Spring Menu Preview at Disney Springs B Resort and Spa American Kitchen

We were invited to visit the new Disney Springs area B Resort & Spa to try out the new “Spring Menu” in the resort’s restaurant, American Kitchen. This four-hour long event and 7-course meal of savory delights finished by a sweet ending has us eager to return for more!

The American Kitchen is located centrally in the resort and easily accessible from the main lobby. The very “Americana” vibe flows throughout the kitchen with a “farm to table” fresh feeling. You can treat yourself to breakfast served 7am to 11am, Lunch served 12pm to 5pm, or dinner served 5pm to 10pm seven days a week with the bar serving 12pm to 12sm daily.

The “Spring Tasting Menu” offered for the event was a 7-course marathon extravaganza of food! Starting off with “Bread Service” featuring American Kitchen Signature Umami Butter! So delish!

Next was a “Small Bites Tour” featuring a Carn Con Queso Eggroll, Fried Chicken “Oyster” Tempura Avocado followed up by the AK Wedge. A baby iceberg, charred scallion blue cheese, house bacon, heirloom tomatoes, with red onion.

The tasting was followed up by a Smoked Fried Chicken with house aioli, coleslaw, and pickled onion topped with house pickles.

On to the next! Beet Root Ravioli(tasted better than it sounds) is a house made beetroot ricotta ravioli and local goat cheese toasted pine nut and beet “soil” with citrus.

East Coast Bouillabaisse featuring local white fish, Florida rock shrimp, scallops, mussel, Peruvian potato, lobster broth, and a big slab or crusty bread!

Finally, our main course, the 120 day dry aged Certified Angus Beef Tomahawk Ribeye served with three potato gratin and steakhouse mushrooms.

If you love desserts like me you must try The Candy Bar!  Not only is the presentation beautiful, but the taste is also divine. It is a house made bourbon vanilla nougat on a milk chocolate hazelnut

The menu at The American Kitchen is extensive and you can find something for everyone. I had an excellent time and will be back with the family soon!
