Youtuber under investigation for sneaking into Disney World & Universal Studios

Youtuber MattSonswa is under investigation for sneaking into Disney World and Universal Studios Orlando after hours and posting the videos online.

Earlier this week we shared videos of MattSonswa walking backstage at Expedition Everest and Stitch’s Great Escape when the parks were closed.

Although he never shows his face on his YouTube account, MattSonswa has publicly acknowledged that he has snuck into the theme parks, even detailed how he got banned from Disney World twice in a previous video.

Sneaking into restricted park areas is a matter of safety according to Disney.

“In any case where we find someone being intentionally reckless and promoting unsafe acts, we will bring law enforcement to trespass them so they will no longer be allowed to come back to Walt Disney World,” a Disney spokesperson said in an email to Spectrum News 13.

It is reported that his youtube videos are no longer monetized and his Patreon account has been suspended and is currently under review.

No word on if Disney or Universal will be pursuing criminal charges.

Epcot International Flower & Garden is just around the corner, which means the Garden Rocks Concert Series is back and we have the lineup for this year’s festival!

The concerts are available to all ages and will occur at the Americas Gardens Theatre in the America Pavillion at the Epcot World Showcase. The first performance date will be March 4th, 2020 and the last will be June 1st, 2020- each set will be about 30 minutes long.

Costumes Come to Life in Disneyland's New Magic Happens Parade

Disneyland Park in California is on the cusp of debuting its brand new parade, “Magic Happens“. With all new floats, new characters, and all new costumes, this parade is sure to bring magic to life!

The new “Magic Happens” parade hits the park on February 28th, but Disneyland has already shown us some amazing concept art of some of the floats. This week, fans are getting an exclusive behind the scenes look of all the costuming coming with this daily spectacular. With over 90 performers making their way up and down the parade route, it was definitely a challenge to find the perfect look. However, the Disney costuming team was up for the challenge.

The creative costume team drew inspiration from modern runways, while still maintaining that memorable Disney magic. They have created all new fabrics and implemented new technology to create new and innovative styles and textures. For the Coco segment, the team used top of the line embroidery machines to get a handful of colors on the fabric. The creative costumers also used methods of laser cutting to incorporate elaborate and intricate designs. They even included the soundtrack in the costumes with the lyrics to “Magic Happens” (written by Todrick Hall) printed onto certain fabrics.

One thing is for sure, these new costumes are sure to come to life! We can’t wait until they make their fashionable debut! Disneyland‘s all new day-time spectacular, “Magic Happens” makes its way down Main Street U.S.A. on February 28th. You don’t want to miss this magical moment!

Disney is Looking for Contestants for ‘The Maze‘ Coming to Disney+. Ready to go on an epic adventure across Europe with the help of mythical characters and your most trustworthy companion? You are in luck!

Disney is searching nationwide for teams of 2 (one tween/teen age 11-15 & one parent/guardian) to go on a mythical adventure through Europe! Guided by wizards and eccentric characters, teammates will solve riddles and decipher clues that will send them on a journey through European cities and fairytale villages. The show will film for four weeks in June or July 2020.

Chris Pratt and Tom Holland Want to Start an Avengers Cast D&D Group. The classic Table Top Role Playing Game (TTRPG) Dungeons & Dragons has been around for decades, but has since seen a revival among table top gamers old and new. The game is notably an inspiration for the new Disney-Pixar film, Onward, which follows two teenage elf brothers, Ian and Barley Lightfoot, who embark on a quest to see if there is still magic out there in order to spend one last day with their father, who died when they were too young to remember him.

Many mythical creatures from the film are already established in the varying editions of D&D, such as a centaur, manticore, dragons, and unicorns, as well as many other high fantasy settings such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, and many more. Disney and Pixar have definitely created their own little spin on magic in Onward.

