‘Disenchanted‘ to Begin Filming in Ireland this Spring. According to Production Weekly, Disney is scheduled to begin filming for Disenchanted in Spring 2021. Pending any changes due to health and safety restrictions, the Enchanted sequel will start filming in Ireland. The cast and crew are expected to quarantine upon arrival before production begins.
Both Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey are set to return in their roles as Giselle and Robert Phillips for the sequel. Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz are co-composing music for Disenchanted under the direction of director Adam Shankman and Brigette Hales penning the script.
It is currently unknown when Disenchanted will premiere or if Idina Menzel and James Marsden will be returning as well. Disney has confirmed the film will premiere exclusively on Disney+. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Disney!
