disney holiday entertainment. Viewers can enjoy the following musical performers:

GRAMMY Award-winning icons Sting and Shaggy perform duets and solo numbers from Walt Disney World Resort, including a new festive reggae version of “Silent Night (Christmas is Coming).”

GRAMMY Award-winning rock band Portugal. The Man performs “Happy Christmas” and “Merry Christmas Everybody” from Disneyland Resort.

Three-time GRAMMY Award-winning group Pentatonix will sing a cappella renditions of “Deck the Halls” and “Here Comes Santa Claus” from Walt Disney World Resort.

Singers Ingrid Michaelson and Andy Grammer perform an all-new original holiday song from Disneyland Resort.

International pop star Ally Brooke sings “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” from Walt Disney World Resort.

Singer-songwriter and TV host Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) performs “Santa Baby” from Walt Disney World Resort.

The Tony, Emmy, and two-time Golden Globe-nominated artist Matthew Morrison performs a medley from Walt Disney World Resort of “When You Wish Upon A Star” from the upcoming album “Disney Dreamin’ with Matthew Morrison” and the classic “Let it Snow.”

Acclaimed two-time Billboard Award-winning electronic violinist Lindsey Stirling pulls all the strings at Walt Disney World Resort for “Carol of the Bells,” from her Christmas album “Warmer in The Winter.”

In addition, viewers were also treated to several Disney Parks sneak peeks, including an exclusive behind-the-scenes look into Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

The “Disney Channel Holiday Party @ Walt Disney World” will air on Friday, Dec. 13, from 8-8:30 p.m. EST/PST, on Disney Channel and in the DisneyNOW app. Plus, the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” will air on Wednesday, Dec. 25, from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. EST, 9:00-11:00 a.m. CST/MST/PST on ABC and on the ABC app. No word when they will be available on the Disney+ app.

Spoiler Free Review: Spies In Disguise

The latest animated feature from Blue Sky Studios, “Spies In Disguise“, debuts in theaters on Christmas Day. We got the chance to see this film and we can’t wait to share how much we enjoyed it!

This film comes to as the first animated feature from the Walt Disney and 20th Century Fox merger. Blue Sky’s Troy Quane and Nick Bruno were inspired to create this film from an original short film, “Pigeon Impossible” by Lucas Martell.

“Spies In Disguise” is a whirlwind adventure that kept us on the edge of our seats. The odd couple type of dynamic that characters Lance Sterling (Will Smith) and Walter Beckett (Tom Holland) make for some pretty hilarious moments. The rest of the voice cast is also unique and includes stars Reba McEntire, Karen Gillan, DJ Khaled, and Masi Oka. The entire cast did such a great job adding hilarity and warmth to this feature.

Although the film follows a traditional spy movie format, it has its own unique look and style. From color to lighting, the imagery of this film is quite beautiful. Typically, in a spy movie, you have those long shots of an international destination and the way these animators created the same look is brilliant.

Ultimately, “Spies In Disguise” is a heartwarming story with all the tight spy movie elements. It’s a great film to watch with the family during this holiday season!

Anaheim Ducks Day Merchandise Coming To Disney California Adventure

Anaheim Ducks Day returns to Disney California Adventure on January 8th! With it comes some fabulous and dun Anaheim Ducks Day Merchandise to celebrate with! Not only is there a fun new Spirit Jersey, there is also a new pair of ears!

Event Merchandise will be available at Stage 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.! Outside Stage 17 you’ll be able to gear up with special Anaheim Ducks Day merchandise, including apparel (adult tees, ladies tees, spirit jerseys), a specially created hockey puck inspired headband, beanie, scarf, hockey puck and limited-edition pin! Let’s be totally honest, you know we would be disappointed if they didn’t offer a collectible Hockey Puck!

The hockey puck look also lends the inspiration to the new Minnie Ears for this celebration too. The red headband, and bow are made out of a hockey jersey type material, and there are even mini hockey sticks stuck in the bow! The ears are also hockey pucks of course! Who wouldn’t love these?

The Spirit Jersey is at the top of my list! It says “Anaheim Ducks Day” in a mix of fonts that blend together both the hockey team, and Disney. Don’t worry if Spirit Jerseys aren’t your thing, you’ll also find a hoodie, and t-shirts celebrating this fun event.

The Anaheim Ducks Day Merchandise is limited release, and available while supplies last. Be advised that there will be purchase limits in place. Discounts will also not be accepted.

New Star Wars TV Show Possibly in the Works for Disney+

A new Star Wars live-action TV show may already be in the works for Disney+! And it’s not one you might expect. The new show is said to be based on the Marvel Comics character Doctor Aphra.

