One of Hollywoods “It Couples” John Legend and Chrissy Teigen took their kids to the Disneyland Resort to enjoy a family vacation fit for royalty. The family enjoyed the new Disney Princess Breakfast at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel that has just opened this year.

At the breakfast, the family enjoyed a delicious three-course gourmet brunch and met princesses Tiana, Jasmine, Aurora, Ariel, Belle and Pocahontas. After dining, the family headed to the outdoor patio for intimate story time with Belle and special lessons with Pocahontas before enjoying a day full of adventure at Disneyland Resort. The highlights of their day were the breakfast and Mickey’s Soundsational Parade at Disneyland Park.

Official Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Consumer Products Packaging Revealed

Star Wars Celebration in Chicago this weekend has revealed so many details about the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and what we can expect from the new parks. We have been watching for news to come in all day long and so far we have not been disappointed.

We just got word that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker products will be available starting October 4, 2019 as one part of Triple Force Friday – a celebration that will see product set for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, The Mandalorian and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. We were given a sneak peek at the packaging for the toys here.

Packaging reveals for The Mandalorian and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to come at a later date. Fans on-site at Star Wars Celebration Chicago got the chance to fulfill their action figure fantasy by taking a photo in a life-size packaging replica.

Disney Partners with Coca-Cola for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge

Disney has been working with Coca Cola for new Star Wars drinks that will be appearing at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge at both Disney World and Disneyland!

You will be able to buy Droid shaped bottles and cans with labels in Aurebesh!

Unveiled today at Star Wars Celebration it looks like they will sell Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite and Dasani water.

Best Bites At Disneyland Resort For April 2019

Disneyland Resort is always introducing new mouthwatering entrees and snacks to enjoy and this month is no different. We have rounded up a few of the best bites being offered in April.

Disneyland Park is offering a few specialty dishes this weekend only on April 13th and April 14th. Stop by the Hungry Bear Restaurant to try the Classic Brownie á la Mode. A warm, decadent brownie topped with vanilla ice cream, rich caramel sauce, whipped cream, and a cherry. Over at Harbour Galley, try the Cheese Fondue for Two with your favorite friend or sweetheart. Served in a sourdough bread bowl, the white cheddar cheese sauce is paired with broccoli, cauliflower, bell peppers, tomatoes, carrots, mushrooms, and andouille sausage. French Market Restaurant is offering a Bowtie Pasta with caramelized beef, sweet onions, herbs, and mushrooms in a cream sauce.

Two new shareable dishes have been added to the “Shorts” to Share menu at Lamplight Lounge this month. Sink your teeth into Kobe Beef Sliders with beer and bacon cheese sauce, tomato-habanero chutney, lettuce, and pickled onions served on toasted Amish buns. A new feature added to the menu is the “Spotlight Nachos”- new rotational nachos! Currently, you can enjoy the Barbacoa Nachos with chile-spiced beef barbacoa and house-made tortilla chips topped with pinto bean purée, spicy tomatillo salsa, onions, cilantro, chipotle cheese sauce, queso fresco, and pickled jalapeños.

Phantom Manor Reopening Date!

Welcome foolish mortals… Disneyland Paris has just announced the reopening of Phantom Manor! After months of closure, Phantom Manor is reopening its doors on the 3rd May for guests to enjoy the reimagined attraction and explore the mystery of Ravenswood mansion.

Disneyland Paris has released a teaser trailer for the reopening of Phantom Manor… enter but beware! For more information about the attraction, click here.

Update: according to Disneyland Paris Annual Passholder Facebook group, Infinity Passholders can witness firsthand the reopening of the Phantom Manor on Wednesday 1st May between 2 pm-9 pm. Likewise, on Thursday 2nd May Infinity & Magic Plus Pass holders can visit Phantom Manor between 10 am- 6 pm!

Live Action ‘Lady and the Tramp’ Set to Release on Disney+

Live Action ‘Lady and the Tramp’ Set to Release on Disney+. With the big news about the Disney+ launch in November 2019, we are sure to see an uptick in content being announced for the streaming service.

It was recently announced that Disney+ would be launching in November of 2019 for $6.99/month, beating out most competitors, including Netflix, with an affordable and much desired direct-to-consumer streaming service. Bob Iger has stated that ‘everything’ Disney will be available for streaming via Disney+. This means we will now have access to Disney content previously held in the Disney Vault. There will also be content that will be exclusively available on Disney+, including different series from Star Wars, Marvel Studios, and more.

This live-action adaption of Lady and the Tramp is being directed by Charlie Bean (The LEGO Ninjago Movie), produced by Bringham Taylor, and written by Andrew Bujalski.

