Friar’s Nook Breakfast is Officially Here to Stay at the Magic Kingdom

The Friar’s Nook, a popular quick service location at Magic Kingdom, recently debuted a “limited time” breakfast menu with three different options for guests. It included a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant, cinnamon-sugar doughnut holes, and sausage and gravy potato barrels- all for under $10 each!

This breakfast menu was added late last year and the guests loved it so much, Disney decided to keep it! As many Magic Kingdom guests know, there aren’t very many quick service breakfast options so this is wonderful news.

The Friar’s Nook is conveniently placed behind Cinderella’s Castle in Fantasyland, right across from the Seven Dwarves Mine Train attraction. You can even enjoy these breakfast offerings from rope drop all the way to 11a.m.

Is Jar Jar Binks Possibly Returning to Obi-Wan Kenobi’s Disney+ Series?

Star Wars fans are eager to see more adventures in a galaxy far, far away! Even though The Mandalorian is done with new episodes for a while, we do have other projects to look forward to. The production for the Obi-Wan Kenobi series will begin later in 2020. The eagerly anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi series may see some familiar faces return from the prequel films. A new rumor is that Jar Jar Binks will be making an appearance in Kenobi’s series.

Why would Jar Jar Binks return though? If you think about it, he’s one of the few prequel characters whose fate we didn’t see after Revenge of the Sith. Jar Jar was a member of the Republic’s Galactic Senate up until Palpatine declared a new government. Unfortunately, Jar Jar and other political members were tricked into giving emergency powers to Shiv Palpatine. This is what enabled Palpatine to declare himself Emperor and destroy the Republic. With the Imperials now imposing a harsh rule the galaxy, Jar Jar would no longer have any friends on Coruscant.

The rumor of Jar Jar’s return is coming from Jason Ward, Editor-in-Chief of Making Star Wars. He believes Jar Jar Binks will be in the Obi-Wan Kenobi series based on his sources. These sources indicate pre-CGI work is place for an older, bearded Jar Jar Binks who’s searching for Kenobi on Tatooine. It would be interesting to see a more somber Jar Jar who witnessed the downfall of his friends in the Republic. But for now, it’s only a rumor since production hasn’t started yet.

Muppet Vision 3D To Close For Refurbishment This Month

Kermit and his friends are taking a quick break later this month to offer you a better show experience!

Muppet*Vision 3D at Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be closing for refurbishment from January 26 to February 8, 2020.

The Grand Arts Theater is set to get some renovations like new seats and curtains to offer a better show to guests.

The show will be back on February 9 on it’s normal schedule from 10am to 8pm daily.

Muppet*Vision 3D takes you on a tour of the muppets lab showing their new movie making invention with onscreen musical numbers and live in-theater special effects that everyone will love.

Meet Joy From Inside Out At Her New Meet&Greet Location In Epcot!

There are a lot of things to be happy about!

Like meeting Joy from Inside Out at her new meet&greet location in Epcot! As soon as you enter the room you will be transported to Imagination Land where you will be greeted by Joy herself.

The new location is super colorful and bright just like Joy! And is located inside the Imagination Pavilion in the ImageWorks section.

You can laugh it out with her from 9am to 7pm daily.

Unfourtunally Sadness won’t be meeting guests anymore but as Joy says you can’t focus on what’s going wrong, there’s always a way to turn things around!

So head over to Epcot to meet her and other Disney characters around the park.

New Mickey Mouse Meet & Greet Location At Epcot!

Who’s the leader of the club that’s made for you and me? M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E!

The big cheese himself has a new home at Epcot where he will be greeting guests everyday!

The new location features a beautiful blue curtain background and is surrounded by a film strip showcasing Mickey’s career from Steamboat Willie to The Band Concert.

You can find him at the entrance of the Disney & Pixar Short Film inside the Imagination Pavilion. As soon as you enter make a right and you will find the queue area decorated with pictures of Mickey’s short films! It’s so adorable.

He will be waiting for you from 9am to 8:30pm daily so don’t miss this opportunity to stop by and take a picture!

Photo Tour: MouseGear Has a New Location

Epcot is definitely experiencing a big “face-lift” throughout the whole park, with lengthy refurbishments and tons of construction sites. However, Walt Disney World still wants you to be able to enjoy some of your favorite places even through the expansion process!

That being said, MouseGear has a new (temporary) location while refurbishments are being made on the actual store. This allows guests to still be able to shop for all of their favorite Disney pieces at Epcot.

This temporary MouseGear store is located conveniently at Innovations East (behind the Electric Umbrella restaurant and on the way to Test Track).

Whatever you’re on the hunt for is labeled pretty well, with large lit-up signs over the headgear, tees, and café sections. The signage also gives a very modern aesthetic to the store.

The store even carries some of Walt Disney World‘s most popular collections, including the Briar Rose Gold Collection.

The interior looks pretty great so we can only imagine what the new Mousegear location will be like!

Meghan Markle Signs Deal with Disney to do Voiceover for Charity

The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has signed a voiceover deal with Disney in exchange for a donation to Elephants Without Borders. The charity is dedicated to conserving wildlife and helps protect elephants from poaching.

She recorded the voiceover before she left for a six-week break to Canada to celebrate Christmas with her family.

The arrangement with Disney suggests that Meghan’s career plans could see the couple using their celebrity status to benefit future causes.

You might remember when we reported back in May when the royal couple was given a beautiful watercolor Winnie-the-Pooh animation to celebrate the birth of the new royal baby.

The Park Life Dooney And Bourke Collection Has Arrived At Disney Parks

The new Park Life Dooney And Bourke Collection has arrived at the Disney Parks, and it is gorgeous! Not only did four beautiful silhouettes release on Friday, but a new MagicBand also debuted! The collection is available now at the Disney Parks, and includes three regular bags, a passholder bag, and of course the MagicBand!

