Has The Club 33 Location In Animal Kingdom Been Decided?

As previously announced, Club 33 will soon be welcoming VIP guests to each of Disney World’s four theme parks. Upon doing a little digging, we came across permits which were filed yesterday afternoon for construction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, specifically in DinoLand USA.

Has The Club 33 Location In Animal Kingdom Been Decided?

While Disney has not confirmed or released any information regarding this construction, the address 580 Dinoland Drive leads us directly to the home of the DINOSAUR attraction and the Dinosaur Lounge.

The Dinosaur Lounge is an event area in Animal Kingdom, which currently offers a cool, colorful and modern space perfect for luncheons and cocktail receptions. However, with construction in the foreseeable future and Club 33 in need of a home… wouldn’t it make sense for Disney to simply “reimagine” an exiting lounge area?

While nothing has been confirmed by Disney, we plan to keep an eye on this area in hopes of seeing a familiar doorbell pop up!

Doctor Strange is Headed To Disneyland

For the first time, Doctor Strange will be making an appearance at Disneyland Resort. The Master of the Mystic Arts is the protector of Earth from magical and mystical threats. Also known as the Sorcerer Supreme, Doctor Strange acts as a go-between amidst the real world and the great beyond, fighting to protect the planet.

Doctor Strange first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1963. He has been delighting fans of all ages ever since. He has recently been spotted in Marvel movies such as Thor: Ragnarok in 2017 and Avengers: Infinity War in theaters now. He is also expected to appear in an upcoming Avengers movie as well.

Guests of Disneyland will soon experience the magical world of Doctor Strange, however a date for his arrival and location have not yet been set. Other new characters joining the Super Hero Universe will include Spider-man and the Avengers.

Tickets for D23's Destination D: Celebrating Mickey Mouse to go On Sale Soon

D23 has just released information for Destination D: Celebrating Mickey Mouse to celebrate the 90th birthday of everyone’s favorite Mouse! This special birthday celebration will be held November 17-18, 2018 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World.

Guests of the event have the option to check in early on November 16th and begin the festivities. Some exciting things that will be available beginning Friday November 16th and run through the end of the event include Mickey’s of Glendale, Mickey’s Marketplace and the Walt Disney Archives. Mickey’s of Glendale is a pop-up shop with exclusive Walt Disney Imagineering merchandise including apparel, limited edition trading pins and collectibles for the event. Mickey’s Marketplace will be located inside the Contemporary Convention Center and will be exclusive to Destination D guests featuring limited Mickey-branded products. Mickey Mouse will also be celebrated by the Walt Disney Archive as they host an exclusive exhibit just for the celebration.

Beginning Saturday November 17th, Destination D guests can celebrate and discover the past, present and future of Walt Disney’s famous creation. Disney historians, cast members, Imagineers and more will be on hand presenting, entertaining and hosting fun filled panels. It is sure to be a spectacular weekend!

More highlights will include exciting presenters such as Disney animator Mark Henn (his work includes Ariel, Belle and Princess Jasmine) and Voice Actor Brett Iwan (official voice of Mickey Mouse). Mark Henn will be hosting a teaching experience called Mickey’s Animation Academy where he will teach how to draw, Disney style! Guests will also join Disney animators and historians with A Mouse in Shorts: Animating Mickey Through the Years where they go on an adventure with Mickey through his career. They will look back on some of Mickey’s most famous roles and the films that defined him.

Possibly one of the most exciting events of the weekend will be the sneak peek of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railroad, coming to Hollywood Studios in 2019. The finale will be a Mickey movie pajama party with the guest of honor, Mickey Mouse himself. On the screen will include rare and iconic footage of the main Mouse from the past 90 years.

All guests will receive D23 exclusives such as guaranteed seating at all presentations and panels in the Fantasia ballroom, D23 exclusive Mickey’s Movie Night, access to retail shops throughout the weekend and a specialty gift created just for Destination D: Celebrating Mickey Mouse.

