The new So Cal resident offer is for the purchase of a three-day, one-park per day weekday ticket, subject to park reservations. Disney’s Yacht Club Resort has unveiled an awe-inspiring addition to its festive decor – a gigantic Gingerbread Lighthouse! This delightful creation is incredibly impressive and must be seen in person to truly appreciate it. Chocolate Wonderland is coming to Caribe Royale Orlando this holiday season

The Caribe Royale Orlando resort is kicking off its 2023 holiday season with lots of fun activities for everyone. The luxurious all-suite resort located tight near Walt Disney World® is now home to a cool “Holiday Chocolate Wonderland.”

There are two big chocolate displays, including a 32-foot train and a scene with Santa and his reindeer, each made from over 2,000 pounds of chocolate located in the resort’s lobby. The resort’s restaurants, like Calypso’s Pool Bar & Grille and The Venetian Chop House, will have special chocolate holiday drinks and desserts. Plus, if you check in on Fridays and Saturdays in December from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., you get free cocoa!

Christmas Day is extra special. You can enjoy a big brunch buffet at Tropicale, with seafood, meats, and lots of holiday sweets from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Or have a fancy Christmas dinner at The Venetian Chop House from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with dishes like prime rib and cornish hen.

Kids will love the “Hidden Holiday Gnome Hunt,” where they can find 12 gnomes around the resort and win a prize. They can also write letters to Santa and send them straight to the North Pole.

Everyone can enjoy the Menorah lighting for Hanukkah from Dec. 7-15, and a Christmas tree lighting on Dec. 24 with snacks, singing, and a visit from Santa! Santa will also be there on Dec. 22, 23, and 24 for photos. And on Fridays and Saturdays in December at 8 p.m., there are holiday movies under the stars.

Signage has been installed on eet by Maneet Chauhan, opening soon at Disney Springs!

Disney Springs is inching closer to yet another restaurant opening. eet by Maneet Chauhan, opening soon in the Marketplace neighborhood, has reached a construction milestone-signage has been installed on the buildings exterior!

eet by Maneet Chauhan was expected to open in November 2023, but given the fact there are so few days left in the month it appears December is a more realistic target month. The brainchild of James Beard Award-winning chef and Food Network star Maneet Chauhan, in partnership with her husband and hospitality entrepreneur Vivek Deora, “Eet” will offer a modern and fun take on Indian cuisine.

Disney springs veterans will recognize eet’s location as the former home of Wolfgang Puck Express. The resteraunt is anticipated to be a a quick-service restaurant, offering guests an opportunity to explore authentic Indian dishes in a fast and casual setting.

An official opening date for eet by Maneet Chauhan has not yet been announced.

Wandering Christmas Tree Spotted Roaming at Disney Springs

We caught up to the wandering Christmas Tree that has been roaming around Disney Springs

Disney Springs, like the rest of the Walt Disney World Resort, is decked out for the holiday season. The Christmas Tree Stroll is a popular annual event that is a central component of the holiday decorations and showcases a stunning collection of intricately decorated Christmas trees. The concept of the Christmas Tree Stroll is taking on a whole new meaning this year, as one of the Christmas Trees is actually participating in the ‘stroll’ this year: a fun wandering Christmas Tree!

The tree can be found wandering around at random points throughout the day, although it is more fun to experience after sundown since it is adorned with Christmas lights. The tree, known as ‘Douglas Fir’, roams around Disney Springs interacting with guests. The tree does not contain any ornaments, but the lights are super cute. Douglas continuously moves about Disney Springs so catching up to him takes a bit of luck.

Downtown Disney Decorated for the Holiday Season

The Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort is all decorated for the holidays! Christmas trees, poinsettias, gifts, toy soldiers, lights, garland, and more now adorn the buildings, restaurants, and planters in the shopping and dining district.

Christmas trees have been placed in the planters and decorated with beautiful holiday ornaments! Some trees have all blue ornaments while others have all red. A few are adorned with blue and silver ornaments. Festive red poinsettias join other flowers in the planters as well. There’s also a snowman or two in Downtown Disney!

Along with the trees and ornaments, you’ll see nutcrackers and toy soldiers included in the decorations! They’re joined by large gifts and candy canes as well.

Along with the festive decorations, guests can enjoy snowfall in Downtown Disney for the first time ever! It’s a wonderful time to visit the Disneyland Resort.
