Get Ready to Power-Up! Super Nintendo Colors Splash Onto CityWalk’s Store Expansion at Universal Orlando
Construction is leveling up over at Universal Orlando’s CityWalk — and we’re spotting some seriously colorful signs of what’s to come!
The Universal Studios Store expansion project has taken a huge leap forward with the addition of bright, bold paintwork that’s giving major Super Nintendo vibes. The new façade, which recently shed a ton of construction walls, now sports a sunny yellow and bright blue exterior, with a vibrant red archway framing the entrance. If the color scheme and the playful shape of that archway don’t scream “Nintendo power,” we don’t know what does!
With the walls now down, guests strolling by the Universal Studios Store can get a full view of the cheerful, video game-inspired design — and it’s clear this expansion is going to be a must-visit spot once it opens.
While Universal hasn’t officially announced an opening date yet, the timing points to a likely debut around the grand opening of Epic Universe on May 22, 2025. Inside, guests can expect a treasure trove of Super Nintendo World merchandise — perfect for fans looking to snag gear themed after Mario, Peach, Bowser, and the whole crew.
But wait, there’s more! The expansion is also expected to include something that’s pure magic: a Butterbeer Bar! That’s right — for the first time ever, guests will be able to sip the iconic Harry Potter-themed drink outside the theme parks. Whether you’re craving it frozen, cold, or warm, Butterbeer will now be just a stroll (and a sip) away at CityWalk.
Between the colorful Nintendo fun and the wizarding world treats, this new CityWalk expansion is about to become the ultimate pre- or post-park hangout.
New Adventure Awaits: Islands of Adventure Trading Company Gets a Nautical Makeover!
There’s a new twist in the tale over at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure Trading Company — and it’s making waves with explorers young and old!
Several brand-new props have surfaced inside the exploration-themed store, and trust us, they’re pure buried treasure for fans of Universal’s storytelling magic. The centerpiece? A larger-than-life barrel with an octopus dramatically bursting out, its twisting tentacles snatching up lanterns — and even gripping the barrel’s lid! Look closely and you’ll spot a mischievous eye peeking out from a hole near the base, darting around to “spy” on shoppers before retreating into the depths.
Surrounding this sea-worthy scene are giant chests, lush greenery, maps, a globe, a telescope, and even a tongue-in-cheek copy of “How to Abandon Ship”. (Good advice if that octopus gets any rowdier!) There’s also a copy of the Islands of Adventure Preview Guide, a fun nod to the park’s early days.
But Universal didn’t stop there — keen-eyed fans will spot even deeper lore connections! One crate features a rustic “Undeliverable Manifest of Supplies,” originally meant for the Global Discovery Group at the Poseidon’s Temple Dig Site — a clever throwback to the retired Poseidon’s Fury attraction in Lost Continent. Names like Professor Baxter (who famously vanished) and Taylor (the attraction’s adventurous guide) appear on the manifest, alongside hilarious cargo notes like 30 megaphones (“ran out, kept losing”) and 64 team bandanas (because, fashion). Fun fact: the dates listed match the original and revamped opening years for Poseidon’s Fury!
And if you’re still thirsting for adventure, make sure to check out the truck stationed nearby — it’s the ride vehicle from Skull Island: Reign of Kong, sporting the Eighth Wonder Expedition Company’s rugged look. Talk about a full-circle moment for fans of Universal’s greatest expeditions!
Between the new Epic Universe merchandise now stocked and these fantastic prop additions, the Trading Company has never been more of a must-visit. Whether you’re after a souvenir or just love a good deep-cut Universal Easter egg, there’s a whole new world to explore inside.

Get Your Glow On: The New Spaceship Earth Light Up Ears at Epcot!
You know you can’t leave Epcot without a little something to remember your trip by, right? Well, hold onto your Mickey ears because the Creations Shop has dropped a seriously cool new headband that’s got “must-have” written all over it.
For $34.99, you can snag the Spaceship Earth Light Up Ears, and trust me, it’s worth every penny.
First off, the ears themselves look just like our favorite giant golf ball! They’ve got those iconic triangular panels, and guess what? They light up! We’re talking a whole rainbow of colors – purple, blue, pink, green, and yellow – just like Spaceship Earth does when the sun goes down. Seriously magical!
But wait, there’s more! The bright blue headband is super comfy, thanks to the light blue non-slip velour on the inside. No more slipping and sliding while you’re trying to ride Test Track!
And that center bow? It’s got this cool blocky design packed with all sorts of Epcot goodness. You’ve got Spaceship Earth front and center with the “EPCOT” logo, plus little nods to different parts of the park. Keep your eyes peeled for Groot and Rocket (Cosmic Rewind, anyone?), Figment chilling in a lightbulb balloon (so cute!), and of course, our pal Mickey Mouse popping up here and there. They even snuck in the word “Discovery” all over the design!
And the best part? No need to hunt down batteries! This baby comes with a charging cable, and the port is tucked away nicely on the back of the headband near the bow. Oh, and did I mention the bow is removable? Talk about options!
