Magic Kingdom

A favorite among guests- Disney’s Celebrate America – A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky fireworks show is, by far, the best fireworks display Disney has to offer!

  • July 3rd at 9:15 pm
  • July 4th at 9:15 pm

Dance parties will be held in Frontierland and Tomorrowland on July 3 and July 4.

The Muppets Present…Great Moments in American History. Join Miss Piggy, Kermit, Fozzie Bear and friends for hysterical, historical sketches and song. The live show is performed daily in Liberty Square.

Epcot

IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth with special July 4 finale at 9 PM on July 4. The perennial “kiss goodnight” at Epcot will include a special fireworks finale that paints the sky red, white and blue.

Voices of Liberty will perform across from the American Pavilion at the American Gardens Theater stage in the World Showcase. Costumed in finery from the 1800s, Voices of Liberty is an exceptionally talented choir of a cappella singers. This beloved 8-member group stirs hearts and lifts emotions with each performance.

Meet your favorite Disney pals all decked out in their best red, white, and blue outfits to celebrate Independence Day! You can find them throughout the day at the American Adventure Pavilion.

Hollywood Studios

Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular will perform its usual show on July 4th at 10:00 pm.

THE FOURTH AT THE FORT

Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground will offer several special events around the Fourth of July holiday:

  • The Fourth of July 5K Run will take place Tuesday, July 3. Pre-registration is available June 24-30 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Fort Wilderness Bike Barn. On-site registration begins at 7 a.m. in the field next to Mickey’s Backyard BBQ; the run begins from that location at 7:30 a.m.
  • The Fourth of July Golf Cart Parade begins at 4 p.m. on July 4. Registration will be open June 24-30 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Fort Wilderness Bike Barn.
  • The Fourth of July Beach Bash at Clementine’s Beach will take place from 6-11 p.m. on July 4. Guests will enjoy a live DJ, dancing, games, contests, a movie, and more. In addition, the Fort Wilderness food truck will be available in the settlement area with delicious items for purchase.

PATRIOTIC TREATS

Select theme parks and resorts will offer exclusive dessert items in honor of Independence Day.

Examples include:

  • A Fourth of July cupcake featuring an apple-pie filling at Creature Comforts and Isles of Java at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
  • A sparkly red-white-and-blue coconut macaroon dipped in white chocolate at BoardWalk Bakery at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort.
  • Patriotic dipped strawberries and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse mini-domes at Amorette’s at Disney Springs.

Please keep in mind the 4th of July holiday is one of the busiest times of the year. It’s best to arrive early and expect to stay throughout the night. The parks will reach capacity and Guests will not be able to enter. Disney Resort Guests will be able to enter the parks, it just may not be the park of your choice if it gets too busy.

Tickets for Mickey’s Halloween at Disneyland Now On Sale

Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland

As we previously reported, Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland is back for 2018! We are now happy to pass along that tickets just went on sale for this ultimate Halloween party!

Guests are invited to put on your favorite costume and hit Disneyland Park for a night of frights and fun. Trick-or-treating, spectacular fireworks, dancing, eerie entertainment, and Disney Characters will be dressed up for the occasion and even some dastardly Disney villains.

Mickey’s Halloween Party at Disneyland is offered on 15 select nights in September and October. The party runs from 6 pm to 11 pm on Monday through Thursday nights. On Friday nights, the part starts at 7 pm and lasts until midnight.

The purchase of a separate event admission ticket is required to attend this spooktacular event. The ticket for this event includes admission to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park three hours before the party begins.

Ticket prices range from $105 to $130 depending on the night you choose to attend.

Incredibles 2 Predicted To Have Record Breaking Debut

14 years ago, the world fell in love with the Incredibles family. Now, we are finally getting the sequel! All of your favorites will be returning including Bob, Helen, Violet, Dash and Jack Jack. Frozone and Edna Mode will also make appearances.

The Incredibles 2 is gearing up to become the highest debuting animated film in North America. Experts have already predicted that the opening weekend will be incredible! Estimates are putting it at over $140 million. That surpasses Finding Dory, released in 2016, that came in at just $135 million.

This time, it’s Mrs. Incredible (or Elastigirl as she’s known to her fans), that must save the day. Mr. Incredible will be in charge of the day to day domestic responsibilities.

Samuel L. Jackson, who voices the superhero Frozone, recently stated that “For a very long time, people have been wanting this film. I think people who saw the film at a certain age have had kids now, and they’re showing them (the original) so they can bring them to this one.”

Today McDonalds launched a new Happy Meal roll out with Disney and Pixar! For the first time in over a decade we’ll finally see Disney toys in a Happy Meal! The Incredibles 2 Happy Meal Toys feature all of our favorite supers along side Incredibles themed sides!

The assortment offers 10 new toys, featuring the whole Parr family, and friends! Each toy has something special about it, such as Mr. Incredible smashing a rock, and a rolling Dash. These are available at participating McDonald’s locations while supplies last, and each McDonald’s may have a different assortment. So far between us at Chip and Co that have gone we’ve gotten a couple of Mr. Incredibles, and Elasticgirls, but we’ll keep hunting for more!

The boxes are fully themed too! One side features the Incredibles with a different character as the focus, one side features the iconic Happy Meal face, and the other two feature Incredibles themed games and activities. The activities are also different depending on the character featured.

The theme for The Incredibles 2 campaign is “Be Incredible Together”. Several of us from Chip and Co. decided to go together with our families today to check out our local McDonald’s today, and as you can see all of our Kiddos loved the new theme!

Not only are there Incredibles toys, and boxes, but even the sides and milk feature the characters too! The packages feature random characters, so your apples might have Violet this week, but Dash next week!