A limited number of Mouseketeer VIP tickets will be on sale (first come first serve basis). Those guests will also receive an exclusive VIP dinner Friday night, a birthday breakfast on November 18th, the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse lounge during the event weekend, priority seating, early shopping access at Mickey’s of Glendale, early access to the Walt Disney archives, an additional specialty gift and a dedicated VIP Destination D check in location. There will also be a limited number of rooms and park tickets available to Destination D guests.

Tickets for Gold and Gold family members will go on sale at 2:00pm EST on April 12th, 2018 and will priced at $215 per person (plus a $7 processing fee). Mouseketeer VIP Level tickets will be on sale at 1:00pm EST on April 12th, 2018. Those are priced at $1300 per person (plus a $7 processing fee). We now have more details about the new hotel options coming to the Universal Orlando Resort. The new hotel complex, which was announced in November of last year, will be called Universal’s Endless Summer Resort and will include the two new hotels: Surfside Inn and Suites and Dockside Inn and Suites.

Like hotels currently open at the Universal Orlando Resort, you can expect to find exceptional accommodations for guests. Pair that with their location to Universal Orlando & the extra affordable cost and these 2,800 new rooms and suites are perfect for visitors to the Universal Orlando Resort!

Universal's Endless Summer Resort named

This complex will be located on the corner of Universal Boulevard and International Drive just minutes away from Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Universal CityWalk’s dining and entertainment options. Surfside Inn and Suites & Dockside Inn and Suites will feature standard rooms and spacious 2 Bedroom Suites. 1,450 rooms – that’s more than half of the rooms across both hotels – will be 2 Bedroom Suites.

These suites will sleep six and feature two separate bedrooms, a kitchenette and dining area, and a bathroom with a separate shower and vanity. They will be perfect for larger families or even two families traveling together! And who doesn’t love having a kitchenette in their resort room for snacks or even a quick breakfast before a fun and exciting day of exploring?!

Universal's Endless Summer Resort named

Surfside Inn and Suites will be the first hotel at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort and will open in the summer of 2019. Its sister property, Dockside Inn and Suites, will open in 2020. Universal’s Endless Summer Resort is where the sun, surf, sand and water meet!

The next time you’re visiting Adventureland at Disneyland Park, make sure to stop by Bengal Barbecue to try the new Kalua Pork Sandwich.

Swinging onto the menu, this new sandwich is Shredded Pork, Pineapple-Jalapeño Salsa and Spicy Hoisin Sauce on a sweet Hawaiian Bun, served with Pasta Salad and Maui-Onion Potato Chips! All that for $15.99!

Disneyland Announces Mobile Ordering!

Mobile Ordering has been a huge success at Walt Disney World. We are now happy to report that it will also be coming to the west coast at Disneyland!

Mobile ordering will allow Guests to save time and customize their vacation even more by placing orders at quick service restaurants via the Disneyland App from anywhere at the Disneyland Resort.

While using the Disneyland App, Guests can search for their favorite participating restaurant, select a time to pick up their order, and chose their desired meal. Annual Passholders will be able to store their information on the app so they can receive their discount and still take advantage of the convenience of Mobile Ordering.

After you place your order on the Disneyland App, you will be notified that your order is ready. Then, you can go to the designated area at each restaurant to pick up your order without having to wait in line or even pay since the payment will be taken from the credit card that is stored in your My Disney Experience Account! It’s that simple!

A list of participating restaurants has not been announced yet but we will be sure to pass the information along as soon as we find out.

The Festival of Pirates and Princesses at Disneyland Paris has Begun

Come ye pirates and princesses to a whole new festival of mischief and magic as part of the 25th Anniversary celebration in Disneyland Paris. During the new Festival of Pirates and Princesses, guests will see Jack Sparrow in Adventureland and sequences from Pirates of the Caribbean during the new Illuminations show.

Pirates and Princess will be transformed in Adventureland and Fantasyland with face painting or a whole new look. Once you’ve been transformed you can meet your favorite pirate or princess too for a swashbuckling good time.

The Festival of Pirates and Princesses at Disneyland Paris has Begun

Starting off with “Disney Pirate or Princess: Make Your Choice!” Guests will see this interactive show starting at the opposite end of the park with floats that sail down Main St USA with all their pirate and princess friends.
