On Sunday, May 12th you can celebrate Mother’s Day with a Minnie’s Mother’s Day Chocolate Party in Ariel’s at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.

This charming buffet features a wide variety of chocolate sweets including:

New Popcorn Shop and Bucket Coming to Tokyo Disneyland!

A new popcorn shop called “Big Pop” is coming to Tokyo Disneyland in 2020. This will be a new speciality popcorn shop selling lots of different flavours of popcorn to satisfying hungry guests! Alongside this new popcorn shop, Tokyo Disneyland is also hinting at releasing a new popcorn bucket- a Baymax popcorn bucket as you can see from the artist concept photo! This Baymax popcorn bucket will be released to celebrate the opening of the new Baymax attraction! The Happy Ride with Baymax will open in Tomorrowland and invite guests to join their favourite healthcare companion for an exciting musical ride which swings guests round and round!

Disney’s FairyTails Pin Trading Event Dates Announced

Attention all pin traders! Disney’s FairyTails Pin Trading Event dates have been announced. You will be able to meet and trade with fellow pin enthusiasts during this fun filled weekend. The FairyTails pin trading event will be held in Epcot at the World ShowPlace from August 9th-11th. The main event will be held on August 9th and 10th and requires registration and a purchased event package. However, a public event will be held on the 11th for traders to meet without an additional cost. Please take note, if you are attending any of these events you are required to purchase park admission at regular price.

Disney’s FairyTails main pin trading event will be from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM on both Friday, August 9th and Saturday, August 10th. Registration information will be available starting on May 7th at 1:00 PM EST. There will be two different packages available to purchase, the Furry Friend Package which will cost $150 per guest, or the Best in Show package which is $250 per guest. Additionally,” add-ons are optional, limited in quantity, and must be purchased in conjunction with a Furry Friend package or Best in Show package”, as per Disney’s website.

For Public Pin Trading Day on August 11th you can meet from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the World ShowPlace. There will not be an additional cost for the public event. If attending you will be able to shop from the FairyTails store, have fun photo opportunities, and have an area dedicated to trading. However, there will not be Disney-sponsored trading boards or activities.

Avast, mateys! Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew is ready to set sail at Disney’s Beach Club Resort!

Children ages 4-12 can now join the pirate crew and follow clues to find the hidden treasure. They will even get a chance to meet Captain Hook himself!

During the treasure hunt, young buccaneers will solve puzzles and venture into the high seas for a boat ride around Crescent Lake.

This immersive experience also includes a pirate feast complete with a choice of entree and dessert.

Captain Hook’s Pirate Crew is $55 per child plus tax. The event runs nightly from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Seaside Retreat located in Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Call 407-824-KIDS to book your own pirate adventure!

Flamingo Cupcake Makes Debut At Animal Kingdom

Disney World is winning at the cute cupcake game this year! We have spotted this new Flamingo Cupcake in Animal Kingdom at Creature Comforts (aka Starbucks). This cupcake is so perfect for Animal Kingdom since there are two areas you are able to spot flamingos. We ventured over to see the flamingos ourselves and they approved this cupcake!

The cupcake has quite a bit going on, you may say its flamboyant as a flamingo! This cupcake is a yellow cake filled with pink lemonade curd then topped with blue and white buttercream, graham cracker crumbs on the side, and of course two pink flamingos made of white chocolate on top! The yellow cake was a normal yellow cake but the pink lemonade filling really made it stand out. Honestly, it made the cupcake refreshing on what was a hot day. It was also unexpected as it’s not labeled on the sign in Creature Comforts.

Celebrate Animal Kingdom’s Baby Gorilla With A Gender Reveal Cupcake

It’s a baby girl! Celebrate Animal Kingdom’s new baby gorilla Grace with a special cupcake. This cupcake can be found at Tamu Tamu Refreshments within the Africa section of the park. This is where they also sell Dole Whip at Animal Kingdom for those familiar with the pineapple soft serve.

The cupcake itself is a Chocolate Cupcake filled with colored Gender- revealing Crispy Chocolate Pears topped with Buttercream, a Fondant Leaf, Blue and Pink Crispy Chocolate Pearls, and an edible image of Mom and baby Gorilla. This particular cupcake was really moist and we loved that this cupcake was a little taller than some of the other recent ones. Essentially, the frosting had enough cake to go with it! Plus the gender reveal aspect of this cupcake was so much fun.

As with most cupcakes Disney has to offer it looks as good as it tastes! This celebratory cupcake is $5.99 before sales tax and it is snack eligible for those on the Disney Dining Plan.

“Good Morning America” 2019 Summer Concert Series Lineup

ABC News’ “Good Morning America” revealed its lineup for the 2019 Summer Concert Series this morning!

The series will kick off on Wednesday, May 15th with K-pop megastars BTS.

“GMA” will be celebrating summer in Central Park with the most popular names in music each Friday. The concert series returns for the 11th year in a row to SummerStage in Rumsey Playfield.

The Blue Angels Fly Over Epcot For Military Appreciation Day

Thursday morning the Blue Angels flew over top Spaceship Earth in Epcot. Soaring at 500 feet and over 250 mph, they made two passes in celebration of Military Appreciation Day. Several service men and women where on hand as well to salute as they flew over. We went live as they flew by. Take a look at the emotional video here:

Many guests at Epcot, which included visiting U.S.military personnel, veterans and their families, said it was a special experience watching some of the world’s best pilots in action during their Disney vacation. “I did two tours in Vietnam and I was on the USS Somers and to see them go right over Spaceship Earth and on the second pass, when they split up – it was awesome,” Epcot guest and Navy veteran James Fredricks said. “I can’t help myself from getting emotional about it.”

Scarlett Johansson Set To Make $20 Million From Marvel Studios Untitled ‘Black Widow’ Film.

Proceed with CAUTION, This post contains MAJOR SPOILERS for Avengers: Endgame!

Final SPOILER ALERT for Avengers: Endgame!!!!!

Okay, by now you must have already seen Avengers: Endgame or you don’t care about reading about major spoilers for the film Either way, let’s dive in. (Too soon?)

First, let’s address the elephant in the room. Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, made a heroic sacrifice to retrieve the Soul Stone in Avengers: Endgame to save the Universe and help her friends and only family she ever really had.

So now that Natasha is dead, will there still be a Black Widow feature film by Marvel Studios?

The answer is yes, and better yet, we know that Scarlett Johansson is not only returning to reprise her role, but she will be producing the film as well and earning a reported $20 Million dollars to do so according to ComicBook.com! Fun Fact: Scarlett Johansson is the highest paid actress of 2019, with her co-star Robert Downey Jr. being the highest paid actor of 2019.

But wait… she died? How is she getting her own movie?

Well, We know now that the film will have to take place somewhere in Natasha’s past. Maybe we will finally find out first hand about Budapest? Although that is just speculation, her past has always been shrouded in mystery and can easily accommodate for some fantastic storytelling, possibly involving other characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, maybe her time with S.H.I.E.L.D., or maybe going even deeper into her story and finding out about her upbringing and training before she met Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye.

Regardless of where her story goes, we are so excited to see Marvel Studios support Scarlett’s character and give her the feature film Black Widow always deserved, and we can’t wait to see Johansson kick butt in her new role at Marvel Studios as a Producer!
