It’s that time of year when the holidays bring even more magic to Disney experiences available for guests. Though we are familiar with the events taking place in the parks, not everyone knows there are plenty of seasonal events and offerings for guests staying at The Disney Parks Resorts as well.
For guests staying at Port Orleans French Quarter Resort at Walt Disney World in Orlando, FL, there is a fun event for the whole family to do together. The Winter Wonderland Snowflake Scavenger Hunt. This scavenger hunt is a great chance to tour the resort and follow the clues written on the sheet given to guests who wish to participate.
The sheet states: “Welcome to Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter! Our Resort has been sprinkled with glittering snowflakes, and we need your help to find them all. Follow the clues on this guide to find our flurry of snowflakes, each one framing a beloved Disney character. Write the name of the character and the location you found them in the blank space provided, and return your completed clue guide to the Front Desk to receive your frosty surprise!”.
The hunt takes you around the Port Orleans French Quarter Resort as you follow the 10 clues to locate the snowflakes hidden throughout the resort. Once guests finish the adventurous hunt they can bring their filled out Winter Wonderland Snowflake Scavenger Hunt sheet to the Cast Members at the Front Desk of the resort and get a special reward. Guests of all ages will enjoy this festive event while it is offered through the holiday season. We hope you, along with your friends and family, can make some magical memories together this holiday season, and be sure to check out the other seasonal events and offerings available at the Disney Parks and Resorts.
