Fans online were upset that the show featuring Stacey was no longer available at the Disney World Resort Hotels. This show is played for guests to introduce all of what Walt Disney World has to offer. Can you believe it has been running for the past 15 years?!
For those who haven’t been to a Disney World Resort Hotel in a while you can check the most recent version out below:
Today Host Stacey J. Aswad shared this touching message to her fans on her Facebook page.
It reads:
From the bottom of my heart, thank you all for 15 years of unforgettable magic! I’m truly honored to be a part of your happiest times. I treasure the love and kindness you’ve always shown me. The memories we’ve shared will last a lifetime, so grateful. Thank you! Love you all!
I know for me personally when I get to the Disney World Hotel Room that has always been the first thing I have put on as it makes me feel like I am home.
We are hopeful that maybe Stacey might return someday to Disney World Resort Television but until then we thank her for all the memories!
Disney balloons are perfect as souvenirs for many theme park guests. There’s something idyllic about strolling around Walt Disney World with a floating Mickey Mouse balloon (of any color!) or your favorite Disney Princess. We didn’t think there was a way to improve the experience until we saw the latest balloon in Disney Springs. It features Princess Jasmine!
The special Jasmine balloon has two different images for each side. You can see Jasmine striking a dynamic pose while riding the Magic Carpet! Meanwhile, the flip side has her sitting with an image of Agrabah in the background. The balloon costs $14.00 and is also available at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.
You can take a closer look at the Jasmine balloon on our Instagram post below. Also, you can find a wide variety of other balloon options! What are some of your favorite Disney balloons?
Be sure to look for the Princess Jasmine balloon the next time you visit Disney Springs! It makes a great souvenir for those who love the Aladdin movie!

Directors Announced for ‘The Book of Boba Fett‘ Stars Wars Series Coming to Disney+. Series star Temuera Morrison has shared several directors who will be featured in the first season of The Book of Boba Fett (TBOBF). The series will feature the titular bounty hunter Boba Fett (Temuera Morrison), along with his newfound ally Fennec Shand (Ming-Na Wen), and follow the timeline of The Mandalorian series.
Morrison shared several familiar directors will be joining the new Star Wars series during a recent interview, stating: “We’ve got some great directors onboard – Robert Rodriguez, [Jon] Favreau, Bryce [Dallas Howard], Dave Filoni. It’s just a new world! It’s a new world. They like to keep the Star Wars stuff under [lock and] key.”
Though there will likely be additional directors added to the list as post-production moves forward, Rodriguez (TBOBF Executive Producer), Favreau, Howard, and Filoni were all active on the set of The Mandalorian, and their involvement as directors for the first spin-off series makes total sense. There is also room for new directors to join the production team giving the series a chance to make its own mark on the Star Wars Universe. A release date for the series has yet to be shared, but the series is expected to premiere before the end of 2021.

Security Footage from Monsters, Inc. Gives Us a Closer Look at the Characters of ‘Monsters at Work’. Monsters at Work is the latest series to premiere on Disney+, and Pixar fans are already loving the series potential! To remind fans of the premiere and give audiences a closer look at the cast of Monsters at Work, Disney+ has shared a “live feed” of security footage from Monsters, Inc.
“Monsters At Work” takes place the day after the Monsters, Incorporated power plant started harvesting the laughter of children to fuel the city of Monstropolis, thanks to Mike and Sulley’s discovery that laughter generates ten times more energy than screams. It follows the story of Tylor Tuskmon, an eager young monster who graduated top of his class at Monsters University and always dreamed of becoming a Scarer until he lands a job at Monsters, Incorporated, and discovers that scaring is out and laughter is in. After Tylor is temporarily reassigned to the Monsters, Inc. Facilities Team (MIFT), he must work alongside a misfit bunch of mechanics while setting his sights on becoming a Jokester.
Ben Feldman stars as the voice of Tylor Tuskmon, alongside other new cast members including Mindy Kaling as Val Little, Henry Winkler as Fritz, Lucas Neff as Duncan and Alanna Ubach as Cutter. Billy Crystal and John Goodman reprise their beloved roles as Mike Wazowski and James P. “Sulley” Sullivan. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for updates and all things Disney+!
Disney on Broadway to Host Live Benefit Concert for The Actors Fund. Live at The New Am: A Benefit Concert for The Actors Fund, celebrating the reopening of Broadway’s New Amsterdam Theatre and honoring the remarkable support that The Actors Fund has provided to members of the entertainment industry throughout the pandemic, will treat audiences to the most-beloved hit songs from Disney’s Broadway shows – including “Beauty and the Beast,” “A Whole New World,” “Circle of Life” and “Let it Go” – as performed by Disney on Broadway stars Ashley Brown (Mary Poppins), Michael James Scott (Aladdin), Kissy Simmons (The Lion King) and Josh Strickland (Tarzan). The concert plays four performances July 22-24 at 7:30 and July 25 at 2.