So, if you’re heading to Epcot anytime soon, make a beeline for the Creations Shop and treat yourself. Trust me, these ears are going to be lighting up your Instagram feed in no time!
You know that little corner of Epcot that makes you wanna belt out an “O Canada!”? Well, the Canada Pavilion just dropped a whole new line of merch that’s cooler than a Zamboni on fresh ice. If you’re looking to rep the Great White North with a Disney twist, you’re gonna wanna check this stuff out.
First up, let’s talk threads. They’ve got these seriously awesome hockey jerseys. There’s one with Donald Duck looking absolutely furious in a Canada sweater, holding a snapped hockey stick. It says “Donald Destroyers Hockey Club” – how hilarious is that? Plus, it’s got Epcot and Canada details, and even some fun hockey lingo like “Shots on Net” and “Pucks in Deep.” The number “Nineteen” and “Est. 82” on the back are a sweet nod to Epcot’s opening year.
Then there’s another jersey with Chip ‘n’ Dale all geared up for a hockey tourney, looking super determined. Both of these are priced at $84.99, which might make your wallet do a little slap shot, but hey, they look pretty darn legit.
If jerseys aren’t your jam, they’ve got some cool tees too. One shows Mickey, Donald, and Goofy ready to hit the ice, with the Canada pavilion silhouette behind them. It says “Canada Hockey Club” and then the cheeky phrase “Silky Mitts & Greasy Goals.” Another shirt features Mickey as part of the “Rink Rats Hockey Club,” with the Epcot and Canada logos.
For the ladies, there’s a Chip ‘n’ Dale shirt with the same design as their jersey, set against a big ol’ maple leaf. These tees will set you back $29.99, except for the Chip ‘n’ Dale women’s one which is $34.99.
Now, let’s get to what’s on your head. They’ve got these super fun Mickey ear headbands where the ears are actual hockey pucks! One has angry Donald and the other has smiling Mickey, with Chip ‘n’ Dale looking intense in the middle. It’s red and has the Canada and Epcot logos – a total conversation starter for $34.99.
And if you’re more of a baseball cap person, they’ve got one that matches the Donald Destroyers jersey, complete with an angry Donald and embroidered hockey sticks. The back even has the Epcot logo. That one’s $29.99.
Thirsty after all that imaginary skating? They’ve got a red water bottle with Mickey in his hockey gear and the “Rink Rats Hockey Club” logo for $24.99. But the real standout in the drinkware department is the “Rink Rats Hockey Club” mug. It’s got a cool black matte finish and the handle is shaped like a hockey stick! One side has the Rink Rats logo with Mickey and a maple leaf, and the other side says “Epcot World Showcase Canada.” This bad boy holds 16 ounces and costs $19.99.
Last but not least, for your coffee table or man cave, they’ve got a set of four coasters for $19.99. Each one has a different design, featuring Chip ‘n’ Dale facing off, Mickey as a Rink Rat with the Canada pavilion skyline, and of course, the Canada logo with a maple leaf. They’re all black with white edges and some red accents.
So there you have it! The new Canada Pavilion Collection at Epcot is a total score for anyone who loves Disney and the thrill of the game. Whether you’re rocking a jersey, sipping from that hockey stick mug, or sporting those puck ears, you’ll be showing off your Canadian pride in the most Disney way possible. Go grab some before they skate away!
Score Big with the Canada Hockey Puck Ear Headband at Epcot!
Alright, picture this: you’re strolling through Epcot, soaking up all the awesome vibes, and you hit the Canada Pavilion. You know you wanna snag something cool to remember your trip, right? Well, hold on to your maple leaves, because you have to check out this Canada Hockey Puck Ear Headband!
For $34.99, this headband is a total steal if you’re a Disney fan, a hockey lover, or just someone who appreciates a seriously unique souvenir. You can only find it at the Canada Pavilion in Epcot, so make sure to swing by and grab one before they skate away!
Seriously, these aren’t your average Mickey ears. Instead of the usual round ones, these bad boys are made of hockey pucks! How cool is that? One puck’s got a super grumpy Donald Duck on it – I’m guessing he just missed a goal or something. The other puck? Classic, happy Mickey Mouse just chilling. It’s like a little Canada-meets-Disney party on your head!
And get this: right in the middle, where the bow usually goes, you’ve got Chip ‘n Dale. But these aren’t your goofy chipmunks. Nope, they’ve got their game faces on, looking all serious and ready for a hockey showdown. It’s such a fun and unexpected touch.
The headband itself is bright red, so it’ll definitely stand out. Plus, it’s got “Canada” and the EPCOT World Showcase logo in crisp white lettering. So everyone will know exactly where you got this awesome souvenir. Oh, and just a heads-up, the backs of those hockey puck ears are plain black, but honestly, with all the action on the front, who’s even looking at the back?
Trust me, you won’t regret rocking these awesome ears around the parks (or even back home!).
