Each item captured the whimsical spirit of Mary Poppins in fantastic detail.

This Mary Poppins trifle consists of layers of pound cake, mixed berries, raspberry jam, and pastry creme and is topped with a candy Mary Poppins silhouette. I don’t know about you, but I think that sounds amazing! You can get it for $13.99 (price includes a souvenir spoon).

How cute is this cake? Fashioned after Mary’s famous hat, this chocolate cake is finished with the signature daisy that makes her hat so very recognizable. This delectable treat also goes for $13.99 and includes the souvenir spoon.

I don’t know about you but one of my favorite things to do at Disney is to watch the gigantic Candy Canes being made. There is something so immensely satisfying about it and I could just stand there and watch all day. I also love to watch the Candy Apple makers and….well just about all of it actually. The candymakers Disneyland have been hard at work creating delicious treats! You’ll want to hurry though, this festive fare is only available through Jan. 6, 2019. Letters For Santa at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe with Completed Refurbishment

Christmas is in the air. Here at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at the Magic Kingdom Park in Walt Disney World, it’s always Christmas. You’ll always find gorgeous ornaments and delightful stockings any time of the year. At Christmastime, children are invited to mail a letter to Santa Claus.

Placed near the cash register area you will find crayons and clipboard with a letter template children can easily fill out. Santa’s bright red mailbox marked “Letters For Santa” is sitting right next to the clipboard and crayons so once the child completes the letter they can pop it right into the mailbox. I’m sure Santa picks up his mail after the parade and before he heads back to the North Pole.

Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in the Liberty Square section of Magic Kingdom Park has recently completed a quick refurbishment that began in September of this year.

Even though it was undergoing magical enhancements the shop did remain open throughout the process. It’s no wonder how easy it is to spend hours browsing around the shop taking in all of the ornaments, nutcrackers, and personalized Christmas gifts the shop has to offer. It’s so wonderful that it’s Christmas every day here.

Cirque du Soleil in Disney Springs is Holding Auditions

If you’ve ever gone to a Cirque du Soleil show and walked away thinking “Hey! I could do that!” Now is your chance! Auditions are being held for a BRAND NEW SHOW in development. Cirque du Soleil is looking for a Mime or physical actor to play a non-speaking role. If you’re interested check out the requirements below!

Character’s traits:
Tall, slim man
Plays the piano
Height 6’00” (1.83 cm) and up
Fatherlike figure.

Requirements:
Ability to portray character’s traits
Extensive training and professional experience in mime or physical acting
Piano skills, a strong asset
Experience working with or comfortable performing alongside kids between 10 and 12 years of age
Be available starting November 2019 for a minimum of two years.
If you meet the above requirements, please submit an application. To include in your application:
A CV/resumé (including years of training and professional experience, height, weight, date of birth, citizenship, etc.)
2 photos (one headshot and one full-length photo)
A maximum one-minute presentation (slate) to the camera in English: tell us your name, your age, your city of residence, general background and your reasons for wanting to join Cirque du Soleil
1 video (maximum 5 minutes) of a physical acting performance on stage or in a studio
1 video about any other skill that you may have (maximum – 3 minutes).

One of the best parts of EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays is the Holiday Kitchens.

Part of the France pavilion’s Holiday Kitchens is the Spiced Rum Punch Slushy, and if you haven’t tried it yet, be sure you do when you visit EPCOT now through December 30.

The Spiced Rum Punch Slushy is an icy cold delicious drink that is made with Spiced Rum, Rhum Clement V.S.O.P. and Orange and Pineapple Juice with Cinnamon. It’s a delectable specialty cocktail with a sweet and tart flavor. Don’t worry–the spiced rum is more fruity and sweet than it is spicy!

This Just In- Skyline Update – Epcot Terminal is Looking Great- We have been reporting on the progress of the Disney Skyliner for a while now and seeing the project come to life is thrilling! The mural that adorns the terminal looks to be complete and workers are busy with other assembly tasks. Let’s take a peek at the newest images of the work;

We were stretching up tall to look over the construction walls. We spied a technician working on the roof structure. If we zoom in,

We can see a cherry picker being used to work on the metal framing of a portion of the roof structure. Advancement on the terminal means it won’t be long before we can catch the birds-eye-view of the parks. Exciting details! We reported recently on the gondolas that will transport park guests from terminal to terminal.

We noticed a flurry of activity on another structure that is part of the project. It can be seen over the construction fence. This portion of the gondola is where the direction changes along the route.

As construction workers keep busy on the building site, our own worker bees have been busy collecting updates. Earlier this week we received an update to the opening, Fall 2019! Such good news for travelers planning their Walt Disney World visits. The Skyliner will connect Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Carribean Beach Resort as well as the new Riviera Resort (openning soon), Art of Animation Resort and the Pop Centrury Resort. Just in time for the busy fall season and the much anticipated opening Star Wars: Galaxies Edge.

Over the weekend Disney released a beautiful designer collection celebrating Mickey through the years. There was a gorgeous Dooney & Bourke collection that sold out pretty quickly, as well as a matching MagicBand and Mickey Mouse Sketch Dress. The beautiful print showcases sketches of Mickey Mouse as he’s evolved over the years.

Cars Land is Ready for Christmas

Christmas has landed in Cars Land at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. The citizens of Radiator Springs have decked the town hall and hung the lights on the trees, and we thing it’s something you should see.

We packed our bags and took a road trip down old Route 66 and wound up in the small town of Radiator Springs at Christmas time. The citizens were welcoming and full of holiday spirit. Take a look at some photos from our trip!

The twinkling lights in the tree and along the front of the building only made the Radiator Springs Gift Shop even more radiant than usual.

This glistening garland was tastefully wrapped around the sign for Fillmore’s Taste-In.

When you feel you are almost empty, you can fuel up at Flo’s V8 Cafe, which really glows at night!

Luigi’s Casa Della Tires added a bit of holiday trim to their Leaning Tower of Tires. Find this near the holiday renamed attraction “Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl”.

We also spotted some clever movie posters based off some popular human holiday films. I don’t know about you, but every year my family and I sit down to watch “The Santa Clutch”.

Even Sarge got into the holiday spirit and decorated the tree outside his bunker in true patriotic spirit, with red, white, and blue strands of lights.

At the holidays there is nothing better than a cozy warm fireplace, and you’ll feel the same way at Sally’s Cozy Cone Motel. They may be booked through the holidays, but you can still go for a cruise through the traffic cone based motel and see all the themed decorations.

We also snapped a few shots of the other decorations seen around the park. Take a drive around town to see the Christmas lights on buildings and trees and see the hanging Tire Wreaths.

Cars Land is full of holiday cheer from top to gear. Be sure to go and see it for yourself this year!

It’s no secret I have a Minnie Mouse ears obsession, and I also love sparkles and glitter. I also probably have a dozen of those reversible sequin mermaid pillows in my home too. Flower Child Goods on Etsy has taken both of these obsessions of mine, and created these gorgeous Reversible Sequin Minnie Mouse Ears.
