Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort is an all-two-bedroom Polynesian-themed oceanfront resort located one mile from the iconic Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier on Orlando’s closest beach. Formerly known as Wakulla Suites, Westgate Cocoa Beach Resort has undergone a $15 million comprehensive renovation which includes full upgrades to every aspect of the property, including its 120 two-bedroom suites, hotel lobby, courtyard and pool. Reservations are now being accepted at www.WestgateCocoaBeach.com.

We all know and love the beautifully decorated cake pops and candy apples at the Disneyland Resort. With Pixar Pier newly opened at Disney California Adventure park, the Disneyland Resort Candy Makers have really outdone themselves with the Pixar-themed sweets. But have you ever wondered how they create these popular treats?

First up let’s take a look at “Up”-themed Dug and Russell Chocolate Cake Pops. This chocolate cake pop is dipped in yellow chocolate and decorated with white chocolate, orange sugar, and small round candy-coated chocolates.

Next up is the Pixar Ball Cake Pop that is a vanilla cake pop inspired by everyone’s favorite bouncing ball! Then they are dipped in yellow chocolate and decorated with sugar and fondant accents.

Orlando City Soccer Club

The Orlando City Soccer Club got in on the Toy Story Land fun when Sarge and a troop of Green Army Men were deployed to the team’s training facility. Players Jonathan Spector, Joe Bendik, Uri Rosell and Sacha Kljestan brought the scale of Toy Story Land to life and underwent a series of challenging drills with a giant inflatable Pixar ball and a series of oversized obstacles.

Beware of The Claw! After hearing reports that Little Green Men landed at Orlando International Airport, we had to go check it out ourselves. And, they might be the cutest Little Green Men we have ever seen!

In celebration of the opening of Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Orlando International Airport has installed Little Green Men right near the Disney EarPort Store. Travelers are invited “say cheese” and take a selfie with the adorable creatures.

Not flying into Orlando for your visit to Walt Disney World? No worries! You can still see the Little Green Men and even take a spin with them on Toy Story Land’s newest ride – Alien Swirling Saucers.

A brand new transportation system is coming to the Walt Disney World Resort to add even more magic to your future vacation experiences. The Disney Skyliner will soon give guests a bird’s-eye view of Walt Disney World Resort. The transportation system will connect Disney’s Art of Animation, Pop Century, and Caribbean Beach resorts and other locations with Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at Epcot. And many of the gondolas with Disney Skyliner will feature favorite Disney characters. We were recently at Caribbean Beach Resort and was able to grab some updated photos of the Skyliner construction. Take a look at the pictures below.

Construction has been steady at each of the sites that the new Skyliner will serve select Disney resorts, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. A completion date has not yet been announced. We can confirm progress is being made over at Epcot’s International Gateway, the entrance from Disney’s Yacht Club, Disney’s Beach Club and Disney’s Boardwalk Inn to the World Showcase.
