Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, known for its New England-style elegance and nautical theme, has installed its annual Christmas Village train display. This festive attraction combines the charm of a miniature village with the whimsy of a model train, creating a delightful experience for guests of all ages. Here’s a closer look at this holiday gem.

The Christmas Village train display features a ton of detail that takes quite a while to take in.
Elsa has even taken up residence in her Ice Castle in the display!
This amazing fireplace focal point is one of my favorite aspects of the display.
Mickey and friends are present throughout the display as well, providing a great Disney tie-in to the display.
Beaches and Cream and Captain’s Grille are also included in the display, tying in the immediate area around and inside the Yacht Club to the display.

Michael Waldron has been promoted to write Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.” Initially assigned to pen “Avengers: Secret Wars,” the subsequent installment, Waldron will now be the creative force behind both Avengers sequels. Recognized as one of Marvel’s esteemed talents, Waldron previously served as the showrunner for season 1 of Loki and contributed to the scripts of “Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness.” Given his proven track record, it’s a logical move by the studio to entrust him with both film projects. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige will be in charge of production.
As reported by Deadline, Destin Daniel Cretton stepped away from directing the film to focus on other Marvel projects, including the TV series Wonder Man. “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 1, 2026, allowing Waldron ample time to craft the script as the search for a director commences. This film will come before “Avengers: Secret Wars,” to conclude Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe on May 7, 2027.

An innovative food hall-style concept, costing $8 million, is set to take over an upcoming 11,000 sqft building in Downtown Disney. This Parkside Market will feature Korean rice bowls, fried chicken sandwiches, and Caribbean-inspired coffee, complete with a second-story outdoor bar. Disneyland submitted building permits to the city of Anaheim in October, valuing the construction at $8.2 million, as per city records.

The commercial construction permits submitted to the Anaheim Planning and Building Department outline plans for a fast-food restaurant featuring four distinct concepts and second-floor outdoor dining.
According to The Orange County Register there are four new Parkside Market food and beverage concepts coming to Parkside Market. Those are:
These concepts will be brought together by Levy Restaurants with all four locations under one roof in Downtown Disney’s west end near the Disneyland Hotel. The construction of the new 11,000-square-foot building is taking place on the grounds where the former AMC Theaters, Starbucks West, Earl of Sandwich, and Sugarboo & Co. once stood. These structures were demolished in February 2022 as part of a multi-year project aimed at reimagining the Downtown Disney outdoor shopping center.

Pluto is keeping warm in Epcot this holiday season! He is wearing an adorable holiday scarf with matching earmuffs. Both are a shade of blue with a pattern of white snowflakes. His dog tag hangs from his scarf with a fuzzy white border. How cute is he?!

A new covered seating area is coming to the Harambe Market area in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! Construction on the seating area began this summer and we recently noticed roof decking has been added to the structure.

This new space is located amidst three dining spots: Tamu Tamu, Zuri’s Sweet Shop, and Harambe Market. Upon completion, guests dining at any of these locations will be able to utilize this seating area.
Since we saw the roof framework first go up, decking has been added. More themed paneling will be added over the decking later.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is known as the hottest Walt Disney World theme park, primarily due to its predominantly outdoor setting. Therefore, the covered seating area will offer a welcome relief for guests.
