Ustar Cosmetics Introduces The Little Mermaid Makeup Collection

In celebration of The Little Mermaid’s 30th anniversary, Disney and UStar have teamed up for a fin-tastic new cosmetics collection! The Little Mermaid Makeup Collection features brightly colored packaging, and sassy cosmetics inspired by the adventurous Disney Princess.

This collection has gorgeous packaging featuring a variety of Ariel poses and expressions, with holographic pearlized details. This collection is only available in Thailand though, as a big fan of The Little Mermaid, it does make me a little sad!

The collection features lipsticks, lip glosses, face powders, eyeshadows, and even eye liners! The colors are very warm and beachy, which I feel is pretty fitting for our favorite undersea princess.

The collection’s packaging is really just splash-tastic. The artwork is whimsical, and detailed with shimmer, while the construction is sleek, and functional. Too often we see themed makeup collections where the packaging hinders the use of product, so I appreciate the simple yet elegant design this collection offers.

Although this collection is only available in Asia, you can see find other collections if you are in a different region like Disney Villains Colourpop, or the Peter Pan Mermaid Lagoon Besame collection.

The Otters are back at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park! The new Otters Grotto has opened this week on Discovery Island. The new grotto, sponsored by OtterBox, has a new area for the otters to play, swim, and nap on new a network of paths.

As you walk around the new Otter Grotto there are educational and interactive signs and points around the grotto!

There are plenty of areas around the new grotto for the otters to find sun, shade, water or play with things.

The new Otters Grotto even have an area to play and cool off. Look at this cool slide!

There is even a viewing area into the water for an underwater glimpse at the Otters as they cool off while swimming!

The new grotto looks like a nice way to relax while at the parks. Don’t you just wish you could be an otter where you can just relax all day, play in the water and go down a water slide whenever your heart desires?!

Disney Camping Gear From 7-11 Takes Magic To The Great Outdoors

There’s a new camping line that’s perfect for adding a little bit of Disney magic to adventures in the great outdoors. This whimsical Disney Camping Gear with a retro glam style is available as a pre-order from 7-11, when you make purchases of a certain amount. Unfortunately, it’s only available in China!

This selection of camping gear is part of a collection that continues to extend the “Dream Camp Series” of Mickey friends. The new collection features a picnic mat, a dual-use neck pillow, a Mickey doll and a Mickey retro-style camping light that I’m quite jealous that I can’t have! Here’s a look at what items are available if you’re lucky enough to be in the region.

Two 13 liter coolers that come in Mickey and Winnie the Pooh Designs. They have a divider plate inside so you can organize your snacks and meals.

These neck pillows are actually multifunctional, and unroll into a nap blanket! Napping on the go? YES PLEASE!

Mickey and friends waterproof bags come in red, or black and make the perfect essential for keeping your belongings dry!

Picnic blankets are fabulous, and really versatile! You can use them for a lovely outdoor picnic, a place to lounge when on the beach, or even to set up a sitting area outside your tent when camping.

My favorite is the LED camp lights that come in blue, or beige with a Mickey design. The brightness of the LED light can be adjusted, and there is even a multifunctional night light and camping light! The handle makes it perfect for hanging up to keep your campsite aglow.

Camping with friends is always better, and Mickey is ready to set off on an adventure in the great outdoors as this lovable backpacking plush.

First Look at Disneyland Paris Magical Pride Merchandise!

Disneyland Paris is preparing for Magical Pride by revealing some of the merchandise set to be released for this event! Magical Pride is taking place at Disneyland Paris on the 1st of June. First look at the merchandise reveals exclusive pride-themed ears and ear-hat alongside two pins; Sleeping Beauty’s castle in pride colours and a 400 limited edition jumbo pin featuring the core characters!

This exciting first look at the Magical Pride merchandise comes after the release of the headlining artists for this year’s event! The artists are Years & Years, Corine and a live DJ set by Boy George! Stay tuned for more exciting news about Magical Pride!

Tree of Life Garden Trail At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Has Reopened

There are many trails that guests can discover when visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Some of the trails have been closed due to a refurbishment to Otter Grotto which has recently been reopened. The Tree of Life Garden Trail has also reopened.

The Tree of Life Garden Trail is a pathway that takes guests throughout the roots and allows guests to get an up-close view of the animal carvings on the Tree of Life. There are two access points for this trail. One is located near It’s Tough to be a Bug! while the other is located near Creature Comforts.

The Tree of Life Garden Trail allows guests to view the Tree of Life up close. One of the things that makes the Tree of Life so special is that it has various animals carved into its trunk. Now guests can have a better vantage point for spotting all of the species that make up the Animal Kingdom, such as the porcupine, squirrel, ant, and countless others!

