Disney has confirmed that Disenchanted, a sequel to Enchanted, will be coming to Disney+! Amy Adams will also be returning for this sequel.
Disney posted to Twitter:
“Disenchanted, a sequel to the hit film Enchanted, will stream exclusively on @DisneyPlus. Amy Adams returns for more fantastical fun as Giselle!”
Enchanted was a hybrid live-action animated film that debuted in 2007. The official description reads:
“A young maiden in a land called Andalasia, who is prepared to be wed, is sent away to New York City by an evil Queen, where she falls in love with a lawyer.”
We already knew that a sequel would be coming to Disney+ but now we know that Amy Adams will be returning as Giselle. This is very exciting news for Enchanted fans!
There’s no news on what other actors might be returning for the sequel.
