New Interactive Stage Show Version of The Little Mermaid Coming To Los Angeles In March

A new interactive stage show of Disney’s “The Little Mermaid” produced by SOUND STAGE LIVE! is set to run at El Segundo Performing Arts Center in El Segundo from March 15- 18th. This exciting new production promises to be the first-ever immersive theatre experience that combines live actors and interactive animations that surround the audience. There is also an interactive element between the audience’s mobile devices and the live show.

This new production stars Chassey Bennet as is directed by Karl Warden. The four-day fully immersive theatrical experience will be hosted by YouTube star Todrick Hall. Those that purchase VIP tickets will even have the chance to meet Todrick, attend an exclusive Q&A and will receive front row seats!

Amtrak Pacific Surfliner and Disneyland Partner Up for Special Savings

For those on the West Coast visiting Disneyland between now and May 21, 2018 couldn’t be easier as The The Amtrak^® Pacific Surfliner^® and Disneyland have paired up for a special offer for California residents.

Visitors can book a free children’s ticket with each adult ticket purchased to an from Anaheim on Amtrak’s official website using the promo code “V231.”

Once guests have booked the train tickets there’s also a form you can fill out to receive a 5% SoCal savings offer at Disneyland Resort. The rates are as follows:

2-Day Tickets:

1-Park Per Day Ticket for $151 (savings of $48)
Park Hopper Ticket for $194 (savings of $50)

3-Day Tickets:

1-Park Per Day Ticket for $189 (savings of $81)
Park Hopper Ticket for $232 (savings of $83)

For those coming in on the train, it’s also worth pointing out that Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) provides a connection from the train station directly to Disneyland Resort. Next month Disneyland Resort welcomes back the incredibly popular Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. From March 2 to April 12, 2018, the culinary festival will bring delicious cuisine, specialty beverages and exciting entertainment to guests of all ages at Disney California Adventure Park. All throughout the six-week event, guests will experience new tasty and fun things daily as they explore the uniquely Disney festival.

The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival features a variety of offerings for the whole family to enjoy, including unique food and beverage offerings to sip and savor at more than a dozen Festival Marketplaces. Guests will experience presentations and demonstrations with celebrity chefs such as Guy Fieri, Robert Irvine, Alex Guarnaschelli and Shaun O’Neale, food and beverage tastings, winemaker dinners, beer, wine and spirit seminars, and more. Guests also will enjoy live music, entertainment, and special activities, all of which bring a “California vibe” to the festival.

At the Festival Marketplaces, guests can sample a cornucopia of California-inspired small plates with fresh, California-grown ingredients like avocado, strawberries, fragrant citrus, peppers and artisanal cheese. Guests will also discover an array of locally brewed craft beers and wines from all over the Golden State.

Family-friendly seminars at the Backlot Stage in Hollywood Land will feature a variety of topics, cooking demonstrations and more on select days throughout the festival. From growing your own vegetables to learning how to prepare some of the festival marketplace favorites, guests of all ages will get inspired or even discover a new interest during these seminars.

Another guest-favorite returning to the festival is the complimentary Junior Chef experience, with hands-on fun led by Chef Goofy, for children ages 3 to 11. Aspiring young chefs follow a recipe and mix a variety of ingredients to create magical treats that ends with a tasty surprise.

Guests looking for more palate-pleasing experiences will want to try the festival’s signature events, including new offerings such as Celebrity Chef LIVE! at the Hyperion, as well as returning favorites like the Disney Family of Wines Dinner, Sweet Sundays and the Winemaker or Brewmaster Dinners. Some of this year’s signature events include:

On Sunday, February 11, two special advance screenings of Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” were held in Washington, D.C., with director Ryan Coogler, executive producer Nate Moore and costume designer Ruth Carter attending. The first screening at the National Museum of African American History and Culture featured a conversation between the filmmakers and the Washington Post’s David Betancourt before the screening. At the National Air and Space Museum screening for Howard University students, moderator Ta-Nehisi Coates led a discussion with the filmmakers following the film presentation.

“Fancy Nancy” will be premiering this summer on Disney Junior and the new DisneyNOW app. Alyson Hannigan (“How I Met Your Mother”) and Rob Riggle (“Modern Family”) star as Nancy’s parents Claire and Doug Clancy in Disney Junior’s animated series. Mia Sinclair Jenness, the 12-year-old Broadway sensation who starred in “Matilda,” stars as the voice of Nancy, a lovable young girl whose zest and enthusiasm for all that is fantastic transforms the ordinary into the extraordinary. Newcomer Spencer Moss voices Nancy’s younger sister, Jo Jo.

Based on the New York Times bestselling books by Jane O’Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser, Disney Junior’s “Fancy Nancy” is an animated family comedy centered around six-year-old Nancy, a girl who likes to be fancy in everything from her advanced vocabulary to her creative, elaborate attire. Excited to experience what the magnificent world has to offer, Nancy uses her ingenuity and imagination as she learns that while life doesn’t always go as planned, it’s important to celebrate the differences that make everyone unique. Geared towards kids age 2-7, each episode contains humorous and heartfelt stories which highlight themes of self-expression, originality, and love of family.

Guests at Hong Kong Disneyland can now have their popcorn served in this awesome Sully popcorn bucket! It is available for 160 in the Hong Kong Dollar or $20.16 in United States Currency.

As of now, Hong Kong Disneyland is the only Disney location to purchase Sully. However, we are on the lookout for them to pop up here stateside especially with the opening of Pixar Pier at Disneyland on the horizon!