As can be seen in the photo, the Tree of Life Garden Trail has prime viewing of the red kangaroos!

There are also caves and waterfalls that can be passed through while walking down this pathway. It really is a great escape from the hustle and bustle that can be found around other areas of the park.

New Vivoli il Gelato Bicycle Cart Now Serving at Disney Springs

There’s a new bicycle cart in Disney Springs and it’s giving me major nostalgia of my childhood. Only unlike childhood, you don’t have to chase it down and it’s contents are far more delicious. You can now find the Vivoli il Gelato Bicycle Cart serving up some refreshing Gelato perfect for those hot Florida days!

This retro style cart serves eight different flavors which include your classic Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry, but also some fun flavors like Toasted Marshmallow and Brownie Brittle. We tried the Strawberry and it was super refreshing and hit the spot on such a hot day! You can get your Gelato in two sizes Media (medium) for $6.25 or Piccola (small) for $5.25.

The Vivoli il Gelato Bicycle Cart was located outside of the World of Disney Store and across from Amorette’s Patisserie when we saw it, but it is on wheels and no word if it will change locations. If you’re in Disney Springs and the weather turns bad (because Florida) you can also head to Vivoli il Gelato’s main store location next to Wine Bar George.

So next time you’re strolling through Disney Springs make sure to look around for the new Vivoli il Gelato Bicycle Cart and enjoy one (or more, we’re not judging) of their eight delicious flavors while shopping around.

Tiffins Talks With Joe Rohde

My fiancé and I had the honor of attending Tiffins Talks with Joe Rohde on April 20, 2019. This special event took place during the “Party for the Planet” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. With Joe Rohde as our guide, we traveled to Bali, Mongolia, and South Africa via his storytelling expertise.

Joe Rohde’s experiences in Bali impressed us the most. For example, he discussed their many festivals and that they occur frequently. These festivals require a high demand of skill therefore many artisans are found here to ensure they occur properly. The Balinese artists shaped the way Disney properties around the globe look. The artists most recently carved out the Dug and Russel statue in front of Caravan Stage at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Joe Rohde made sure to visit every group individually. During our meeting, I realized we both shared the similarity that we lived on Oahu, Hawai’i. Up until this point, I didn’t realize he had spent so much time on the islands. Since Oahu is a huge cultural melting pot, it makes sense to me now why he is so adventurous.

As with many Disney events not only was this about meeting a legend it was about the food! Joe Rohde’s travels determined the items on the menu.

Out of the entire lunch, we both really enjoyed the ostrich “Braaivleis” and lamb “Khorkhog” dishes the most. These two plates were the most unique out of the entire meal.

Not found on the initial menu was the blood orange palate cleanser. This addition came out in a cute mason jar.

As with most Disney events we were given a “kiss goodnight” from the culinary team. Therefore, my fiancé and I are now proud owners of our own tiffin. The container had a beautiful postcard like gift tag attached. It had the signatures of the culinary team involved in our meal in addition to Joe Rohde’s.

The cost per person was $199 (tax and gratuity not included). For the opportunity to listen to a Disney icon and eat some amazing food, it was worth it!

We hope to see this event again in the future to hear more of Joe Rohde’s travels!

Justice League Star, Ray Fisher Visits his Cyborg Wax-Figure at Madame Tussauds Orlando’s Justice League: A Call for Heroes experience

Justice League star, Ray Fisher, came face-to-face with his 3D-printed Cyborg wax-figure during his first-ever visit to Madame Tussauds Orlando’s Justice League: A Call for Heroes experience.

“It feels like I’m back on the set,” said Fisher as he interacted with the wax figures of his Super Hero castmates, Jason Momoa, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Ezra Miller. Fisher tweeted the side-by-side last weekend. “They really did me…(wait for it)…justice.”

New Fun And Clever Disney Character Shirts At California Adventure

There’s some fun new t-shirt designs popping up at Elias and Co in Disney California Adventure. These Clever Disney Character shirts showcase a few pop culture favorites, with some interesting designs that are sure to make you crack a smile.

The Jessica’s Diner tee dresses up Jessica Rabbit as a old school style diner waitress. The shirt is styled after a restaurant souvenir tee advertising Burgers, Fries, Malts, and even says “Est. 1988”, which is when Roger Rabbit first debuted.

Scar fans will love this heather grey tee that has the villainous lion grinning proudly. “Long Live the King” is scrawled across in a fiery orange. If you’re team Scar, this is the t-shirt for you.

The ever dramatic King Kuzco is pouting his super pout on this red t-shirt. “Drama Llama” perfectly sums up our favorite spoiled king turned llama.
