They just shared the news in a post on social media.

With this weekend being a holiday weekend it is really no surprise that people want to take advantage of the extra day off and visit Universal Orlando.
Yesterday Universal Studios Florida & Islands of Adventure hit capacity at 2:52 pm.
Going on now Universal is celebrating Mardi Gras daily from Feb 6th – March 28th!

The magic awaits…the world’s largest Harry Potter Store will be opening in New York City later this year!
This will be world’s FIRST official Harry Potter flagship store in NYC! The shop is located at 935 Broadway with entrances on both Broadway and Fifth Avenue.
This incredible three-story store spans over 20,000 sq. ft and will be a hub for all of the biggest fans of the Wizarding World:
“This will be the largest dedicated Harry Potter store in the world and will become a must-visit fan destination where Harry Potter enthusiasts can engage with interactive experiences and numerous photo opportunities as they step into the magic,” said Sarah Roots, senior vice president of worldwide tours and retail for Warner Bros. “We are very excited to be opening in New York. It’s the ideal city in which to launch with so many dedicated Wizarding World fans, a cutting-edge retail environment and a community that embraces innovative experiences.”

‘WandaVision’ Beats Out ‘The Mandalorian’ for Most Popular TV Show. Marvel’s first Disney+ Original Series,WandaVision has been a hit for Marvel Studios and Disney+ since the premiere of the series and fans are in agreement that it just keeps getting better as we dive deeper into the story.
Parrot Analytics recently ran a study comparing data based on social media, fan ratings, and piracy data to determine how in-demand various entertainment titles are currently and found that WandaVision is currently the most in-demand television series around the world, unseating Star Wars The Mandalorian.
The study showed that WandaVision was heavily popular after its initial release, but the premiere of episodes 4 and 5 caused the series to shoot straight up to the #1 spot.
Insight Analyst at Parrot Analytics Wade Payson-Denney shared the correlation between prolonged popularity and release styles sharing, “When we see a binge release series like we do on Netflix [The Crown, Bridgerton, Cobra Kai, The Queen’s Gambit, Tiger King, etc], we’re seeing demand skyrocket at first for like a week. They really pop up at first but quickly trail off. It’s a quick hit for these streamers. Whereas with weekly release [like on Disney+], we see popularity gradually build over time, especially for a show like The Mandalorian and WandaVision.”

Hasbro cancels Gina Carano’s ‘Cara Dune’ action figure, amidst her recent controversial social media posts.
The Mandalorian star was fired on Wednesday, Feb. 10 after sharing a post comparing being Republican today to being Jewish during Nazi Germany.
“Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future,” a spokesperson for Lucasfilm said in a statement. “Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”
Twitter user @TheComixKid shared an email they received from BigBadToyStore about the status of the ‘Cara Dune‘ action figures:
“We have been informed by Hasbro that they have canceled production of the Star Wars: The Black Series 6” Cara Dune (The Mandalorian) and will not be fulfilling our order. Unfortunately, this means we must cancel our pre-orders for this item. We apologize for the inconvenience and greatly appreciate your understanding.”
Even amid the controversy, Gina Carano continues to develop her entertainment career and is to produce and star in an upcoming film…stay tuned for more details.

There is already a fantastic little gelateria called ”Gelati,” a small kiosk on the outskirts of the Italy pavilion that boasts lots of fun flavors. But you can NEVER have too much gelato so we’re happy to see a bigger location under construction!

Universal’s VelociCoaster may say it’s opening Summer of 2021 but the ride keeps showing details that have us ready now. The latest details are flames around the dinosaurs near the VelociCoaster sign. We reported that the raptors there were recently unwrapped and now the flames add to the ambiance of the ride.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be open daily from 10 am to 7 pm.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be open every day from 9 am to 5 pm.
These hours are pretty consistent with the rest of the hours in April but we’ve also seen hours be extended. We might see hours extended for the Easter weekend or even the Flower & Garden Festival at Epcot.
More sailings have disappeared from the Disney Cruise Line website. Recent announcements and CDC guidelines have caused Disney Cruise Line to cancel sailings through April and remove other cruises from the website.
The Canadian Government recently extended its cruise ban through February 2022. This effectively ended all Alaskan cruises. Disney Cruise Line has not officially canceled its Alaska sailings, but they have been removed from the website for booking.
We also noticed that all May cruises have been removed from Disney Cruise Line’s website as well.
All May sailings to any destination and from any port are gone from the website. Disney has not officially canceled sailings through May, but in the past sailings disappear from the website before they get suspended.
We will update if and when Disney Cruise Line makes any official announcements.