The cast for the film is made up of a mix of actors and voice actors, each taking roles for either human or canine characters. The ‘human’ cast includes: Kiersey Clemons (Darling), Thomas Mann (Jim Dear), Yvette Nicole Brown (Aunt Sarah), Adrian Martinez (Elliot, the dog-catcher), and Arturo Castro (Marco).

The ‘canine’ cast includes the talented voices of: Tessa Thompson (Lady, an American Cocker Spaniel), Justin Theroux (Tramp, a Miniature Schnauzer), Ashley Jensen (Jackie, a Scottish Terrier), Benedict Wong (Bull, a Bulldog), Sam Elliot (Trusty, a Bloodhound), and Janelle Monae (Peg, a Pekingese).

We can not wait to see this live-action adaption of Lady and the Tramp, and are equally excited for the release of new content exclusively available via Disney+, launching this November.

Disney Announces Star Wars Film Hiatus After Star Wars: Episode IX. The decision comes as a response from the company to the backlash from fans after the quick release of Solo: A Star Wars Story after Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Disney CEO, Bob Iger spoke on the matter on Thursday, before the 2019 Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, IL. “We have not announced any specific plans for movies thereafter,” Iger said during an interview with Bloomberg Television on Thursday. “There are movies in development, but we have not announced them.”

For some fans this is a relief, mainly due to a high saturation of new Star Wars content since the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. For fans who are disappointed in the decision for the franchise to take a break from featured film releases, worry do not. Disney and Lucasfilm are still producing more stories from the Star Wars Universe with a heavy focus on content for Disney+, which will open for streaming in November 2019, and still plan on releasing featured films at a later date.

“We will take a pause, some time, and reset,” Iger said, “because the Skywalker saga comes to an end with this ninth movie. There will be other Stars Wars movies, but there will be a bit of a hiatus.”

There is no doubt Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (Star Wars: Episode IX) will be a raging success in the theater. Despite the predicted success of the film, Disney is hoping to help build excitement for the new content they have planned by taking some time for fans to fully process the end of “the Skywalker saga” before releasing any more featured films from the Star Wars universe.

We will undoubtedly hear more from the casts, production teams, and studio representatives, about the future of Star Wars at the Star Wars Celebration taking place this weekend in Chicago, IL.

Gelato-Filled Donuts At Vivoli il Gelato In Disney Springs

There’s a delicious new addition to the menu over at Vivoli il Gelato in Disney Springs. The Bombolato is a scoop of creamy gelato ice cream nestled between a warmed Italian donut. Yum!

Choose from 21 flavors of gelato including, amaretto (almond), biscotti (cookie dough), or nocciola (hazelnut). Then your selection is sandwiched between an Italian donut and warmed in a special press.

The Bombolato is $8 plus tax, and worth every penny. Fans of the Croque Glaces at L’artisan des Glaces in the France Pavilion will definitely enjoy its Italian counterpart.

Disney Springs New Ticket Center Is Now Open

The new Disney Ticket Center announced as an addition to the Town Center in Disney Springs, has opened. We were there to check out the new addition and see what kind of services they offered.

Located in the Disney Springs Town Center area, the Ticket Center is between the Welcome Center and Blaze Fire’d Pizza. Here at the new Disney Ticket Center, they’ll be able to help you with everything related to theme park admission.

This new one-stop shop for most of your ticketing needs including the following:

Purchase Disney theme park tickets, make upgrades and pick up will call tickets (including special event tickets like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party)
Purchase or renew Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes
Purchase Military Salute tickets and upgrades
Make Disney Springs restaurant reservations

The new space is bright and welcoming, with Cast Members available in multiple locations to help you with your ticketing needs. The artwork adorning the walls was designed to reflect current special offerings in the parks and will be changed out periodically to reflect the most up-to-date fun. Right now, it highlights Mickey’s Birthday Celebration, the Incredible Celebration at Hollywood Studios and the Hakuna Matata Dance Party at Animal Kingdom.

Additional photos of special events and theme park magic are shown on a big screen at the back of the center. There’s even a TV area for the little ones that will show cartoons. The kids will be entertained while the adults get their theme park tickets settled.

The Disney Ticket Center operating hours are Sunday-Thursday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m., and Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m.- 11:30 p.m.

Guest Services for Disney Springs will still be located at the Welcome Center. They will continue to assist with lost and found items, currency exchange, and any general questions you may have.

Disney Springs is your one-stop for shopping, dining, entertainment and now, ticketing as well. Will you utilize the new Ticket Center on your next visit?
