Mark your calendars as #DisneyParksLIVE is making its return this Tuesday, May 15. This time with a live stream of “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” from Disneyland Park! This extremely popular fireworks show made its debut April 13, 2018, at the first-ever Pixar Fest, celebrating friendship and beyond. In addition to this new nighttime spectacular, Pixar Fest includes the return of two favorite parades with fresh Pixar surprises, new décor, musical entertainment, creatively themed food and beverage, event merchandise and more!

“Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” stars Buzz Lightyear, more than 300 green Space Aliens, 10-foot-tall “Coco”, characters from the Land of the Dead, and many more Pixar favorites. It comes to life with pyrotechnics, special effects, a new musical score and projections on iconic park locations: Sleeping Beauty Castle, the water screens of the Rivers of America, the façade of “it’s a small world” and the buildings of Main Street, U.S.A. The grand tradition of Tinker Bell flying over Sleeping Beauty Castle also gets a Pixar twist, with a special flyover by Buzz Lightyear.

Legoland Star Wars Days Unveils New Miniland Jakku Display

Legoland Star Wars Days opened last weekend and will run Saturdays and Sundays through May 20th. We were on hand to experience opening weekend. Here is our photo review of this fun event to include Lego Star Wars Miniland, Star Wars Characters, Star Wars games, and Star Wars themed foods.

The Event Guide for Legoland Star Wards Days listed showtimes, Miniland USA Star Wars experiences, photo ops, character meets, Star Wars Days Games locations and Star Wars themed foods available.

Upon our arrival, to the Legoland Star Wars Days event, we were greeted by Stormtroopers. They were pacing above the check-in turnstiles and speaking to one another.

We loved the new Miniland Lego Jakku display representing scenes from Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Depending on which side we entered Miniland from, we were greeted by Lego Rey or Lego Chewbacca. These incredible new additions are sure to draw Star Wars fans to Legoland. See our short video walk-through of the new Jakku display here:

Star Wars Characters were available throughout Legoland Park for meet-and-greet photo ops. Star Wars attire was recommended and we saw many fans dressed up as their favorite characters from the movies. Be aware that Darth Vader will attempt to whisper a message in your ear.

Star Wars themed games and shows were available throughout the day. The Imagination Zone hosted some really fun and interactive games for children. Participants were given an event-specific Lego Brick as a take-home prize. We love the Stormtrooper representation on this Brick. Fun Town Theater hosted interactive shows, such as the “Galaxy of Fun Live Show,” that centered around the virtures of fun, creativity and unity.

We tried a couple of the Star Wars themed snacks. The Blue Rey-Berry Ice Cream from Kingdom Cones was our favorite. We also enjoyed the Blue Light Sword Churro. Additional options were the Rebel Burger and the Light Side vs. Dark Side Ice Cream.

Lego collectors are sure to enjoy the exclusive Lego Star Wars Scarif Trooper Mini available with a $50 Lego Star Wars Toy Purchase.

Legoland Star Wars Days is an event that is great fun for the entire family. We were quite amazed at how detailed the Star Wars Miniland displays were. The themed shows and food options were limited, however, the character meets were plentiful and were our favorite part of the offerings. If you are a fan of the Star Wars movies, then you are sure to enjoy a visit to Legoland Star Wars Days.

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular is a wickedly fun celebration during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party at Magic Kingdom. The mischievous Sanderson sisters will be back this year for a spooky good show but they need dancers to pull it off!

Auditions are being held at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Research Facility on May 15th at 7:30 PM EST and May 16th at 10:00 AM EST with sign ups occurring for an hour prior to the audition times. They are specifically looking for “male and female dancers with great technique and hip hop skills. Good acting a plus; must be able to easily interact with Sanderson Sisters.” Dancers should “be warmed up and ready to begin at the time listed.”

Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween party is a special ticketed event happening on select nights at Disney’s Magic Kingdom this fall. Catch the Sanderson sisters on stage for the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, Happy HalloWishes Fireworks show and the Boo To You Parade. Little ones will enjoy trick or treating around the park and dancing the night away at the Scream-o-ween Dance Party. 2018 dates are August 17, 24, 28 and 31, September 3, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28 and 30, October 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30 and 31.

Be sure to stop by Disney’s Animal Kingdom Research Facility May 15th or 16th for your chance to party with the Sanderson sisters on stage this fall. Form fitting attire is recommended to audition.