For those unfamiliar with the Star Wars Marvel comics, Doctor Aphra originates in the 2015 Darth Vader miniseries. She’s a criminal archeologist working for the Dark Lord. Eventually, Aphra severed her ties with Vader and even crossed paths with Han Solo and Luke Skywalker.

Aphra is one of the only in-canon Star Wars characters depicted as queer. Her creator, writer Kieron Gillen, has gone on record saying: “I normally say Aphra’s a lesbian.”

Rumor is that filming has already started for this new series and that it tentatively scheduled to be released in 2020. There’s also speculation that it will be a Lucasfilm-Marvel venture but there’s no word yet if Kevin Feige will be involved. If the new series is indeed in the works, then the excitement for Star Wars and future Star Wars projects won’t end after The Rise of Skywalker releases next week!

For now, we’ll just take this as an awesome rumor we really hope to be true.

‘Ooh be gah!’ “Baby Yoda” is now available in The Sims 4. As if the “Baby Yoda” movement didn’t have enough support, it appears EA was quick to add a collectible item in The Sims 4 called ” The Child Statue” which is a scaled replica of “Baby Yoda” in The Mandalorian.

Though the figure is not able to move or act an an individual in the game, The Sims players are going goo-goo gaa-gaa over the new addition. EA is the home of Star Wars video games, so it makes total sense the entertainment company would add everyone’s favorite character from the Star Wars and Disney+ Series, The Mandalorian to one of their games.

Many players have already added the collectible to their games, costing 504 Simoleons a piece, but there are several players looking to create whole armies of “Baby Yoda’s” in their virtual backyards.

‘Zombies 2’ is Coming to Disney Channel This Coming Valentine’s Day

‘Zombies 2’ is Coming to Disney Channel This Coming Valentine’s Day. “There’s no better night for a love story than Valentine’s Day, and our friends at Disney Channel have us covered. ZOMBIES 2, premieres February 14 at 8 p.m. EST/PST. The movie will also be available in DisneyNOW.”

The premise for the movie sees the return of the Zombies cast to tell an all new story about our favorite star-crossed zombie-cheerleader couple, Zed and Addison.

“After the unanticipated arrival of a new pack of mysterious teenage werewolves, who have come to Seabrook in search of an ancient life force buried somewhere within the town, the fearful city council reenacts the town’s anti-monster laws. Suddenly, Addison and Zed’s Prawn-night plans to become the first-ever zombie-cheerleader couple to attend the big event together are out the window. While Zed launches a campaign to run for school president and change the rules, Addison finds herself drawn into the werewolves’ circle. Could this be where she finally fits in? Zed takes drastic action to keep from losing Addison to the werewolf pack, but his plan backfires. When the truth comes out, everyone—zombies, cheerleaders, and werewolves—discover the real meaning of community and acceptance.”

New ‘High School Musical: The Musical: The Series’ ABC Special Coming Soon to Disney+. Nearly 14 years after the debut of Disney Channel’s massively popular sensation “High School Musical,” the beloved movie and its newest extension, the critically acclaimed, “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” for Disney+, are the subject of a special telecast, “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series: The Special,” first showcased on ABC and will find a new home FRIDAY, DEC. 20, on Disney+.

“The special takes viewers to the “High School Musical” set during filming in 2005, including archived video from the “Zac Cam” behind the scenes as filmed by Zac Efron with Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, Alyson Reed and Olesya Rulin. In addition, actor Lucas Grabeel (“High School Musical”) offers words of wisdom for the new series cast and makes an exciting announcement about the episode premiering Friday, Dec. 27. Plus, actor Corbin Bleu and Disney Legend Kenny Ortega, director/choreographer, talk about their shared Wildcat experience as they meet the new cast and fondly reminisce about stadium concerts and more.”

Watch ‘Into the Unknown’ from ‘Frozen II‘ in 29 Different Languages. Frozen II has become an instant hit among Disney Fans of all ages, winning over much of their audience with another phenomenal soundtrack. With headlining stars such as Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff, and Idina Menzel, it’s easy to forget that there are SO many other voices behind our favorite animated characters who are equally as talented and devoted to portraying the character in their own tongue.

Frozen II has been dubbed in 45 different languages and marks the first time a Disney film has been dubbed in Sámi. “Into the Unknown” was written by Oscar®-winning songwriters Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.

Check out a new multi-language global rendition of the Golden Globe®-nominated song “Into the Unknown” (best original song) from “Frozen II.” The animated sequence from the movie features vocals in 29 languages, including English, Swedish, German, Icelandic, Norwegian, French, Hindi, Polish, Korean, Japanese and Sámi, among others, showcasing some the voices tapped to help bring the story of “Frozen 2” to audiences around the world.
