Part-pill bug, part-pug, part-high speed off-road vehicle and all adorable, Tuk Tuk has been Raya’s best friend since she could hold him in the palm of her hand. As part of the experience, you’ll see a behind-the-scenes look at the inspiration for Tuk Tuk shared by Kelly Marie Tran (voice of Raya) and Awkwafina (voice of Sisu).
Also, at Discovery Island Stage, artists will be working on a 40-ton sand sculpture celebrating the new film. The display will feature Raya, Tuk Tuk, Sisu the last dragon and the Ongi, all set in the fantasy world of Kumandra. It takes a team of two talented artists over 24 hours to build and carve the display made entirely from sand. Guests will have the opportunity to watch the artisans at work February 19 through 21 and the carving will remain on display at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for a limited time through the end of March.

New Set Photos Featured Hailee Steinfeld Taking Aim as Kate Bishop. Marvel Fans are excited to see the MCU debut of Kate Bishop, the protege of founding Avengers member, Clint Barton aka Hawkeye.
A new photo featuring Hailee Steinfeld in the role of Kate Bishop popped up on Instagram this week and has fans are continuing to share their excitement for the upcoming Marvel Studios Disney+ Original Series.
“I’m just so excited. As I’m in the process of developing her, I’m working with some incredible filmmakers that are helping me bring her to life,” Steinfeld shared with ET. “I can’t wait for people just to see how we are interpreting this character through the comics and in her own sort of ways. She’s such a badass, there’s no denying that. She’s so smart and witty and quick and her physical ability to do so many things is through the roof. It’s really tested me and it’s kept me going through quarantine, I will say, it’s given me a reason to stay with it. But I’m very excited as I continue developing her to see sort of how we come up with it all.”

Amber Heard Rumored to be “In Talks” with Disney for Live-Action ‘Tangled’ Remake. Disney Fans are not happy after hearing that Johnny Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard has reportedly been in contact with Disney regarding the upcoming live-action Tangled remake.
The scoop comes from insider Daniel Richtman who shared that Amber Heard and her representatives have spoken to Disney regarding a role in the film. Likely eyeing the lead role as Rapunzel if we had to take a guess.
Heard and Depp are currently in several major legal battles in both the US and UK regarding accusations of abuse on both sides throughout their tremulous and toxic relationship. The accusations alone have caused a stir in the career of Depp, having been dropped by Disney in the role of Captain Jack Sparrow and Warner Bros. as Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts franchise.
Needless to say, Johnny Depp is a Disney fan favorite actor with his iconic roles as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and as the Mad Hatter in the live-action Alice in Wonderland films, so the news that Amber Heard may be joining the cast of an upcoming Disney film is garnishing mixed reactions from fans online.

Universal Orlando Resort has released a brand new feature on their mobile app. “Universal Pay” allows guests to visiting the resort to have contactless payment with the app. You’ll enter a credit or debit card in the tab within Universal’s app and can pay with your phone. The app will populate a QR code for team members to scan when buying items.
The option for Universal Pay is in the Universal app under “My Wallet”. This is different than just having your credit/debit card saved to the app for mobile orders. It will say Universal Pay.
To help with your budget on vacation Universal Pay also has a section where you can set spending limits per day.
This new feature on the Universal mobile app works at Universal Orlando locations but not at third-party retailers. We are all about making transactions safe and simple.

It may not be space cadet training, but learning fitness helps.
Pixar made an amusing Instagram post for going “To Fitness and Beyond with Buzz Lightyear.”
You can see the cartoon short that inspired this joke on “Pixar Popcorn”, which is available on Disney+. Pixar Popcorn is a collection of ten mini-shorts starting your favorite Pixar characters. You’ll see shorts on characters from Soul, Cars, Toy Story, Coco, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles.

Cinderella Medley by Todrick Hall and Brandy is Full of Magic. One of the most requested titles since the launch of Disney+ has been Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella starring Brandy in the title role with Whitney Houston as “Fairy Godmother” alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Victor Garber, Natalie Desselle Reid, Bernadette Peters, Paolo Montalban, Jason Alexander, and Veanne Cox. The special was finally added to the streaming service on February and fans have been enjoying the revitalized interest in this musical rendition of the classic fairytale. One such fan includes celebrity content creator, composer and choreographer Todrick Hall.
In celebration of the Disney+ debut for Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Hall starred alongside Brandy to create a musical medley based on the iconic musical. In “Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella,” when Cinderella’s cruel stepmother prevents her from attending the Royal Ball, she gets some unexpected help from her Fairy Godmother. The 1997 movie was directed by Robert Iscove, written by Robert I. Freedman, and choregraphed by Rob Marshall. Whitney Houston, Debra Martin Chase, Craig Zadan, and Neil Meron served as Executive Producers. Chris Montan was a Producer and Robyn Crawford was an Associate Producer.

