A Twist on Two Classic Treats at Magic Kingdom Its a Churro Ice Cream Sandwich

A Twist on Two Classic Treats at Magic Kingdom Its a Churro Ice Cream Sandwich

How about that a twist on two classic treats has hit Disney’s Magic Kingdom by storm. Its a Churro meets Ice Cream, its a Churro Ice cream sandwich people! Yum! It is located at the Sleepy Hollow stand over in Liberty Square. This dessert is two cinnamon coated circular, warm churros. Then stacked between with a big ol’ scoop of vanilla icecream. The warm doughy cinnamon sugar combination with the icy cold creamy vanilla is just scrumptious! It cost $6.99 before tax.

Any time I talk about churros I am forced to tell the story of how as a child growing up in a family of seven kids we had to share our churros at Disney.  Because well there were seven of us, and its Disney we are talking about. Let’s be honest.  But as an adult, there is no sharing this. Its two of my favorite Disney treats combined into one!!! Sorry hubby but you are getting your own.

A Twist on Two Classic Treats at Magic Kingdom Its a Churro Ice Cream Sandwich

This Churro Ice Cream Sandwich beats out all the other latest churro creations for me personally. Even topping the Ghiradelli Churros in my book, because as I mentioned, it is a churro and ice cream! Festival of the Arts right now also has some cute little churro paintbrushes. Also at Epcot, there’s a new PB&J Funnel Cake Icecream Sandwich.  Another one of my favorite Churros at Disney would have to be over at Animal Kingdom.  At the Nomad Lounge, they come with a slightly spicy strawberry dipping sauce and vanilla creme that is oh so good. Those churros also happen to be gluten-free for those who love churros but also can’t handle the gluten. I could talk churros all day! As the Disney shirt says, “But first, Churros!”

Stay up to date with all the new treats at Disney with Chip and Co who will bring you all the latest.

Maria and Enzo’s

Maria and Enzo’s

We were recently invited to Maria and Enzo’s Ristorante in Disney Springs to check out their Carnevale event. For those wondering, Carnevale is a Venetian holiday filled with festivities and indulgences. The entertainment and food are some of the highlights of Carnevale. To better inform our readers, we dined at Maria and Enzo’s Carnevale to review the details of the evening event.

Maria and Enzo’s Carnevale at Disney Springs

The Carnevale event is taking place from now until February 29th, 2030. It runs each night from 5:00PM to 10:00 PM. There’s no cover charge or additional cost to attend Carenevale since this event is open to all visitors who come in the evening.

Maria and Enzo’s Carnevale at Disney Springs

There’s something fun when you first arrive. A host or hostess will greet you as you enter and offer masquerade masks to guests. You can pick up a mask and some party beads as little novelties to enjoy the Carnevale celebration. Also, the main dining room is filled with beautiful decorations, balloons, and banners for guests to enjoy throughout the month of February.

Another great feature of the night is the live entertainment! We had a violin player visit our table to perform musical requests and he stopped at everyone’s table that evening. There was another employee going around offering to make balloon animals for guests. He made a monkey balloon for our table! Also, they had an artist available to help kids create their own masquerade mask designs and all of this was free for dinner guests!

The entertainment was amazing and really added to the experience. It made our dinner memorable and everyone loved it!

Maria and Enzo’s Carnevale at Disney Springs

Maria and Enzo’s Ristorante has a special dinner menu for its Carnevale event this month. We sampled some of the cocktails and dinner menu items to see what they have to offer guests.

Super Bowl LIV MVP Patrick Mahomes Is ‘Going to Disney World!’

Super Bowl LIV MVP Patrick Mahomes Is ‘Going to Disney World!’

The Kansas City Chiefs, along with Super Bowl LIV MVP Patrick Mahomes, had an amazing game! They beat the San Francisco 49ers in a thrilling 31-20 victory. This is the first NFL championship for Kansas City in 50 years. What an achievement! Patrick Mahomes capped it off by shouting “I’m going to Disney World!”

Mahomes will be at the Walt Disney World Resort Monday for a magical celebration including an afternoon parade at Magic Kingdom. Disney Parks Blog will be live streaming the parade at 2:40 pm ET.

For the first time, a Make-A-Wish child, 10-year-old Nathaniel from Texas, will ride in the parade as well, plus experience some popular Disney attractions. 17 other Make-A-Wish children will also visit Magic Kingdom park on Monday.

To make even more magical wishes come true, Disney Parks is donating $1 million to Make-A-Wish in honor of Mahomes’ MVP performance. It’s all part of Disney’s commitment to delivering comfort and inspiration to children facing serious illnesses – a mission Disney has shared with Make-A-Wish for nearly 40 years. Currently, Disney helps grant more than 10,000 wishes each year.
