While the park will be alive with visual and performing arts, the true stars of the show are the Food Studios—where every plate is a canvas and every bite is a work of art!

Enhanced Rhine River Cruise

In 2027 you can enjoy an enhanced Rhine River Cruise experience, with even more magic incorporated into this favorite itinerary. As part of the enhanced itinerary, guests will be able to explore the picturesque village of Equisheim, France, which helped inspired Beauty and the Beast. An optional day-long excursion to Lucerne, Switzerland is also now available. Guests who choose to add on this excursion will wander through Lucerne’s Old Town, explore natural wonders at Glacier Garden, or take a scenic bike ride to Neuf-Brisach, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

New Munich Escape

In 2027, extend your trip with the new three-day/two night Munich Escape. Explore the heart of Bavaria with experiences including a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, which inspired Sleeping Beauty Castle and Disneyland. This escape is the perfect add-on to an Adventures by Disney Danube River Cruise, or a quick way to experience the unique region in a limited time-frame.

The incident occurred on the evening of June 8, 2025, at Disney Springs, when the guest, identified in the lawsuit as Kevin Duncan, was eating a steak and reportedly began choking on a piece of food while seated at the restaurant.

According to the filing, family members and friends attempted to help by performing the Heimlich maneuver and other measures. The lawsuit alleges that restaurant staff contacted on-site security rather than immediately calling 911, which the family claims caused a delay in emergency medical services being dispatched. Court records state that Duncan suffered severe hypoxia, went into cardiac arrest, and was transported to a hospital where he was placed on a ventilator. He died the following day.

The family’s lawsuit accuses the restaurant of negligence and wrongful death, asserting that choking is a foreseeable medical emergency in a dining setting and that staff should have had clear policies and training in place, including promptly contacting emergency responders. The filing seeks a jury trial and damages permitted under Florida law. At this time, the allegations outlined in the lawsuit have not been ruled on by a court, and no determination of fault has been made.
