Mobile ordering is now available at 15 Disneyland quick service locations. Previously mobile ordering was only an option at Walt Disney World resorts, but now it has come to California as well. Simply download the My Disney Experience App and follow the prompts to set up and account. Once you are logged in, just search for the location and select an arrival time and order your food! Once the order is placed you can track the process right from the app itself! Isn’t technology great?!

All reservations require a credit card guarantee. If you wish to cancel your reservation, please do so at least 72 hours prior to the event to avoid a $10 per person charge. Any reservations cancelled outside that 72 hour period will not be charged a cancellation fee. This charge will also apply to “no shows.”

Check out this video vault for the one-year anniversary of Pandora! Just a year ago we walked through the wonder that is Pandora in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Pandora is such a breathtaking and amazing part of the park that it is hard to believe it has been just one year since the opening! Flights of Passage has quickly become one of Walt Disney Worlds most popular attractions. With wait times averaging two or more hours at some times park goers have adopted Flights of Passage(FOP) as a staple ride experience. I have gone to the parks several times and have not ever had the opportunity to ride FOP. This last trip I rode for the first time! I was blown away by how amazing the ride is. I felt like I was being taken away on a banshee flying through the sky and above the water. If you love Sorin, you will love FOP!

Disney has decided to celebrate the first anniversary of Pandora by putting together a series of montage videos from the very beginning of construction to now. In addition to FOP, the land is illuminated by nighttime bioluminescent plant life and an adventure offered aboard the Na’vi River Journey. This first video shows the original beam used in the construction and the process involved! Watch the video here:

Land is Being Cleared at Future Site of Star Wars Resort Coming to Walt Disney World

As we reported last month, a notice of commencement was filed for work to begin on the future site of the Star Wars Resort coming to Walt Disney World. After making a stop at Hollywood Studios this past weekend, we are happy to report that trees are being removed and land is being cleared for construction to begin on the much-anticipated resort.

The Star Wars Resort will be located just to the right of the new Hollywood Studios entrance that is also currently under construction. The new entrance will be located on the corner of Osceola Parkway and Victory Way.

Production has begun on Disney's “Maleficent II”

Exciting news for Fans, production has begun on “Maleficent II,” a sequel to the 2014 box office hit “Maleficent,” at Pinewood Studios and on locations throughout the U.K. Oscar® and three-time Golden Globe® winner Angelina Jolie (“Girl, Interrupted,” “Wanted”) and Elle Fanning (“The Beguiled,” “Super 8”) reprise their roles as the dark fairy Maleficent and Princess Aurora, respectively, two characters from the studio’s animated classic “Sleeping Beauty,” whose untold story was brought to life on screen in “Maleficent.”

A fantasy adventure that picks up several years after “Maleficent,” in which audiences learned of the events that hardened the heart of Disney’s most notorious villain and drove her to curse a baby Princess Aurora, “Maleficent II” continues to explore the complex relationship between the horned fairy and the soon to be Queen, as they form new alliances and face new adversaries in their struggle to protect the moors and the magical creatures that reside within.

Also joining the cast as Queen Ingrith is Michelle Pfeiffer (“Murder on the Orient Express,” “Ant-Man and the Wasp”), a Golden Globe® Award winning, Emmy® nominated and three-time Academy Award® nominated actress. Also joining the production are Academy Award® and Golden Globe nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor (“Doctor Strange,” “12 Years a Slave”), Ed Skrein (“Deadpool,” “Game of Thrones”) and Robert Lindsay (“My Family,” “Wimbledon”). Harris Dickinson (“The Darkest Minds,” “Trust”) joins “Maleficent II” as Prince Phillip.

“Maleficent II” is directed by Joachim Rønning (“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” “Kon-Tiki”) and written by Linda Woolverton (“Alice in Wonderland,” “Beauty and the Beast”) and Micah Fitzerman-Blue & Noah Harpster (“Transparent”). The producers are Joe Roth (“Alice through the Looking Glass,” “Oz the Great and Powerful,” “Maleficent”) and Angelina Jolie.

Additional cast members returning from the 2014 film include Sam Riley (“Pride and Prejudice and Zombies,” “Control”) as Diaval; Oscar® nominee Imelda Staunton (“Pride,” the “Harry Potter” films) as the pixie Knotgrass; Juno Temple (“Wonder Wheel,” “Atonement”) as the pixie Thistlewit; and Academy Award® nominee Lesley Manville (“Phantom Thread,” “Topsy-Turvy”) as the pixie Flittle.

“Maleficent” opened on May 30, 2014 and grossed more than $750 million at the global box office.

ABC Pulls the Plug on ‘Roseanne’

After the star of “Roseanne,” Roseanne Barr, went on a racist Twitter rant this morning ABC has announced that the show has been canceled. The targets of Barr’s rant were former President Obama aide, Valerie Jett, and Chelsea Clinton. The Tweets have since been deleted. Barr also Tweeted an apology for her actions and stated she is getting off Twitter.

However, her apology was too late for ABC. Channing Dungey, President of ABC Entertainment, released the following statement: “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”

The cancelation of “Roseanne” comes after it hit airways again this past Spring after a long hiatus with stellar ratings and reviews. This development comes after it was just recently announced that the show would be coming back for a second season this Fall.

Update To Room Refurbishments at Disney’s Pop Century Resort

For just about a year now, we’ve been tracking the progress of the room refurbishment project at Disney’s Pop Century Resort in Walt Disney World. Today, we are happy to report that this massive overhaul is nearly complete!

As of today, room refurbishments for Building One in the 50’s section is completely closed. Here are some photos we were able to snap from over the weekend showing the progress:

Refurbishments to Building Two at Disney’s Pop Century Resort have not yet begun yet.

NBA Experience Disney Springs

The NBA Experience Disney Springs construction is in full swing! Disney Quest closed its doors forever almost a year ago and construction began on this new attraction at Disney Springs. In that time it appears a decent amount of progress has been made (but I’m not a construction expert so take that with a grain of salt). We’ve got another year or so until this building is open to guests but we’re already practicing our slam dunk!

When complete, this state-of-the-art space will include interactive games and competitions, immersive experiences, a retail store and an adjacent restaurant! It’s one of several ways Disney Springs is still growing and adding new experiences to entertain and delight guests!

The building design itself inspired by the modern architecture of new NBA arenas around the country. The hope is that the design captures the same spirit and energizing impact, while creating an unmistakable and entertaining connection to the NBA in a way that only Disney can.

“We are inspired by the design of the new building and the energy that it will bring to the West Side of Disney Springs,” said Senior Vice President of Disney Springs and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Maribeth Bisienere.

And we’ve got a newer construction update for you! From these photo you can see that it looks like most of the framing of the building is complete. We are excited to see the walls start going up!

This fresh blueberry and lemon mixture is the perfect combination of sweet and tart that leaves you wanting more. We are always on the lookout for a good treat while we are resort hopping. Recently, the resorts have stepped up their game! The fresh lemon scent of the frosting hits you immediately and the rock candy sprinkles add an additional layer of sweetness to level out any tartness. The cake itself is plain vanilla, but inside was a blueberry filling that moistened up the entire cake. The refreshing treat is a great sweeter version of a blueberry muffin.