You can now commemorate your visit to the Contemporary Resort with a cute new Tervis Tumbler. This adorable new Contemporary Resort Tumbler features Mickey and Minnie, looking oh so sweet.
The fun teal tumbler has a cute stylized design of Mickey and Minnie sitting at the Contemporary. Fireworks burst over the pair, with the logo written in yellow above a red silhouette of the resort.
The welcome to Walt Disney World sign is now complete on Osceola Parkway. Over the weekend Disney finished painting and adding “The Most Magical Place on Earth” to the sign.
The refurbishment of the Disney World signs is in preparation for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration.
Yesterday Chevrolet revealed the new, all-electric 2022 Bolt EUV and redesigned Bolt EV in a special, 90-second commercial titled Magic is Electric created in collaboration with Disney. Chevy also released Behind the Magic, a “making-of” video that uses behind-the-scenes footage to explain the features of the Bolt EUV in a fun and entertaining way.
“The power of two iconic brands like Disney and Chevy coming together to reveal the Bolt EUV inspires customers to imagine an all-electric future,” said Steve Majoros, vice president of Chevrolet Marketing. “We want to engage and inform consumers about all the benefits of owning an EV and do it in an entertaining way. These vehicles are fun to drive, loaded with technology and are affordable, proving EVs are for everyone.”
Both Magic is Electric and Behind the Magic were shot in part on location at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The commercial will make its network debut during ABC’s American Idol, which premieres its new season Sunday, Feb. 14 from 8-10 p.m. EST, and Bolt EUV will be integrated into SportsCenter’s “Magical Moment” segments on Feb. 15-19 on ESPN.

To bring the full story to life, Chevy and Disney created several pieces of content. In the 90-second commercial, a series of friends and families bring the magic of electric to life while traveling to Walt Disney World Resort with a cast of iconic characters, including Tinker Bell, Haunted Mansion’s Hitchhiking Ghosts, a Star Wars X-Wing Fighter, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and more. These beloved Disney icons help demonstrate Bolt EUV’s performance, larger size and tech features like Super Cruise1 and HD rear camera mirror. The campaign creative will be featured on Chevrolet’s social media platforms and across other digital broadcast properties, including www.chevrolet.com.
Chevy also collaborated with Nick Cho, aka @YourKoreanDad on TikTok, to walk viewers through a unique, behind-the-scenes look at Chevy and Disney’s content collaboration on the commercial. Behind the Magic also serves to provide in-depth vehicle feature information for the Bolt EUV and Bolt EV and includes reactions from current Bolt EV owners, who talk about how switching to electric has made their lives better. As part of its marketing plan for Bolt EUV and Bolt EV, Chevy will amplify the reveal with the commercial spot and various shorter versions airing across Disney-owned broadcast properties, on charging station digital billboards, and in other targeted placements across a wide variety of owned and paid social channels.
The reveal of the Bolt EUV and Bolt EV is the latest collaboration between Chevrolet and Disney. In the 1940s, General Motors commissioned Walt Disney and his studio to create an animated training film. In 1979, the company signed an agreement with Disney to become the first attraction sponsor at EPCOT prior to EPCOT’s grand opening in 1982. The GM pavilion – World of Motion presented by General Motors – was an opening day attraction, which ran from 1982 until Jan. 2,1996. Test Track presented by General Motors opened May 17, 1999 and operated until April 12, 2012.
Today, guests can experience the creative energy between these two brands firsthand at EPCOT through Test Track presented by Chevrolet, a popular and thrilling attraction that was imagined by the creative teams of Walt Disney Imagineering in collaboration with Chevrolet Design. Test Track presented by Chevrolet opened Dec. 6, 2012.
The 2022 Bolt EUV expands Chevy’s EV lineup beyond the Bolt EV, which has been on sale since 2016. Larger and sportier, the Bolt EUV is the first Chevrolet equipped with Super Cruise1 technology, the industry’s first true hands-free driver assistance system for compatible roads. Walt Disney World Resort vacation stays no longer include complimentary Magic Bands. Guests now have to pay for Magic Bands if they want them. Recently, new pre-arrival Magic Band designs have shown up on the Disney World website.
In honor of the famous phrase Super Bowl winners yell, there is a new “I’m Going to Disney World!” Magic Band. It is red with the Disney World theme park icons and is available for $20.
Another new Magic Band is a Fantasyland themed band. It is pink with icons from some of our favorite Fantasyland attractions. How cute is that? It is also available for $20.
How cool is this new Marvel Avengers Magic Band? Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Black Panther, and other favorite superheroes can be seen on this band. It is available for $15.

Valentine’s Day is here! Treat your special someone with these adorable Wall-E cookies!
They are both sweet and salty, a perfect combination in our opinion. Plus they are super easy to make! We have a special recipe so you can make them at home, surprise your valentine and spend a cozy night watching Wall-E on DisneyPlus!
WALL-E COOKIES
INGREDIENTS:
Batch of chilled sugar cookie dough (homemade or store bought)
Rolling pin
Flour
Wax paper
Kitchen knife
Baking sheet
Spatula
Wire cooling rack
White cookie icing
Butter knife
Chocolate candy melts
Chocolate M&M’s candies
Small microwavable bowl
Toothpick
Small round pretzels
INSTRUCTIONS:
Heat the oven to the specified temperature for the cookie dough. Meanwhile, print and cut out the template pieces.
Roll out the dough on a floured sheet of wax paper to 1/4 inch thickness and then use the template and kitchen knife to cut out a bunch of Wall-E eyes (both left and right).
Bake the cookies according to the recipe directions and then transfer them to the wire rack to cool completely.
Working with one cookie eye at a time, frost the surface with white cookie icing, and gently press a candy melt in place for the iris. Next, use a blob of cookie icing to “glue” a chocolate M&M’s candy atop the candy melt.
Melt a few chocolate Candy Melts in a microwavable bowl, heating them for 10 to 15 seconds intervals until they are soft enough to stir into a smooth consistency. Use the tip of a toothpick dipped in the melted chocolate to add three “rivets” to each eye.
Use more of the melted chocolate to stick each completed pair of Wall-E eyes to the top of the pretzel.
