There’s nothing quite as American as eating a hamburger. Not that you need an excuse to eat one, but National Burger Day is coming up! Disney Parks are ready to help you make the most of this important occasion, which falls on May 28th. Start taking notes so you’ll be ready to try the best burgers from Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort!
Starting at Disneyland park, Hungry Bear Restaurant is a great stop for a burger! The Chili Mac Cheeseburger has homestyle chili, mac & cheese bites, American cheese, and fried onions on it. An enjoyable plant-based option from the Red Rose Taverne is the Beast Breakfast Burger. It’s a 1/3 lb Angus patty, with bacon-orange marmalade, egg, and arugula on a toasted bun.

Over at Disney California Adventure park, Smokejumpers Grill is serving a Chipotle BBQ Bacon Double Cheeseburger featuring two Angus beef patties, smoked provolone, bacon, and chipotle BBQ sauce. Lamplight Lounge has a Pastrami-spiced IMPOSSIBLE Burger for our vegan friends. It starts with a seasoned patty and has dairy-free American cheese, pastrami-spiced pineapple, house-made pickles, and mustard aioli on toasted focaccia.
Head to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa to find the Craftsman Grill. They are serving a Mediterranean Wagyu Burger, which has an American wagyu patty, tzatziki sauce, and a red onion-feta salad on an herb bun. At the Disneyland Hotel, you can order an Angus 1/2 lb Hawaiian Cheeseburger.

Downtown Disney District has great options too! Black Tap Burgers & Shakes is serving a Wagyu Steakhouse Burger with wagyu beef, pepper jack cheese, bacon, crispy onions, A1 sauce, and roasted garlic mayo. Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen has the Bourbon Street BTLA Burger made of certified Angus beef, applewood smoked bacon, fried green tomatoes, avocado, smoked gouda cheese, and a sweet onion spread served with a spicy remoulade slaw. This one is only there for National Burger Day!
Over at Walt Disney World, in Magic Kingdom Park, The Main Street Burger at The Plaza Restaurant and the 1/3 lb Angus Bacon Cheeseburger from Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café are worthy burgers. The Main Street Burger is an all-beef patty topped with cheddar, house-made bacon, a sunny-side-up egg, beer-battered onion ring, and roasted poblano-mayonnaise served on a Kaiser bun. The 1/3 lb Angus Bacon Cheeseburger is a flame-broiled burger with bacon, American cheese, lettuce, and tomato on a brioche bun.

Options at EPCOT include the Regal Eagle Barbecue Jackfruit Burger: a plant-based burger topped off with barbecue jackfruit. The new Connections Eatery is serving the French Bistro Burger, a gourmet burger blend with caramelized onions, bacon, brie, mushroom, and Dijon mayonnaise on a toasted brioche bun.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ iconic Sci-Fi Dine-In is serving the Pork on Pork Burger, starting June 2. A grilled house-made pork patty is topped with roasted pork belly, white sharp cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, cabbage slaw, and a house-made Carolina mustard sauce. A plant-based option from ABC Commissary is the California Burger: a grilled plant-based burger, grilled portobello mushroom, cashew-mozzarella, garlic-tomato “aioli,” nut-free pesto, lettuce, and tomato.
Restaurantosaurus at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park has a couple of burgers: the 1/3 lb Bacon Cheeseburger and the IMPOSSIBLE Spicy Southwestern Burger, a plant-based burger patty with “pepper jack,” and chipotle sauce.
D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs is a great spot for a burger any day of the year, but especially on National Burger Day! There will be enhanced menu items like the Classic Cheeseburger with two pressed signature-blend patties, with cheddar cheese, topped off with the signature 1921 sauce. There’s also the Barbecue Burger, with two pressed signature-blend patties topped with a fried onion ring, Muenster cheese, bacon, barbecue sauce, and lettuce. The burger buns are all made in-house at Amorette’s Patisserie.

Resorts at Walt Disney World are also celebrating with their take on the classic sandwich. Disney’s All-Star Movies’ World Premiere Food Court is serving the Showstopper Burger, which is topped with a bacon-onion jam, cheddar, provolone, jalapeño, and crispy onions on a toasted brioche bun. The Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort has the Blues Burger with blue cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, and garlic aïoli on a toasted brioche bun. Disney’s All-Star Resorts has the Bases Loaded Burger at the End Zone Food Court. You’ll find it at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort. It’s a grilled signature-blend burger with fresh mozzarella.
At Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Landscape of Flavors is serving the Benedict Burger with Canadian bacon, fried egg, and hollandaise sauce.
Centertown Market at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort uses a toasted coconut curry aioli, lime jalapeño jam, fried tostones, and arugula in a tropical burger called the Swashbuckler Burger. The Poppin’ Pimento Burger at Everything POP Shopping & Dining at Disney’s Pop Century Resort features a grilled signature-blend burger topped with bacon, pimento cheese, and cheddar.
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort French Quarter has some great burgers too. Sassagoula Floatworks and Food Factory have the Baton Rouge Burger topped with fried green tomatoes, pimento cheese, spicy remoulade, and bacon. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort Riverside is serving the Bayou Amber Ale Burger at Riverside Mill Food Court: a burger topped with spicy shredded prime rib and an amber ale cheese sauce on a toasted brioche bun.
The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort has the Mac & Cheese Burger from The Chuck Wagon: an Angus cheeseburger, fried mac & cheese, bacon, smoked gouda, and Carolina mustard barbecue sauce.
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort also has an offering this National Burger Day. Wind & Waves Grill is serving the Vero Beach Signature Burger, with sweet barbeque pork, bacon jam, sriracha coleslaw, beer-battered onion ring, and a fried egg on a “turtle” bun.