“For 16 months, New Yorkers have been eager to start going to the theatre again,” said Thomas Schumacher, President & Producer Disney Theatrical Productions. “The Lion King and Aladdin return to Broadway in September, but these four concerts allow us to welcome fans back to Broadway even sooner and give us a chance to raise much-needed funds to support the heroic work being done by the remarkable staff at The Actors Fund. We cannot wait to return to the exhilaration of musical theatre. For the first time in forever, we actually can.”
In celebration of this announcement, tonight (July 7 at 8 pm ET), Ashley Brown, Michael James Scott, Kissy Simmons and Josh Strickland will appear on Stars In The House, Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley’s live talk show that has raised more than $1 million to benefit The Actors Fund. Viewers can tune in at StarsInTheHouse.com to watch, donate to The Actors Fund and possibly have their donations read live on air by the special guests.
The Actors Fund has been extraordinarily active during the pandemic, providing more than 16,450 entertainment professionals with grants totaling more than $22 million just since the shutdown last March 2020, a remarkable increase of more than 1000% over its typical grant support prior to the pandemic.
“Over the past 25 years, the casts, crews, and staff of Disney Theatrical Productions have been such valued members of The Actors Fund extended family,” said Joseph Benincasa, President, and CEO of The Actors Fund. “Their unwavering partnership has helped promote and support our many programs and services that provide vital assistance for our performing arts and entertainment colleagues, who are in need now more than ever. Being part of the reopening celebration of The New Amsterdam Theatre with these special concerts means that even more people will be able to get the help they need.”
Aladdin star Michael James Scott said, “There aren’t enough adjectives to describe how excited and honored I am to get be part of this historic reopening of Broadway and the legendary New Amsterdam Theatre. Cool off with this Coca-Cola Orange Cream Float at Disney Springs. Without a doubt, one of the weirdest things I have done in my life was deciding to hang out at Disney Springs during a Hurricane. Not without a reason though! While the humidity was going up, and rain bands were coming through the central Florida area, Flavors of Florida needed some exploring.
What else is there to drink when it is hot and humid and you are on vacation? Coke, with a Creamsicle bar and vanilla ice cream. Coca-Cola Orange Cream Float is available as part of Disney Springs Flavors of Florida until august 12 for $12.00. Not only does this Coke come with a creamsicle bar in it, but the cup comes with it. They even give you a bag to take the cup home without it making a mess. Furthermore, that creamsicle bar was extra frozen. The bar did not melt right away! They must keep it in a deep freezer prior to serving.
I had never thought of dipping an ice cream bar into my Coke prior to yesterday, but now it may turn into my new favorite, over a rootbeer float. Additionally, it is a stunning view and enjoyable, sitting on the rooftop beverage bar. What a great spot to take a break after shopping all afternoon. Also, the rooftop bar is covered for the most part and keeps you dry.
Unwind with family and friends high above the bustle! Enjoy amazing views while quenching your thirst with refreshing Coca-Cola, frozen beverages, smoothies, Coke floats, and assorted international drinks. Or, discover new favorites with these inventive tasting options:
Freestyle Experience Sample up to 5 refills (within an hour of initial purchase) or blend any of the 100 self-serve choices to create new flavors.
Create-Your-Own Beverage Experience Play mixologist—muddle fresh ingredients to craft your own delicious concoctions.
Tastes Around the World Try up to 16 different beverages from various countries when ordering an International, Float or Combo tray.
Stop by each evening to check out our menu of specialty adult libations—including a wide variety of handcrafted cocktails, smoothies, and flights. Alcohol will only be served to Guests 21 and older with a valid ID.
If you love Key Lime Pie you will love this new Donut at Everglazed Donut in Disney Springs. Flavors of Florida started today at DIsney Springs and we couldn’t be more excited to try some of the new treats and snacks. Orange flavors are all over the Springs, moreover, Key Lime flavors have joined the crowd! Importantly, Everglazed Donuts and Cold Brew have added the new Key Lime Pie donut.
Key Lime Pie Donut is a glazed donut filled with citrus custard, piped with sweet meringue, and sprinkled with tendrils of lime zest. Available until August 12th for the price of $6.50. We had a chance to get over to Disney Springs this morning before Hurricane Elsa became too bad. Clearly, we have nothing but good things to say about this donut. The custard has a wonderful citrus taste that is not overly powerful. The lime zest adds that extra back of the throat pucker up lemon mouth taste and is so good.
Discover hand-crafted confections. Featuring mouthwatering yeast and cake donuts with an assortment of cold brew pick-me-ups. Also a few sweet-yet-savory sandwiches. Immerse yourself in a complete donut experience as you gaze through the windows of the Everglazed working show kitchen where the humble donut is fried, glazed, and piled high with a rainbow of toppings.
