Universal Orlando Now Casting Performers for Holiday Parade Featuring Macy’s
The stockings are officially being hung at Universal Orlando Resort… at least behind the scenes. Universal has posted a new casting call for performers to join this year’s Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s, which returns to Universal Studios Florida from November 14, 2026 through January 3, 2027.

The seasonal spectacular, known for its giant Macy’s balloons, festive floats, and appearances from characters like the Minions, Shrek, and Santa Claus, is currently seeking dancers, character performers, stilt walkers, and puppeteers to help bring the holiday magic to life.
According to the audition posting, interested performers must submit applications by 11:59 p.m. EST on May 18. Those selected will need to be available for rehearsals from mid-October through mid-November, with performances running throughout the holiday season.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Current Universal Orlando Team Members are also eligible to audition if they have completed at least six months in their current role and maintain a minimum of eight attendance credits.

Universal previously confirmed the return of both Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring Macy’s and the fan-favorite Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular for the 2026 holiday season, continuing one of the resort’s most popular annual celebrations.
For performers dreaming of dancing down the streets of Universal Studios Florida beside towering balloons and holiday floats, this may just be the most festive casting call of the year.
