As we reported earlier this year, the popular mobile ordering feature used currently at Walt Disney World is coming to Disneyland. In fact, it just went live today! Disneyland’s Mobile Ordering Feature has been rolled out to 15 locations across the Disneyland Resort and is accessible through the Disneyland app as noted below:

When Will Walt Disney World 2019 Vacation Packages Be Released?

If you’re like me you are anxiously awaiting booking your 2019 vacation to Walt Disney World. With so much in store next year it’s hard not to get excited! So many people are counting down the days until they can step into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios and experience the two new rides, one where guests can pilot the Millennium Falcon and a second attraction involving a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

I also can’t wait for the first ever ride-through attraction themed to Mickey and Minnie Mouse called “Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway” also opening next year at Hollywood Studios. Speaking of Hollywood Studios, the new Disney Skyliner Gondolas are also expected to be up and running next year that will transport guests through the air between Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Art of Animation, Pop Century, Caribbean Beach, and the new Disney Vacation Club property Riviera Resort.

But the big question is…When can I book Walt Disney World 2019 Vacation Packages?!?!

Although we don’t know for sure when that date will be, we can make a pretty good guess based on when packages were released in previous years.

2017 Walt Disney World vacation packages were released on Tuesday, June 21, 2016
2016 Walt Disney World vacation packages were released on Monday, June 22, 2015

If the previous year’s pattern holds true, I would expect Walt Disney World 2019 Vacation Packages to be released sometime around Tuesday, June 19, 2018. But of course, nothing is guaranteed until Disney confirms it.

Descendants 3 Casts Cheyenne Jackson

Descendants 3 casts Cheyenne Jackson as Hades, the nefarious underworld ruler from the 1997 Disney animated musical comedy film “Hercules. With this announcement the cast for this third installment is now complete.

Jackson began his career as a theatrical actor with starring roles in Broadway productions “All Shook Up” and “Xanadu” among others. He has also starred in multiple seasons of “American Horror Story” and has had roles in over 40 television series and films.

Joining the returning cast of Villain Kids (a.k.a. VKs) is Dove Cameron as Maleficent’s daughter Mal, Cameron Boyce as Cruella de Vil’s son Carlos, Sofia Carson as the Evil Queen’s daughter Evie, Booboo Stewart as Jafar’s son Jay, China Anne McClain as Ursula’s daughter Uma, Thomas Doherty as Captain Hook’s son Harry, Dylan Playfair as Gaston’s son Gil and Anna Cathcart as Drizella’s daughter Dizzy. Auradonians returning include Mitchell Hope as Beast and Belle’s son King Ben, Sarah Jeffery as Prince Phillip and Sleeping Beauty’s daughter Audrey, Jedidiah Goodacre as Prince Charming and Cinderella’s son Chad, Zachary Gibson as Dopey’s son Doug, Brenna D’Amico as Fairy Godmother’s daughter Jane, Dan Payne as Beast, Keegan Connor Tracy as Belle and Melanie Paxson as Fairy Godmother.

Also joining the cast for this newest movie are Jadah Marie as Dr. Facilier’s daughter Celia, Jamal Sims as Dr. Facilier, and Christian Convery and Luke Roessler as Smee’s sons Squeaky and Squirmy, respectively.

Kenny Ortega (“Descendants,” “High School Musical” trilogy) serves as the director, executive producer and choreographer. While riters Sara Parriott and Josann McGibbon (“The Starter Wife,” “Runaway Bride,” “Descendants,” “Descendants 2”) will also serve as executive producers alongside Ortega and executive producer Wendy Japhet. Kara Saun (“Descendants,” “Descendants 2,” “Project Runway”) is the costume designer. Mark Hofeling (“Descendants,” “Descendants 2,” “High School Musical,” “ZOMBIES”) is the production designer. Shawn Williamson (“Descendants 2,” “Adventures in Babysitting”) is producer. Jamal Sims (“Step Up,” “Hannah Montana Movie”) joins Kenny Ortega as choreographer.

Descendants 3 is set to enter production shortly and is scheduled to premiere on The Disney Channel in 2019.

When you need assistance during your Walt Disney World vacation, Guest Relations is where you want to go. With a touch that is distinctly Disney, the Cast Members at Guest Relations will work to ensure your vacation is as hassle-free as possible. A new Disney Guest Relations Transportation and Ticket Center window is now open, offering guests another venue to seek assistance.

As part of a test running through June 2nd, guests who pass through TTC on their way to a Walt Disney World destination will have access to Guest Relations Cast Members at Window 3. The window will be open from 8:00am until 1:00pm.

At this window guest can get assistance with a variety of things, including:

Support for My Disney Experience
Disney Resort issues
Enrollment in Disability Access Service
Annual Monthly Payment Plan Support
Disney Visa Rewards Redemption

You will also find Guest Relations available at Magic Kingdom park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, Disney Springs and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The hours of operation vary based on location. Every Guest Relations location is open for the normal operating hours of its theme park, water park or complex.

At each of the Theme Parks you will find park maps for that location in multiple languages as well as time guides, detailing show and parade information. You will also find Guide Maps in English for other parks at each park. Guests Relations at Disney Springs provides Disney Springs Guide Maps in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese—as well as theme park Guide Maps in English.

Guest Relations is the place to go to have any issues resolved that arise while you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. You can also make dining reservation, schedule tours or special activities, purchase an Annual Pass, upgrade your tickets and more.

We’ve all been there, you’re enjoying a magical Walt Disney World vacation and you suddenly notice that you’ve lost something. Don’t panic! Disney has just implemented a new online Lost and Found recovery for items lost at any Walt Disney World theme park, Disney Springs, Transportation (including busses, monorails, and watercraft), ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex or Disney Water Park.

Walt Disney World Resort has partnered with Chargerback to help track lost and found items. Chargerback is the leading provider of online Lost and Found recovery for many airlines, casinos, resorts, rental car companies, cruise lines, and amusement parks.

Once you realize an item is lost you can fill out the online report, available at the link below. This will allow the Disney team to start looking for your lost item.

New Walt Disney World Online Lost and Found Recovery System Now Live

Once you fill out the online form you will receive an email notification with your Lost Item claim number. The Disney team will continue to look for your item and provide you with an email update within 48 hours. Disney will contact you if they believe the item has been found or if they need further information.

Please note that if an item has been lost at a Resort Hotel then you would need to contact the specific resort Lobby Concierge for assistance.

‘Inside Disney Parks’ – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Episode Features Imagineer Joe Rohde

Celebrate 20 years of Animal Kingdom with Disney Parks Blog‘s latest video of ‘Inside Disney Parks’.

Portfolio Creative Executive for Walt Disney Imagineering, Joe Rohde kicks off with a new episode of “Inside Disney Parks” with his special “Top 5 Places” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Then go behind the scenes of the new UP! A Great Bird Adventure and our “unboxing” segment is back with a first look at a new, limited release Banshee!

The Limited Release Interactive Banshee, inspired by the moss covered wall from Pandora in Animal Kingdom. The new Banshee will be flapping its wings into the Rookery at Windtraders on April 22. This new version of the popular interactive toy will only be available for a limited time and will be packaged with a display perch and Certificate of Authenticity. Like the originals, the banshee has authentic sounds and includes three ranges of motion – mouth, head, and wings – that are controlled by hand.