Some participating locations may even have Incredibles 2 stickers! These are not at all locations, but are a special treat if you happen to find them. They remind me of the round character stickers Cast Members pass out at the Disney Parks and Resorts.

2018 Eat to the Beat Dining

Each night during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, the America Gardens Theatre serves up performances from major recording artists during the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Once again, guests can take advantage of guaranteed seating with the very popular 2018 Eat to the Beat Dining Packages. Festival Guests can feast on fabulous breakfast, lunch or dinner options before seeing performances by some of the music industry’s most iconic acts.

Dine on fare from one of 15 unique eateries around Epcot. Each breakfast package includes one (1) buffet or family-style dining (where applicable). Each lunch or dinner package includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert—or one (1) full buffet or family-style dining (where applicable)—along with a non-alcoholic beverage. Each package also includes one (1) guaranteed seat to the Eat to the Beat Concert held on the same day.

Course Enhancements Coming to Disney Golf at Walt Disney World

As you are probably already aware of, several magical enhancements are underway at Walt Disney World and the Disney Golf golf course are not to be left out!

Bunker upgrades are scheduled for the Lake Buena Vista, Palm and Oak Trail courses similar to the enhancements that were made at the Magnolia course in 2015. The upgraded bunkers at Lake Buena Vista and Oak Trail will feature the super-popular Mickey-shaped bunker similar to the one on No. 6 on the Magnolia course.

The Palm Course is currently closed for a scheduled aeration process but is scheduled to reopen on June 18. When it reopens, it will feature re-imagined bunkers and improved drainage capabilities.

In addition to the Mickey-shaped bunkers, the enhanced bunkers at the Lake Buena Vista course will include adding new powdery white sand. At Oak Trail, the greens are being restored to their original size and totally resurfaced utilizing paspalum grass for the first time ever on a Disney putting green.

The upgrades at Lake Buena Vista will begin on June 18 while the upgrades at Oak Trail are scheduled to being on June 25. Both courses should be finished by mid-August.

Disney Golf has announced special discounted rates are available at Lake Buena Vista and Oak Trail in addition to regular rates at the Magnolia and Palm courses, which are open for play all summer, along with FootGolf, the hybrid soccer and golf game recently added to Oak Trail.

June 7 was an extra-magical day for former New York Yankees Pitcher and All-Star Mariano Rivera and his family! On June 7, The Rivera Family made a visit to the Magic Kingdom and Walt Disney World to hang with Goofy in his baseball best and posed for s few photos.

The 13-time Major League Baseball All-Star is no stranger to the Disney Parks, as Rivera spent many years in Lake Buena Vista,  Florida, with the Yankees competing against the Atlanta Braves during spring training at Champion Stadium at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. Rivera played 19 seasons in Major League Baseball and spent all of them with the Yankees. Rivera also won five World Series championships with New York and is MLB’s career leader in saves (652) and games finished (952).

Looks like a great time was had by the Rivera Family! Now, let’s go New York Yankees!

Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival is a little over two months away and guests will be able to enjoy all that it has to offer from August 30th to November 12th. This is one of the most popular events at Epcot so we wanted to share a rundown of all the 2018 Food and Wine Festival Special Events scheduled for this year.

Beginning June 14, 2018, you can book your spot for these limited-time events. Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, and Tables in Wonderland can all take advantage of early booking starting TODAY!

Culinary Demonstrations

Cook up a new kind of cuisine by learning from some of the world’s most celebrated chefs!

During each 45-minute demonstration, renowned gourmets will impart years of kitchen wisdom while whipping up a special delicious dish. Attendees can collect tips and tricks to sharpen their skills, as well as savor the exquisite flavors at each presentation. The demonstrations are scheduled Monday through Saturday at 12:30 PM at the Festival Center Stage and the cost is $17 per guest, plus tax.

Beverage Seminars

Sample select adult beverages at a 45-minute seminar that puts you in touch with your inner wine, beer or spirit connoisseur. Each day, sommeliers and other beverage experts will share their extensive knowledge at these deliciously informative presentations. Seminars are scheduled Monday through Thursdays 11:15 AM and 2:30 PM, Friday and Saturdays 11:15 AM and 4:30 PM, Sundays 4:30 PM. They are being held at the Festival Center Stage and the cost is $17 per guest, plus tax.

Party for the Senses

Enjoy a feast that pays tribute to the sensory arts! Join acclaimed chefs, personalities and entertainers for Party for the Senses, an incredible night filled with food, fun and friends. From the delectable menu to impressive entertainment, it’s the perfect opportunity for foodies to mark another year at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival with connoisseurs of all kinds.

The event also includes reserved seating for the 5:30 PM performance of the Eat to the Beat concert series as an added bonus! Party for the Senses is held at World ShowPlace Events Pavilion in Epcot on select Saturdays (September 22, October 6, 13, 20, and November 10) during the Festival from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The cost is from $229 to $349 per guest – plus tax (gratuity is included).

Eat to the Beat Dining Package

Enjoy an amazing meal at select Epcot restaurants, then make sure to save room for the pièce de la résistance—guaranteed seating at the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Festival Guests can feast on fabulous breakfast, lunch or dinner options before seeing performances by some of the music industry’s most iconic acts. Working side-by-side with chefs, beverage experts and other kitchen wizards, attendees can roll up their sleeves for a hands-on lesson that teaches one of many different culinary and beverage skills. Each guided, interactive experience offers a multi-sensory smorgasbord—from whipping up sweet treats and savory sensations to exploring cocktails, spirits and wines.

Pick up useful tips during this engaging collaboration between a featured chef and a beverage presenter. Best part? Attendees get to sample the dish and beverage pairing created during the demonstration!

During this event, you’ll kick things off with a sparkling wine toast, enjoy an amazing spread of flavorful dishes—and listen to the celebrity guest dish out their favorite tips and tricks.