Share these tasty Minnie Mouse Cupcakes with your favorite girls! They are inspired in the 1940’s Minnie’s look with a red pillbox hat and blue polka dot skirt. Truly adorable!
These cupcakes are super easy to make with this easy recipe we have for you and make the perfect little gift for your gals. So let’s start baking:
MINNIE MOUSE CUPCAKES
INGREDIENTS:
1 box of red velvet cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 cup of oil
1 1/4 cup of water
Cream cheese frosting
1 bag of red candy melts
1/4 cup of white candy melts
1/4 cup of green candy melts
Yellow confetti sprinkles
Sanding sugar
16 mini chocolate sandwich cookies
Muffin tin
Blue polka-dot cupcake liners
Small paper drinking cup
Ruler
Marker
Baking sheet fitted with parchment paper
Toothpicks
Kitchen tweezers
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, eggs, oil and water. Spoon the batter into a muffin tin lined with blue polka dot cupcake liners. Bake according to instructions on the cake mix box. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.
Mash up 4 cupcakes into a small mixing bowl until a dough is formed. If the dough is too dry, add a bit of frosting to the mixture. Scoop out 2 tablespoons of the dough, roll into a ball, then cut each ball in half. Dip each halved cake ball into the red candy melts. Tap off any excess melts, then place onto a baking sheet fitted with parchment paper.
While the melts are still setting, insert a toothpick into one side of the domed round. Allow to dry completely.
Use a ruler and marker to mark up the sides of drinking cup by 3/4″. Use scissors to cut around the cup so that the entire circumference is 3/4″ up the sides of the cup.
Spoon 2 tablespoon of the warmed melts into the cup mold. Tilt the melts around to completely coat the inside of the mold and up the sides. Allow to dry completely and unmold. Use a dab of the red melts to attach a dipped half cake ball into the center of the molded tart shell.
Melt the white and green candy melts. Create the daisies by using toothpicks to draw small daisies onto parchment paper. Allow to dry completely, then flip over. Also use toothpicks to draw the green flower stems. Before the stems completely dry, attach a completed daisy onto the top end of each stem.
Allow to dry completely. Use a dab of white melts to attach a yellow confetti sprinkle in the center of each daisy.
With a twisting motion, remove the toothpick from Minnie’s hat. Use kitchen tweezers to insert the stem of a completed daisy into the small hole. Tiny dabs of leftover red melts can be used as glue to secure the daisy to the hat.
Frost the cupcakes. Sprinkle a little sanding sugar atop the frosting. Place 1 mini sandwich cookie on each side of the cupcake as Minnie’s ears. Top the cupcake with Minnie’s vintage daisy hat and enjoy.

HBO Max Confirms Live-Action ‘Harry Potter‘ Series is in the Works. Harry Potter fans have been on edge to hear any news regarding the Harry Potter live-action series rumored to be in development for HBO Max.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, HBO/HBO Max Chief Content Officer Casey Bloys shared that there is a huge push for more Harry Potter content, like the rumored series, but ultimately said there are no concrete plans… yet.
Bloys shared, “There are no deals in place. There are no writers. There’s nothing. So I can’t add anything to what everybody’s already speculating about. However, to your question… do I want to Harry Potter series? Of course, I would take more Harry Potter. That would be great. But there’s nothing to add.”
It should be noted, we shouldn’t be prepping for a magical premiere party quite yet, but the series is on HBO Max’s wish list, and may be on the way in the near future. This is a developing story so be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Harry Potter!
