High School Musical: The Musical” The Series follows the next generation of East High Wildcats as they navigate love, school, friendship, and their own production of High School Musical. The 10-episode series will be available exclusively on Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+.

Nina (Olivia Rodrigo) and current boyfriend, E.J. (Matt Cornett) share a moment on the East High Stage during auditions for High School Musical.
Ricky (Joshua Bassett), Nina’s ex-boyfriend, auditions for the lead opposite Nina to try and win her back in front of the new East High drama teacher, Miss Jenn (Kate Reinders) and Carlos (Frankie A. Rodriguez), the musical’s choreographer.
Nina, E.J., and E.J.’s cousin, Ashlyn (Julia Lester), sit with other Wildcats and watch Ricky’s audition.
