Go Behind The Scenes For The Making Of The Incredicoaster Score

The brand new Incredicoaster, opening with Pixar Pier on June 23rd is set to have some pretty incredible music. Academy Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino lent his knowledge and expertise to compose the score for the ride. He also scored the music for Disney Pixar’s “The Incredibles” and “Incredibles 2” films.

Michael Giacchino, along with the original musicians from “The Incredibles” and “Incredibles 2” movies show us a recording session for the coaster music. The themes have been adapted from the films to fit this amazing ride experience!

Michael Giacchino has also worked with Walt Disney Imagineering to create music for attractions, Some of his music can be found at Space Mountain at Disneyland park, Ratatouille: The Adventure at Disneyland Paris, as well as parts of Star Tours – The Adventures Continue (with legendary composer John Williams) at Disney Parks around the world.

The Incredicoaster at Disneyland will take you on an adventure, along with the Parr family, to try and capture the elusive baby Jack Jack. As we all know, the music makes the movie (or ride in this case).

Keep your ears open before you board the attraction! The queue area music was also written by, you guessed it, the incredible Michael Giachhino!

Viewers will see their favorite former contestants from “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” for a second or even third chance at love. Once brokenhearted, they now have the chance to travel to an exotic locale in hopes of a summer fling turning into a ring.

Fans will follow former bachelors and bachelorettes as they explore new relationships while living together in a secluded and dreamy paradise in Mexico. As they have some fun in the sun, America will witness whether they fall in love or are reintroduced to heartbreak. This season will be sure to feature shocking twists, surprises, unexpected guests and some of the most unlikely relationships in “Bachelor” history. Which romantic hopefuls will follow in the footsteps of Jade and Tanner or Carly and Evan? And for anyone wondering where Paradise could lead them, newly engaged Ashley and Jared have proven that anything is possible when it comes to true love.

Hosted by Chris Harrison, “Bachelor in Paradise” officially returns to ABC on Tuesday, August 7 and will air on Mondays and Tuesday nights from 8 to 10 pm EST. The cast will be announced at a later date.

Introducing Disney Spring's Newest Quick Service Location: The Chicken Guy

Disney Springs will soon be getting a new quick service location. The Chicken Guy is currently being built beside the Planet Hollywood Observatory. Who do we have to thank for The Chicken Guy? None other than Planet Hollywood’s Robert Earl and Guy Fieri himself. TouringPlans.com reported that the two dynamic forces are teaming up again to bring you this new concept.

Guy Fieri has been serving up menu items at Planet Hollywood for some time now. His sandwiches and burgers have been a guest favorite since they were introduced. It’s only fitting that they introduce a ‘spin off’ quick service location to grab a bite and go. While we do not yet have an idea of the menu (although chicken dishes seem highly favorable) or an official opening date, they are already hiring.

The Ultimate Disney S’mores have made a return for the summer at The Ganachery in Disney Springs and I couldn’t be more excited! These ooey gooey treats are made-to-order while you watch your S’more being created in The Ganachery’s show kitchen. The best part is watching the marshmallow being toasted with a blowtorch (see video below)!

The Ultimate Disney S’more is made with two homemade graham crackers topped with cinnamon and sugar. Both crackers are spread with a salted caramel ganache. The ganache is then sprinkled with sea salt.

Next, a homemade vanilla bean marshmallow, made from scraped Madagascan vanilla beans, is toasted with a blowtorch. The heating process caramelizes the sugar on the marshmallow with the flame.

Once the marshmallow has been placed on the ganache, a custom blend of chocolate called “Dark 65” is laid on top. “Dark 65” has been specially prepared in sheet form with the Ganachery’s logo. It is a single origin chocolate with beans harvested from the Dominican Republic. The 65 means that 65% of chocolate came from the cocoa bean.

As of right now, The Ultimate Disney S’more is only being offered through the summer so you better hurry!

A Disney Fox Amended Merger was Announced Today

Disney Fox amended merger

A Disney Fox amended merger was announced today by 21st Century Fox. When announced in December, the purchase price was $52.4 billion – or right at $28 per share.  This amended offer has increased that price to $38 per share – or just over $71 billion. The amended and restated Disney Merger Agreement offers a package of consideration, flexibility and deal certainty enhancements that is superior to the proposal made by the Comcast Corporation on June 13, 2018.

The terms of this  amended and restated Disney Merger Agreement are basically the same except that, among other things, Disney’s offer allows 21CF stockholders to elect to receive their consideration, on a value equalized basis, in the form of cash or stock, subject to 50/50 proration. The collar on the stock consideration will ensure that 21st Century Fox shareholders will receive a number of Disney shares equal to $38 in value if the average Disney stock price at closing is between $93.53 and $114.32.