Recently, Tom Holland (Barley Lightfoot), spoke with IGN to discuss the movie and shared that his co-star and himself are working to get members of the Avengers cast together to record a session of Dungeons & Dragons together.

Tom Holland shared, “I haven’t, no, but Chris [Pratt] and I have been talking about setting up an Avengers D&D session, which would be amazing.” Holland revealed. It’s a fun idea that will likely get fans of the MCU excited, but Holland had an even bigger tease in store “We actually want to like film it, because it would be really fun. Not livestream it, because I don’t do…is this live? It is live! Oh ok, I’m really stressed now.”

Actress Rebel Wilson Visits Disneyland

Actress Rebel Wilson recently visited Disneyland. The comedy actress recently appeared in the movie “Cats” and entertained viewers who watched last week’s Academy Awards. She was spotted at Disneyland Resort on Sunday, February 16th. From what we can see, Rebel looks like she enjoyed her Disney trip!

She shared her adventures at “The Happiest Place On Earth” via her social media. Rebel enjoyed riding Toy Story Midway Mania and exploring Pixar Pier. She also expressed her joy after visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

It says a lot when a Disney attraction can impress a movie star. Riding the new Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction was one of the highlights of Rebel’s Disneyland visit. She expressed her thrill and excitement to Disney through a post on her Instagram.

Rebel’s recent Disney adventures serve as a reminder that we create new memories with a Disney vacation. If you haven’t been to Disneyland Resort lately, then you owe it to yourself to see the magic in person. With a new daytime parade coming to Disneyland and the addition of Avengers Campus to Disney California Adventure, there is a lot to look forward to in 2020.

Melissa McCarthy Shares Her Experience As Ursula in the Live-Action ‘The Little Mermaid‘. Actress Melissa McCarthy recently appeared on The Ellen Show and shared her experience so far as Ursula in Disney’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid.

“I play Ursula, the Sea Witch. It is so fun! We’re just in rehearsals. It’s been an absolute blast. Stepping into the world of Rob Marshall, It’s like a fever dream. I just went to London for a week, I was like, ‘I don’t get to go to dance camp for a week.’ All day he is like, ‘Do you want to slide down this 40-foot clam shell?’ I’m like, ‘YES! Of course I do! What are you, crazy?’ It’s been wildly creative.” McCarthy shared with Ellen.

“The Little Mermaid is about Princess Ariel, a mermaid and daughter to King of the Sea, King Triton. Ariel falls in love with a human prince after saving him from a shipwreck and dreams of spending a life with him out of the sea. After her father refuses to allow Ariel to be with the man she loves, she turns to the Sea Witch, Ursula, to help her meet Prince Eric so he can meet the woman with the beautiful voice that saved his life and hopefully fall in love with her too. Ursula deceives Ariel and tricks her into giving away her voice for a pair of human legs. The Sea Witch then uses the stolen voice to enchant Prince Eric and steal him away from Ariel and collect on their contract. To save Ariel, King Triton sacrifices himself and together Prince Eric and Ariel defeat the evil Sea Witch and save the day.”

St. Patrick’s Day is only a few weeks away. If you’re looking for ways to celebrate, then you’ll discover that Disney Springs offers the best Irish festival in Orlando! The Mighty St. Patrick’s Festival at Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant offers a five-day celebration for all to enjoy. The festival is held March 13th through March 17th, 2020.

It’s a great option for those looking to try a unique dining experience on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day.

WDW Minnie Van Service Gets Extended Hours and Rates Rise For Airport and Cruise Transport. Disney and Lyft have been partnering to bring Walt Disney World Resort guests reliable and easy transportation around the Disney Parks, and to travel to and from Orlando International Airport and Port Canaveral for the Disney Cruise Line.

The cleverly themed transportation service has recently made changes to both the Hour of Operation to and from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Port Canaveral, FL. Check out the changes below:

The Minnie Van airport ride now operates from between 6:00 AM and 11:59 PM. Hours of operation are subject to change.
The cost of the Minnie Van airport service is $155 (previously $150) each way; gratuity not included.
The cost of the Minnie Van Port Canaveral service is $249 (previously $240) each way; gratuity not included.

