
Stage Adaptation of Coco is coming to Broadway
We may soon see Miguel performing on Broadway! During a recent live performance of the Disney on Broadway series at EPCOT, it was announced that Disney is working on a staged version of the animated musical for Broadway.
Before the performance of Broadway alum Mandy Gonzalez, L. Steven Taylor took to the stage to announce that “Coco is now in development at Disney on Broadway to become a live stage show.”

No further dates or projections were announced when the show would debut. Following the news, Mandy Gonzalez sang “Remember Me” from the animated film. Coco will make an outstanding addition to the lineup of productions from Disney on Broadway.

Coco is a 2017 animated film produced by Pixar Animation Studios. It follows the story of a 12-year-old boy named Miguel who travels to the Land of the Dead, where he connects with his long-lost grandfather to return the joy of music to his family.