“We are extremely proud of the businesses we have built at 21st Century Fox, and firmly believe that this combination with Disney will unlock even more value for shareholders as the new Disney continues to set the pace at a dynamic time for our industry,” said Rupert Murdoch, Executive Chairman of 21st Century Fox. “We remain convinced that the combination of 21CF‘s iconic assets, brands and franchises with Disney‘s will create one of the greatest, most innovative companies in the world.“

In light of the revised terms contained in the amended and restated Disney Merger Agreement, 21CF’s board, after consultation with its outside legal counsel and financial advisors, has not concluded that the unsolicited proposal it received on June 13, 2018 from Comcast could reasonably be expected to result in a “Company Superior Proposal” under the Disney Merger Agreement.

However, the amended and restated Disney Merger Agreement contains no changes to the provisions relating to the Company’s directors’ ability to evaluate a competing proposal.

As announced on May 30, 2018, 21CF has established a record date of May 29, 2018 and a meeting date of July 10, 2018, for a special meeting of its stockholders to, among other things, consider and vote on a proposal to adopt the Disney Merger Agreement.  21CF has determined to postpone its special meeting of stockholders to a future date in order to provide stockholders the opportunity to evaluate the terms of Disney’s revised proposal and other developments to date. Once 21CF determines the new date for 21CF’s special meeting of stockholders, the date will be communicated to 21CF stockholders.

It’s one thing to visit a Walt Disney World theme park during the day but to me, it’s even more magical to visit it at night! There’s nothing like taking in the details of a park under the moon and bright lights. Pete Docter and Jennifer Lee to Take Over John Lasseter’s Duties

At the end of 2018, John Lasseter will be stepping down from his position at Pixar and Walt Disney Animation amidst the sexual misconduct incidents. It is now official that Pete Docter and Jennifer Lee will split his duties as the studio’s animation division tries to move forward.

Pete Docter, who is the director of “Inside Out” is now the chief creative officer at Pixar Animation Studios, while Jennifer Lee, director of “Frozen”, is the chief creative officer at Walt Disney Animation Studios.

Lasseter was being credited with reviving Disney’s animation offerings and helping create film classics such as “Up” and “The Incredibles,” but he is leaving the company under a bad rep. According to an article on the Hollywood Reporter, John Lasseter was accused of sexual misconduct for grabbing, kissing, and making inappropriate comments. The article talks about an incident with Rashida Jones who was a writer on Toy Story 4.  Lasseter made several unwanted advances on Rashida. Rashida and her fellow writing partner Will McCormack left the project early on citing creative differences. Lasseter acknowledged the “painful” conversations and unspecified “missteps,” he wrote in a memo to staff at Pixar Studio.

Lasseter began a leave of absence late fall of 2017 but it seems he will consult until the end of 2018 when his role will officially be terminated.

Are you ready to celebrate Halloween at Disneyland Paris?! The Halloween season is sure to be SPOOK-TACULAR this year at the DLRP and here are a few things you should know!

Disney’s Halloween Festival will take place from October 1st through November 4th! And this event is sure to delight. We hope to see Frontierland in Disneyland Park bewitched with the eerie aura of All Hallows’ Eve again. We can’t wait to fall under the spell of a world alive with gleefully grinning pumpkins, dead-fun spooky decoration!  And of course who doesn’t love meeting Villians?! At Maleficent’s briar bush at Castle Courtyard Guests could meet the ‘Mistress of All Evil’ herself – let’s hope she’s conjuring up evil agin this year!

Last year you could catch Mickey’s Tricycle Gang heading down Main Street USA decked out in their colorful Halloween costumes.  Captain Hook and a crew of mischievous Disney Villains came by with some spooky tricks up their sleeves.  And later you could meet Micky and Minnie, dressed in their Halloween best in Frontierland!

Programming for 2018 is still being finalized – but as soon as the details are released we will share them with you! I know Halloween at Disneyland Paris should pretty cool!

One Halloween event we do have a more information on is Soiree Halloween Disney, or Disney’s Halloween Party, which will take place on October 31st! Tickets for this event are now on sale on the Disneyland Paris Website for $79.00 each for all guests 3 and older.

Join in for chillingly thrilling family festivities featuring devilishly good shows and eerie entertainment bursting with bewitching surprises. The Disney Villains will take centre stage, hell-bent on sending shivers down your spine, and there’ll be heaps of hocus pocus so make sure you don’t miss a trick! Surrounded by your favorite Disney Characters, give yourself goosebumps galore by enjoying the many attractions in Disneyland Park as you soak up the magically mysterious vibe During Disney’s Halloween Party at Disneyland Paris, you’re in for the thrill of a lifetime!

The party begins at 8pm and goes until 2:30am! Access to the Disneyland Park starting at 5pm for those with valid tickets to this special evening. Guests are invited to wear costumes – but remember to check with Disney for specifics on what is allowed!

Disney’s Aulani Resort and Spa is preparing to welcome a new friend of Duffy the Disney Bear. DisneyAulani sent out a tweet a few days ago with a sneak peek that has Duffy fans incredibly excited!

Duffy the Disney Bear made his meet and greet debut in Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort and Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort in 2010. Since then, Duffy has made tons of new friends including Gelatoni and StellaLou.
