‘Prince Caspian‘ and ‘The Punisher‘ Star Ben Barnes Wants To Play Flynn Rider In Live-Action ‘Tangled‘. Ben Barnes is no stranger to working with Disney, having portrayed Prince Caspian in The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian and as Jigsaw in Marvel’s The Punisher. The Disney Alum is very interested in playing the live-action version of Flynn Rider in the newly announced live-action Tangled remake.

Barnes shared to his twitter account after a fan pointed out the similarities between Ben Barnes and Flynn Rider, saying, “I am so up for this [Disney Studios]… even down to the little chin beard!”

The role has yet to be cast, and we are still waiting for an official announcement by Disney regarding the film, but many fans have taken online to share their “dream cast” for the film, with many fans loving the choices of Ben Barnes, Tom Holland, and Jake Gyllenhaal as top choices for Flynn Rider, with Amanda Seyfried, Dove Cameron, and Josephine Langford being shared as popular choices to play Rapunzel in the live-action remake.

For those who may not be familiar with the popular Disney film, Tangled is about “Princess Rapunzel who has been locked away in a tower since she was captured as a baby by Mother Gothel. Rapunzel’s magical long blonde hair has the power to provide eternal youth, and the evil Gothel uses this power to keep herself young. At the age of 18, Rapunzel becomes increasingly curious about the outside world, and when a thief uses her tower as a refuge, she asks him to help her escape her tower and explore the outside world.”
