World Showcase in Walt Disney World Resort’s Epcot is one of the best places in the resort to find unique and interesting snacks. You can spend an entire day just exploring each country’s pavilion and still not experience everything it has to offer. One of our favorite locations in World Showcase is L’Artisan de Glaces in the France pavilion. This small location serving amazing ice cream and sorbets is easy to miss as it’s tucked away at the back of the pavilion. One of the best and most decadent reasons to visit is the Ice Cream Martini.
The Ice Cream Martini is a delectable treat of two scoops of ice cream or sorbet, covered in a shot of either rum, Grand Marnier, or vodka. It’s served in a plastic martini glass which makes this snack even more appealing to carry around your tour of World Showcase. With the ability to mix up ice cream flavors and alcohol, guests can create many different combinations creating a new taste each time. It’s currently available for $11.97.
We went with vanilla ice cream and rum for this stop and it did not disappoint. The ice cream really becomes the star in this concoction, as it begins to melt and absorb some of the alcohol flavors at the same time. We think this is a great combination for a relaxing but hot day in the park. The Ice Cream Martini is definitely on the stronger side and tends to be more popular with guests who like to taste the alcohol in their beverages. If you’re looking for something without alcohol, you’ll definitely want to try L’Artisan de Glaces’ macaron ice cream sandwiches. Really though, in our opinion, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
