Minty Minnie Mouse Ears Are Fresh and Cool For Spring

Ever since the Disney Parks began their color trend Minnie Ears, I’ve been wishing for mint colored ones! It looks like my wish has finally been granted, because new Minty Minnie Mouse Ears have made their debut! These cute ears are in one of my favorite color trends, and even have a splash of rosy pink for contrast.

These minty fresh new ears are showered in tons of lustrous micro sequins, for a ultimate sparkle! The bow is a gathered flat ribbon bow with glitter of all sized packed on, so it stands out with the shiny ears. inside the band is lined with a soft pink velvet, which is not just cute, but keeps them comfy too!

We got to take a sneak peek at these, and other upcoming Minnie Ears earlier this year, and have been eagerly awaiting their debut ever since. We’ve already seen the “it’s a small world” ears, Castle Ears, and Flower Ears, next we hope to see the Lollipop Minnie Ears! You can find the new Minty Minnie Mouse Ears throughout both Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts now.

Traditional English Meat Pie Is New At Yorkshire County Fish Shop

Something new and delicious is coming to the United Kingdom Pavilion in EPCOT. The Yorkshire County Fish Shop, known famously for it’s Fish & Chips basket will add a new traditional option to their menu.

Starting March 6th, you’ll be able to try a traditional English Meat Pie. This hand pie is made with pie crust dough that’s filled with chicken, mushroom, bacon, leeks, thyme, and nutmeg. All of those fillings are mixed with a creamy gravy and the crust is crispy and golden, all served with a side of “chips”.

This is definitely a great addition for meat-lovers, as well as a new option for those that love the traditional flavors served-up here daily. For the most authentic experience, be sure to pair your meat pie with a pint of Bass Ale or Harp Lager.

March has arrived and spring is around the corner! Soon we will all be wearing, eating, and drinking all things green as we hope for the luck o’ the Irish. St. Patrick’s day is just around the corner! This year you can celebrate St. Paddy’s Day All Month at Disney Springs and Downtown Disney. Both The Edison at Disney Springs and Uva Bar and Cafe at Downtown Disney are celebrating the day all month with special menu offerings.

In Florida, head over to The Edison for a “The Luck of the Irish Burger”. This burger is a big bite with a beef patty made from the restaurant’s special blend of sirloin, short rib, and brisket ground beef. The burger is accompanied on the bun with corned beef, coleslaw, crispy potatoes and a slather of whole grain mustard. The Edison’s March drink special is the perfect accompaniment to the burger. The beverage, dubbed “Paddy’s Coffee” is black coffee that is spiked with Bushmill Black Bush Irish Whiskey, St. George Nola Coffee Liqueur, and for a touch of sweetness Agave. The drink is then chilled over ice and strained into a glass. “Paddy’s Coffee” is then served with Peruvian coffee beans that have been smothered in dark chocolate.

On the west coast, Uva’s Bar and Cafe is offering the “Irish Pub Burger”. This burger is made of certified Angus Beef, with sliced corned beef, Swiss cheese, braised cabbage, pickles, and then drizzled with Russian dressing. All of this yumminess falls in between the two halves of a potato bun. House-made potato chips are served with the burger and the whole meal pairs nicely with a Guinness.

So whether you find yourself on the east or west coast this March stop by The Edison, or Uva Bar and Cafe and enjoy St. Paddy’s day all month long with some awesome burgers.

Get excited Food Truck lovers! There is a new Mac & Cheese Food Truck making its way to Disney Springs! This new food truck will be joining a fleet of food trucks already stationed on the West Side of Disney Springs.

The new Mac & Cheese food truck will not disappoint the food truck lovers, or the Mac & Cheese lovers for that matter, with these mouth-watering options they will be serving up! First, you have to try the Crunchy Mac & Cheese! This Mac & Cheese is made with six different cheeses and is topped with, wait for it, crunchy cheese puffs!! This dish is for the cheese lovers everywhere!

Sound too cheesy for you? How about the Bacon Cheeseburger Mac-N-Cheese? This dish made at the Mac & Cheese Food truck is created with creamy cheddar and American cheese mixed with ground beef. Enjoy this dish topped with bacon, shredded lettuce, tomato, sliced pickles, ketchup, mustard, and crispy potato sticks! Is your mouth watering yet?!

This mouthwatering delight starts with a full-sized Ghirardelli Chocolate Brownie, separated into slices. Those are then joined by two scoops of vanilla ice cream (or a flavor of your choosing). Top all of that off with caramel sauce, sea salt, and handmade hot chocolate fudge! Are you drooling yet?

For those heading to Disneyland or Disney California Adventure this month, here is a list of temporary closures and refurbishments that you’ll want to be aware of. So take note and adjust your park itineraries accordingly!

Disneyland

Sleeping Beauty Castle & Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough-From January 17, 2019 through spring 2019, Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough will be closed for refurbishment. From January 7 through spring, the exterior of Sleeping Beauty Castle will also undergo refurbishment.

D-Ticket pool, Monorail pool and Waterslides, and Mickey and Minnie spas -Re-opening in March 2019
Between January 7, 2019 and March 2019, the D-Ticket pool, Monorail pool and Waterslides, and Mickey and Minnie spas will be unavailable for Guest use. Guests are invited to enjoy the E-Ticket pool. Guests looking to experience a waterslide will have access to the California Streamin’ slide at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Guests may see and hear construction work in various areas. To minimize any disruptions, work will be limited to the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.
Monorail pool and Waterslides -Closed March through May 2019
The Monorail pool and Waterslides will be unavailable for Guest use. During this timeframe, Guests are invited to enjoy the E-Ticket pool, the D-Ticket pool and the Mickey and Minnie spas. Please note that work in the pool area will still be ongoing near the D-Ticket pool and Mickey and Minnie spas. Guests looking to experience a waterslide will have access to the California Streamin’ slide at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel. Guests may see and hear construction work in various areas. To minimize any disruptions, work will be limited to the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. daily.

March 2019 Hot Dog Of The Month At Casey’s Corner

It is now officially March! Do you know what that means? A new hot dog of the month at Casey’s Corner!

Casey’s Corner located in Magic Kingdom theme park is the perfect hot dog offering for the month of March! It perfectly combines a hot dog with the food you would typically find around St. Patrick’s Day. The hot dog of the month even has a fitting name!

The Corned Beef Hash Hot Diggity Dog features an all-beef hot dog. The hot dog is topped with crispy potatoes, a blend of sautéed corned beef, cabbage, onions and carrots, and a Blarney Sauce drizzle. It is served with your choice of French fries or Apple Slices.

The Foot-long version costs $13.49 and while the regular costs $11.49. As always, you can choose to have this topping applied to fries! The Loaded Fries cost $6.49.

Tortuga Tavern is a quick-service location that offers American cuisine. If you are on the Disney Dining Plan, it will use one quick-service credit entitlement. This is the place to get the tastiest grub, like turkey legs and hot dogs, after your adventure aboard Pirates of the Caribbean!

If you are like me and just want to come here for the Mickey Confetti Pretzel, that’s okay too! The Mickey-shaped pretzel is prepared like normal, but is then dipped in Marshmallow Fluff and finished off with Mickey-shaped confetti sprinkles!

The Mickey Confetti Pretzel will cost you $6.59 and is not a part of the Disney Dining Plan or a snack credit.
