Do you wanna hold a snowman? Everyone’s favorite hugger is now the star of his very own cupcake. How cute is this Olaf Cupcake? As part of the Flurry of Fun at Hollywood Studios, Christmas treats galore have been popping up around the Park.

This cupcake is made of chocolate cake with buttercream icing, sugar sprinkles, and topped with a white chocolate candy, Olaf. I am absolutely loving it. The way the buttercream frosting and sugar sprinkles on top come together to look like snow really gets us into the spirit of things. It’s a bit denser than most buttercream frostings, which to me, is a good thing. It adds heft to the chocolate which is mildly flavored and light and fluffy. The two come together to balance each other and create a cupcake that is truly worth melting for.

Monorail The Walt Disney World® Resort Monorail System is undergoing refurbishment and may be on modified service and/or routes. If Guests plan to use this form or transportation during their visit they should check to be sure of the best option available on their day of travel, as alternatve transportation options will be available. Disney Skyliner We have embarked on creating a new transportation system, Disney Skyliner, which will give Guests a bird’s-eye view of Walt Disney World Resort while traveling via gondolas. Jambo House – Payment Policy Pilot Beginning February 12, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Jambo House will participate in a pilot where transactions will be handled with convenient, cash-free options. All purchases and services at the resort will accept MagicBands, credit cards, debit cards, Disney Gift Cards, Disney Rewards Redemption Cards and contactless payments such as Apple Pay, Samsung Pay or Google Pay. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn & Villas

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
Pepper Market During this time, the quick-service restaurant, Pepper Market, will undergo minor refurbishment work, but will remain in operation. If Guests would like to experience one of the other dining locations, they can visit Maya Grill, Las Ventanas, Café Rix, Laguna Bar, Siestas Cantina and the newly reimagined space, Rix Sports Bar & Grill, featuring a variety of sandwiches, salads and refreshing beverages. All amenities will remain in operation, including the Dig Site pool area, La Vida Health Club, Salon & Spa and the Iguana Arcade.	Now through Summer 2019
The Dig Site (including Feature Pool) The Dig Site, home to The Lost City of Cibola Pool, volleyball court, playground, Iguana Arcade and Siestas Cantina, will be closed for refurbishment. While this work takes place, our other exceptional amenities, including three leisure pools, dining and merchandise locations, La Vida Health Club, Salon & Spa and recreation activities, including Movies Under the Stars and Campfires with Marshmallows, will remain available.	September – Mid-December 2018
General Construction/Rooms Refurbishment During this time, amenities including dining locations (such as the newly reimagined Rix Sports Bar and Grill) and merchandise locations, pools, La Vida Health Club with the spa and salon, and recreation activities such as beach volleyball, Iguana Arcade, Movies Under the Stars and more, will remain available. Please note that noise will be heard while our Resort is undergoing refurbishments, but noise should not be heard from Guest rooms prior to 9:00am daily.	Ongoing until further notice
Disney’s Pop Century Resort
Hippy Dippy Pool The Hippy Dippy Pool is scheduled to be closed for refurbishment. During this time, Guests can use the Bowling Pool, Computer Pool and the kiddie pool. Also, Movies Under the Stars will be offered in an alternate location. Guests may notice construction noise while this refurbishment is underway, but the noise should not be heard from Guest rooms between dusk and 9:00 AM.	January 2020 – Early Spring 2020

Dole Joins Disney to Celebrate 90 Years Of Mickey

Just in time for Mickey Mouse’s 90th Anniversary on Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, Dole has updated 19 of the popular party dishes from the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s to accommodate today’s vegan and healthy-eating demands.

Launched on Oct. 15 and continuing through January 2019, the program presents Mickey Mouse as the world’s Everyday Hero and True Original through 19 new Dole Mickey Mouse-inspired recipes and how-to recipe videos themed to different Mickey Mouse eras plus images of the True Original on tens of millions of DOLE® Bananas, Pineapples, packaged salads, and vegetables in the U.S and Canadian supermarkets continent-wide.

Dole first teamed up with Disney in 1976 when the produce giant become the sponsor of Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room at the Disneyland Resort and at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World –a sponsorship that continues in California and resulted in the creation of the iconic Dole Whip now available at Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide.

At the heart of the program are 19 original Dole entrée, salad, side dish, smoothie, and dessert recipes made with DOLE® fresh fruits and vegetable and themed to one of three Mickey Mouse eras –Classic, Old School, or Modern.

The six “Classic Mickey” recipes, honoring Mickey Mouse in the 1920s and 1930s, include:

“Dole Mushroom Rockefeller, ”a non-seafood alternative to Oysters Rockefeller:

“Steamboat Willie Green Apple Waldorf, ”a Mickey version of the classic New York salad;

“Dole Pineapple Julep Smoothie, ”a nutritious take on the New Orleans cocktail;

Creamy Caesar Sprouts Salad, ”featuring fresh DOLE Brussels sprouts

the meatless “Dole Hearty Veggie Nutloaf, ”

and perhaps the most-iconic pineapple dessert ever, the “Dole Pineapple Downside-Up Cake.”

Inspired by one of Mickey’s favorite expressions, Dole is also offering two flavors of “Gosh-Golly-Gee Clubhouse Smoothies Remix” – Pineapple & Carrot, and PB&J.

In 2006 Disney became the first major media company to establish a Nutrition Guideline Policy to associate its brands and characters with a more nutritious portfolio of foods and beverages.

This year Dole and Disney come together to celebrate with four months of activities highlighted by fresh takes on classic recipes and new dishes honoring the iconic True Original and the two brands’ long collaborative friendship.

The new recipes are the latest twist of Dole’s yearlong “Powering the Hero Within” (#DoleHero) initiative, which culminates with a four-month salute to Mickey Mouse’s 90^th combining new recipes and how-to recipe videos themed to different Mickey eras with images of Disney’s true original on tens of millions of DOLE^® Bananas, Pineapples, packaged salads and vegetables in U.S and Canadian supermarkets.

“Dole and Disney have a rich history of working together toward happier, healthier families, and encouraging kids of all ages to eat better and be more active,” said William Goldfield, Dole’s director of communications. “Since our relationship has always centered on the intersection of fun and food, we knew we wanted to celebrate Mickey’s 90thin a big way.”

The 13 remaining Mickey recipes will be unveiled in the coming weeks. All 19 original recipes, videos, and other content will be available on the Dole Pinterest page or at www.dole.com/disneymickeymouse.