We’ve already looked at the bags before the debuted, so let’s check out the stunning new MagicBand! This beauty is a deep pink like the bags, and comes in a very sturdy collectors box. The front of the box actually showcases a nice overall design of the print used on the bags and band. This MagicBand retails for $58.00, and has a limited edition run of 2,500.

Each of the Park and Attraction icons are showcases in a cascading pattern along the MagicBand. I like that they did it this way, instead of a tinier all over print.

As always the Dooney and Bourke MagicBand also comes with a special branded slider. This one is a sleek silver one. The MagicBand is unfortunately not available online at this time.

The Annual Passholder bag is available only for, you guessed it Passholders. This is a tote with extra pockets in the front, and it also included a specialty hang tag. The hang tag definitely lets you rep your AP pride when ever you carry this stunning bag. Just like the MagicBand, this piece from the collection is not online. The other three handbags for the collection however, are online!

Disney Park Life Tote

The tote is the largest of the bags offered, and also showcases the all over print the best. This is a bag you won’t have to worry much about placement with, because there is a large clear area to show off the design. The tote retails for $268.00, and is available at the Disney Parks, and shopDisney.

Disney Park Life Satchel

The satchel has a lot more leather detailing, and includes a front pocket. It is not much smaller than the tote silhouette, but includes more organization pockets. The satchel retails for $268.00, and is also available at the Disney Parks, and online.

Disney Park Life Crossbody Bag

The crossbody is the “smallest” of the collection, but it is still a pretty good size. This bag is perfect if you like to be hands free though. It also includes a front pocket, but the large space in the front is great for displaying the fabulous new print. This is the most affordable of the bags at $158.00. Just like the tote and satchel, the crossbody is available at the Disney Parks, and online.

The Park Life Dooney and Bourke Collection perfectly captures the whimsy of the parks with many of the attractions we love displayed on a dark pink background. The amazing new print includes icons of Sleeping Beauty Castle, Cinderella Castle, Tree of Life, Space Mountain, Disney it’s a small world, Matterhorn, Carthay Circle, Pixar Pal-A-Round, Spaceship Earth, Hollywood Tower Hotel, King Arthur Carrousel, Cars Land, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Pixar Ball, Dumbo, and more!

2020 Epcot Flower Garden Festival Topiaries & Gardens

The 2020 International Flower and Garden Festival is just around the corner. It will be arriving at Epcot March 4th, and running until June 1st this year. It is a time of year when Epcot looks its prettiest with all the lush floral arrangements and botanicals surrounding the entire park. With at least 50 topiaries that depict some of your favorite characters, there is so much to see! Here is a list of topiaries that the Disney horticulturists have been working on the past year to have prepared for the flower and garden festival.

The festival doesn’t stop there. Gardens and exhibits will also spring up through the park, to get you fully immersed in a tropical oasis or a lush garden of your choosing. The butterfly garden is not to be missed. It feels like you stepped into pixie hollow. The bromeliads by Mexico transport you to a forest in Mexico. Be sure to make time to take in all the gardens this festival has to offer and really appreciate the beauty of it all.

Bamboo Garden – As a member of the grass family, bamboo can be found at the China Pavilion in many colors, patterns and sizes.
Bo Peep’s Playtime Training Ground – Gather adults and kids at the Test Track walkway for Toy Story 4– themed engaging and interactive fun.

Shakespeare Garden – Thou shalt adore matching up famous quotes to flowers found within this vibrant garden at the United Kingdom Pavilion. William Shakespeare often used flowers and exotic gardens to help set the scenes for his plays and employed them as symbols and metaphors.
The Goodness Garden Butterfly House Presented by GoGo squeeZ – Visit this foliage-filled exhibit at Future World West to view a kaleidoscope of butterflies and observe several species up close, learning about their life cycles and maybe even witnessing them emerging from chrysalises.
Plant a Garden Perfect for Pollinators – Stop by this display near the Butterfly House and take garden-ready ideas home with you, along with garden crafts and sustainable best practices.
Tropical Rainforest Garden – Visit the Mexico Pavilion and learn how Mexico rainforests are rich with plants and animals that have adapted to a wide variety of light levels and water conditions.
Urban Spice – At the Morocco Pavilion, learn how in many eastern cultures, ancient spices were considered more valuable than gold. Even today, many cultures are defined by their signature spices and herb blends, created from plant leaves, stems, roots, seeds and flowers.

Also be sure to check out the outdoor kitchens with many fresh food items. Not to miss is the Garden Rocks concert series with a great line up with nightly entertainment. Consider taking a tour or visiting an exhibit or seminar for a more hands on horticulture learning experience.

The Millennium Falcon Popcorn Bucket Lands at Walt Disney World

Exciting news for Star Wars fans heading to Orlando’s Disney theme parks! The Millennium Falcon popcorn bucket is now available at Walt Disney World. The new popcorn bucket made its debut at Disney Springs this weekend.

The Millennium Falcon popcorn bucket can be found on the West Side of Disney Springs. It’s at a kiosk between Disney’s Candy Cauldron and the Exposition Park food trucks. The new popcorn bucket is $25 and eligible for $2 popcorn refills at Disney World similar to other popcorn buckets.

For those wondering where the popcorn goes, the opening is at the center of the ship. This is quite a deep popcorn bucket that fits a whole box of popcorn into the cargo hold of the Millennium Falcon. Another cool feature is that this ship lights up! The back burners of the Millennium Falcon light up when you switch on its battery light. Also, the strap makes it easy to carry the Millennium Falcon around Walt Disney World. This new popcorn bucket makes a great souvenir for Star Wars fans and popcorn bucket collectors.