The Minnie Van services at Walt Disney World help Park and Resort Guests enjoy their stay even more with this convenient transportation option while visiting Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

Price increases are fairly common as operation costs increase, and the change is not nearly has horrible as some would make it sound. ‘Prince Caspian‘ and ‘The Punisher‘ Star Ben Barnes Wants To Play Flynn Rider In Live-Action ‘Tangled‘. Ben Barnes is no stranger to working with Disney, having portrayed Prince Caspian in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and as Jigsaw in Marvel’s The Punisher. The Disney Alum is very interested in playing the live-action version of Flynn Rider in the newly announced live-action Tangled remake.

Barnes shared to his twitter account after a fan pointed out the similarities between Ben Barnes and Flynn Rider, saying, “I am so up for this [Disney Studios]… even down to the little chin beard!”

The role has yet to be cast, and we are still waiting for an official announcement by Disney regarding the film, but many fans have taken online to share their “dream cast” for the film, with many fans loving the choices of Ben Barnes, Tom Holland, and Jake Gyllenhaal as top choices for Flynn Rider, with Amanda Seyfried, Dove Cameron, and Josephine Langford being shared as popular choices to play Rapunzel in the live-action remake.

'Prince Caspian' and 'The Punisher' Star Ben Barnes Wants To Play Flynn Rider In Live-Action 'Tangled'

For those who may not be familiar with the popular Disney film, Tangled is about “Princess Rapunzel who has been locked away in a tower since she was captured as a baby by Mother Gothel. Rapunzel’s magical long blonde hair has the power to provide eternal youth, and the evil Gothel uses this power to keep herself young. At the age of 18, Rapunzel becomes increasingly curious about the outside world, and when a thief uses her tower as a refuge, she asks him to help her escape her tower and explore the outside world.”

Third Annual Disney Channel Fan Fest Kicks-Off at Disneyland Resort in California on Saturday, May 9th

The third annual Disney Channel Fan Fest, a fun and uniquely Disney experience for kids and families, will kick-off at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, California, on SATURDAY, MAY 9. The event will also expand to Lake Buena Vista, Florida, during the world-renowned EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival at Walt Disney World Resort over three weekends (May 16-17, May 23-24 and May 30-31).

The fan-focused day across Disneyland Resort will feature Disney’s “QUIZney” trivia challenge; upcoming family dance competition series, “Disney Fam Jam”; learn-to-draw sessions with creators from Disney Television Animation; a sneak peek at the upcoming Disney Channel Original Movie “Upside-Down Magic”; “Descendants” and “ZOMBIES”-themed dance parties; and photo opportunities with some of Disney Channel’s biggest stars. A cavalcade down Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland Park, featuring today’s brightest young stars alongside favorite Disney characters, will be live-streamed on the Disney Parks Blog and Disney Channel YouTube.

The day’s lineup will also showcase live musical performances from various Disney Channel stars as part of Disney Channel Voices, an initiative showcasing diverse music and giving multitalented young stars a platform to express themselves and make a deeper connection with their fans.

The EPCOT Disney Channel Fan Fest pop-up weekend events will connect fans with their favorite Disney Channel stars and series via live concert performances, meet-and-greets, surprise and delight moments, animation stations, and more.

Fan Fest events at both Resorts include stars from “ZOMBIES 2,” “Gabby Duran & the Unsittables,” “Raven’s Home,” “Just Roll With It,” “Sydney to the Max,” “Coop & Cami Ask the World,” “BUNK’D,” and the upcoming “Disney Fam Jam” and “Upside-Down Magic.” The learn-to-draw sessions will feature the creative teams behind “Big City Greens,” “The Owl House,” “Amphibia” and “DuckTales.”
