Famous Quarterback Drew Brees paid a visit to the new Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios this weekend. He was here visiting Florida for the NFL Pro Bowl. While in Florida he was able to take some time to visit Batuu at Galaxy’s Edge. Drew rode the newest attraction Rise of the Resistance. Brees was blown away by the ride and how it transports you right into the movies. He couldn’t get over how great it was. Saying it was “one of the greatest rides I have ever been on.”
While in the Black Spire he also got into the action on the Millenium Falcon, Smugglers Run as well. He had an interactive experience with his family building droids at the Black Spire Outpost, Droid Depot. The Saints quarterback and his family also enjoyed building lightsabers at the Savi Workshop.
The Pro Bowl took place at Camping World Stadium Sunday, January 26th, 2020. It hosted many of the elite athletes from the NFL. 41-year-old star athlete has made an appearance 13 times in the pro bowl. Russel Wilson even graciously handed over the starting Quarterback spot to him this Sunday as this may be his last time playing in an NFL game. He hasn’t officially decided yet if he will play for the 20th season, but it seems he may be ready to end his 19 year NFL career.
Brees has been playing for the New Orleans Saints since 2006 and took them to victory in the 2010 Superbowl XLIV becoming the Superbowl MVP. He visited Disney World after his victory that year, with his famous ” I’m going to Disney” commercial. Drew has enjoyed frequenting the parks with his wife and four children. He has had an impressive athletic career, holding many top records in sports history. One things for certain, he will be missed on the field if he chooses to retire this year.
