Great news for Orlando area! An upscale Chicago-based bowling-restaurant chain is soon opening a location in Orlando. Pinstripes offers great food, bar, bowling, and bocce. The kitchen has Bistro offerings on the menu and everyone can have a fun time with bocce.
Pinstripes has signed a lease for a 28,000 square foot commercial site in Vineyard Pointe. The location is between International Drive and Walt Disney World Resort.
The Pinstripes locations in Illinois are wonderful establishments, so we are eager to see the company opening an Orlando site! It’s a great place to dine, grab a drink, and partake in bowling or bocce with friends. We’re sure it’ll be a big hit for guests in Florida.

Today is the kickoff of Disney’s Ultimate Princess Celebration! Disney is celebrating our heroes and spotlighting the courage and kindness they meet with every challenge. We are celebrating the valiant acts and stories of personal triumph that Disney princesses embody. Let’s take a look at how we can celebrate these princesses at the Disney parks.
We start this tour with a look at Disneyland park’s only ride-through Princess attraction, Snow White’s Enchanted Wish – which will be ready to welcome guests when the park reopens April 30. Imagineers have updated this classic Fantasyland attraction with new magic inside and out. Using state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, including new music, LED black lighting, laser projections and a new animation system, the attraction brings to life Snow White’s “happily ever after.” Here, we flip through the pages of the story that “started it all,” and land on one particular scene that hasn’t yet been shared!
For our Hong Kong Disneyland stop of the tour, of course we have to include the Castle of Magical Dreams, unveiled for the resort’s 15th anniversary. Inspired by the 13 courageous stories of Disney Princesses and Queens, the Castle stands proudly as the centerpiece of Hong Kong Disneyland – a symbol of courage, hope, and possibility. For a behind-the-scenes look at the Castle of Magical Dreams, we have to check out Building a Dream: The Magic Behind a Disney Castle. This brand-new exhibition takes us from concept to reality, showing the tools and techniques used in Imagineering’s creative process for developing the new Castle design.
Jumping over to the east coast, in Florida, we now visit Walt Disney World Resort, where some of our favorite Disney Princess characters kindly greet guests in a cavalcade around Magic Kingdom Park. Wave hello to Jasmine, Tiana, Cinderella, and more, as you watch the regal procession go by.
The next stop on our global tour is Shanghai Disney Resort, where “ILLUMINATE! A Nighttime Celebration” will take us on an exciting journey, inspiring us to break through the darkness and adversity—just as Mulan, Rapunzel, Anna, and Elsa did—and see the light! Through seven unique chapters, the stunning visual story delivers a message of perseverance and courage, inspiring guests to hold onto the light that exists within all of us and trust it to see them through.
We have now come to Disneyland Paris, where we find a beautiful statue of Cinderella, who truly exemplifies kindness. She faced a great deal of adversity and challenges in her life, but she always persevered with courage, and this statue is a beautiful symbol of that. Also in Disneyland Paris, there is now a new selfie spot where guests can see Queen Anna & Snow Queen Elsa. These sisters go on courageous adventures and treat all of the residents of Arendelle with pure kindness. Snap a photo with the Queens that you can take home to last a lifetime.
How will you celebrate Disney’s Ultimate Princess Celebration?

Everyone loves ice cream right? Add a touch of butterbeer to it and it automatically becomes magical!
If you have ever been to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort or Universal Studios Hollywood, you must have seen this delicious treat. If you haven’t try it yet, you definitely should on your next visit, it’s yummy!
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the brown sugar and water. Bring to a gentle boil and cook, stirring often, until the mixture reads 240F on a candy thermometer.
Stir in butter, salt, vinegar, and 1/4 heavy cream.
Set aside to cool to room temperature. Once the mixture has cooled, stir in the rum extract.
Now prepare the ice cream base: Whisk the two eggs in a separate bowl about two minutes, then add the sugar somewhat slowly.
Add the milk and cream and make sure everything is combined.
Freeze according to your ice cream maker instructions, then after about half an hour or when it is mostly solid, pour the butterbeer syrup into the mix and let it fold in.
After it’s pretty solid, it’s ready to eat or be stored.

For those who have been keeping up with the Stitch Crashes Disney Little Mermaid Collection we have some sad news to report today.
According to a new graphic on the ShopDisney Website the Stitch Crashes Disney Little Mermaid Collection is now set to release on May 14th, this is the 2nd time the date has been pushed.
Just last week we reported it would be coming on April 26th, but nothing showed up on the ShopD website yesterday.
Also shared on the ShopDisney site the Stitch Crashes Disney Pinocchio will not be released in stores here in the US. Not really sure what is going on with this collection. It might have to do with Disney Store closing so many shops all over the US and Canada.
Great news! Disney’s MagicMobile is now available for Android Users!
Beginning today, guests at Walt Disney World Resort on Android devices will be able to enjoy a convenient and contactless new option for entering the theme parks and more, as part of the rollout of Disney MagicMobile service!
I have a Samsung Note and wanted to set up my pass and after being ridiculed by all of my Apple User friends I am glad I am able to finally get this setup.
Setup took me all but 10 seconds you just follow the prompts and you are done. I had a harder time trying to decide which theme I wanted for my Disney World Annual Pass.
They have a ton of design choices you can choose from.
I ended up picking the Disney Vacation Club design cause why not I am paying for it 🙂
You may use Disney MagicMobile service, a MagicBand or a card interchangeably for added flexibility. Disney Resort hotel guests can purchase MagicBands at a special, pre-arrival price. Guests can also pick up a Key to the World card at their convenience at the front desk.
