Baby Loki Gets a Tour of Disneyland by Big Loki

Hold on to your hearts because this video is so precious!  Loki doesn’t have many fans on the big screen, but one little girl in Disneyland sure is!  “Baby Loki” and her sister  “Thor” had a grand tour of the Hollywood back lot of California Adventure in Anaheim.  The little girls say they aren’t fans of the heroes from the Marvel movies, but instead fell in love with the cast members within the park!  Because of  the amazing interactions in the parks with the cast members these two little ones are Loki and Thor’s (newest) biggest fans!

The cuteness factor of this video is off the charts not just from the sweet little Loki and Thor, but from the cast members guiding them on their private tour. The Marvel cast members interacted with the kids and played along as Black Panther, Dora Milaie(Black Panther), Black Widow, Gamora, and Captain America himself!  Your heart is going to melt when you see the little one say “Loki!” as she gives her new BFF a big hug!  Loki can’t be all that bad, can he?   Watch the video below!

Could the Live Action Remake of Disney’s Oliver Twist Star Adele?

Could upcoming live action remake of Disney’s Oliver Twist star Adele?!  Rumor has it that Disney is eyeing this Oscar winner for a role in this upcoming film, being written by Danny Strong. While Adele has an Oscar for providing the theme song for the James Bond movie, Skyfall, this would be the first time she appeared on the big screen!

The Sun reported that Adele, 30, would have to audition just like anyone else and that she would not be given any special treatment.   A source also said ‘Bosses are still really keen to get Adele on board. They know she has a world class voice but want to see if she can sustain that while also acting and dancing.’

‘It’s going to be a huge production and they need to cast the right people with enough stamina.’

Besides the potential Adele casting news, there is also a rumor that Eddie Redmayne is being considered for the iconic role of Oliver’s crooked mentor, Fagin.  Redmayne won an Oscar in 2014 for the film “The Theory of Everything.”

The production of this film has been in the works for several years and has been linked to Ice Cube and Danny Strong among others.

The thought is that it will take on a similar style to the 2012 hit Les Misérables, in which Redmayne played Marius Pontmercy, where the actors sing the songs live during filming, rather than dub them over in post production.

I don’t know about you, but I’d love to see Adele shine on the big screen! I can’t imagine her performance being anything other than fabulous. Stay tuned to Chip and Co for more details on the live action Disney remake of Oliver Twist as we learn them.

Delicious Salted Caramel Pecan Sundaes Found At Disneyland

Have you heard about the salted caramel pecan sundaes at Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor in Disneyland? They look amazing! Butter pecan and chocolate ice cream with a salted caramel sauce, whipped cream, and candied pecans sprinkled on top would be mighty hard to pass up.

Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor is located on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park. It serves up all of those classic treats such as Barq’s root beer ice cream float and a strawberry street car sundae. They also have a chocolate chip cookie hot fudge sundae with two scoops of vanilla ice cream and two freshly baked chocolate chip cookies. There is even a vegan ice cream bar.

The salted caramel pecan sundae is only priced at $7.49 so be sure to stop by Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlor on your next trip to Disneyland to have a taste!

Magic Shots at the Walt Disney World Resort make your vacation photos even more memorable by adding special touches, characters or effects. Classic Magic Shots have included Tinkerbell in the palm of your hand, a bunch of balloons taking you away and even Olaf with his own personal flurry. Over the past few weeks, Disney has released a few new ones.

Many of these newer Magic Shots are only offered in certain locations but Disney photographers may not be available all the time as some of them do roam the parks to help guests capture memories. Other photographers are stationed at one location constantly. If you do happen to catch a Disney photographer in one of the following locations, be sure to ask for these fantastic new Magic Shots!

Also be sure to purchase your Memory Maker in advance to save a little money on those magical Disney vacation photos. Where are my gamers at?!  Are you excited for LEGO The Incredibles? Today Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released a new LEGO The Incredibles trailer to get fan excited for the June release.  In this new clip we get our first look at the Crime Waves missions from the upcoming game, which is based on Disney•Pixar’s The Incredibles and Incredibles 2 (which hits theaters June 15th!).

From watching this new video, we learn that it takes teamwork to defeat crew of dangerous villains who have overrun the game’s dynamic hub world, in a series of fun-packed missions. In the game world, there are unique districts has been taken over by a wave of criminal masterminds, such as Syndrome and The Underminer.  During the game players must overcome multiple challenges and face epic boss battles to bring justice back to the city.

Locations from both movies serve as inspiration for the game.  There are plenty of secrets to discover and villains to face in LEGO The Incredibles’ thrilling hub world!

LEGO The Incredibles releases on June 15th, the same day as Incredibles 2 hits theaters! It will be available for PlayStation®4, Xbox One®, Nintendo Switch™ and Windows PC.

And you won’t want to miss Incredibles 2 when it soars into theaters. In this new film we’ll see Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) take the lead on a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered. We can’t wait to see how this movie plays out – one thing we know is it will be SUPER!

After it’s big debut this past March, fans of Frozen The Broadway Musical will be thrilled to hear they can catch a viewing of the Disney musical when it goes on tour this Fall 2019.

The Disney Theatrical Group announced that due to its record-setting turnout, the musical based on the 2013 animated feature will begin a North American tour this fall. Frozen The Musical

This hit Broadway musical features 12 new songs written just for the Broadway show but also include 7 familiar fan favorites that are sure to leave audiences singing along- Let it go, anyone?

Frozen on Tour will kick off at Proctors in Schenectady, NY and then travel throughout North America for a number of performances. Dates and cities have not yet been announced.

Disney Cruise Line Evaluates Safety of British Virgin Islands

After Hurricane Irma swept across the Caribbean this past Fall, many islands and territories are still hard at work trying to rebuild their lives and homes. On a recent visit to the British Virgin Islands, Russell Daya, Executive Director of Marine and Port Operations, Port Developments and Itinerary Planning for Disney Fantasy, along with representatives from other cruise lines evaluated the safety and determined whether it was time for vessels to return to the area.

Daya acknowledged the encouraging amount of progress that has been made including the removal of damaged power lines, cars and vegetation. However, there is still work to be done and at this time Disney does not feel that it is in the best interest of their guests to return sailing to the British Virgin Islands.

Disney Cruise Line

Russell Daya explained, “When we were in Cane Garden Bay earlier, there is still quite a lot of the structures that are being rebuilt. But when we look at the safety of them we look at them from a five-year-old’s eyes or a six-year-old’s eyes, they could easily wander into an area right under a construction site without that being screened off or shielded or adequately protected; then there is an accident waiting to happen”.

Disney will continue to monitor the territory’s progress, but at this time they have not set a date for when the Disney Cruise Line will return to the area.
