Tomorrowland Speedway Has Now Reopened

The Tomorrowland Speedway has now reopened!

This iconic family attraction closed in January 2019 to make way for the new TRON coaster. Over the last few months, the track has been re-routed and there is a new paint job, with a fun teal!

As you ride the attraction, you can see that construction is moving right along on the new TRON coaster. It’s exciting to see the changes coming throughout Walt Disney World but it’s great to have this classic ride up and running again!

Even though it has had a few different looks and names over the years, the Tomorrowland Speedway has been around since Magic Kingdom opened in 1971 and is fun for all ages! It’s great for kids of all ages, who are 32″ or taller. Anyone who is 54″ or taller is able to ride by themselves.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo, there’s a special bit of exclusive magic now available at everyone’s favorite boutique! An adorable new Fairy Godmother MagicBand is now available exclusively to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique guests! Talk about magical!

The exclusive new band is only available to guests enjoying the royal makeover treatment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique locations in Disney Springs, and Magic Kingdom. Guests visiting for a makeover can purchase this and for $24.99 as a special keepsake to remember their magical experience.

The band is in the beautiful millennial pink color, with artwork featuring a smiling Fairy Godmother granting a special wish. The MagicBand also says “Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique” with a crown design in dark pink at the top of the band. Other details that can be found around the light pink band are scroll work designs and a silhouette of the clock ticking down till pumpkin time.

Guests can book their appointments for Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at either Disney Springs, or Magic Kingdom to have an opportunity to purchase this band. Remember though makeovers are only available for children 3-12 years old. Now I’m even more jealous I can’t get my own royal makeover!

Rise and Stretch in the Park in Disney California Adventure

Check out Rise and Stretch in the Park on your next Disneyland vacation!

Rise and Stretch in the Park is a 45-minute stretch class that is held INSIDE Disney California Adventure Park. What a great chance to enter the park before opening!

Guests staying at one of the three Disneyland hotels can meet a fitness instructor by 5:45am at the theme park entrance of Disney California Adventure Park.

You must be able to move easily from a standing to a sitting position to participate. Fitness mats will be provided for all guests.

Even More Toy Story 4 Finds At the Disney Parks

Toy Story 4 rolls into theaters next month, and we can’t wait to find out more about Forky, Ducky, Bunny and the other new characters joining the cast. You can find all sorts of fun Toy Story 4 Finds at the Disney Parks to commemorate the debut of the new film too! Including an assortment of items inspired by Forky and Bo Peep!

There is even more Forky items now! The plush has made it’s debut, along side other fun toys. There is also a Pizza Planet coffee mug that comes with a ceramic Forky shaped coffee stirrer!

Let’s admit it, we’ve missed Bo Peep! It really is quite exciting to see all of the fun new Bo Peep merchandise too. Bo has her own posable doll just like Barbie now, along with a play shepherd’s hook action figure, POP! figure, plush, and apparel.

Exclusive Shots From Hagrids Magical Motorbike Adventure Ride

Its almost here! In less than a month’s time, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure will open at Universal Orlando Resort.

Universal gave some behind the scenes photos and video of the exciting new ride! This “story coaster” will take you on a magical adventure with magical creature, speeds up to 50 mph, and exciting drops.

You’ll be able to experience on June 13!

You’ll start the ride at the edge of the Forbidden Forest and enter ruins that have seemingly been abandoned for centuries behind Hagrid’s hut. The ruins were imagined and brought to life by Universal Creative in collaboration with the Harry Potter films’ Production Designer, Stuart Craig, and Art Director, Alan Gilmore. This is where your Care of Magical Creatures class with Hagrid will begin.

Inside the ruins, you will see materials from Hagrid’s Care of Magical Creatures class, including dragon eggs on the verge of hatching and a makeshift nursery where he kept his Blast-Ended Skrewts in a terrarium before they outgrew the chamber.

There will also be a pre-show featuring digital projection technology and special effects, where you’ll encounter Arthur Weasley, Hagrid, and his loyal dog, Fang.

You’ll launch up to 50 miles per hour through the Forbidden Forest, past the ruins and more.

Upgradable Magic Bands for Disney Resort and AP Holders Now Available

Planning your trip to WDW is half the fun, in my opinion. Choosing where to eat, what to ride, how to dress, and receiving your MagicBand in the mail are all part of the Disney experience!

Previously, you were able to choose a MagicBand customized with your name and favorite color. Now, Disney has added a few more choices!

*** We found out more information about the Magic Bands today. When you order the special bands, they ship out almost immediately. If they are the colored bands, those ship out closer to the check in date. So, if you are selecting a combination of both, they will get the bands in two shipments.

Another fun fact: if you want the bands sooner than 3 weeks before check in, let’s say for Christmas or a surprise, you can purchase the upgraded bands for everyone on the reservation to get them sooner!

Disney Resort hotel guests and new/renewing Annual Passholders will now have the option to upgrade (at a discounted price) from the free solid-color MagicBands to one of more than 30 new options! The new options will feature your favorite Disney characters and designs.

The New Imagination Pink Cupcake Has Arrived at WDW!

Y’all! The new imagination pink cupcake is here! If you recall, we recently reported there would be a new line of merchandise of Imagination Pink and Magic Mirror ears would be debuting at Disney parks soon.

Well! The imagination pink snacks have arrived! We recently spotted the New Imagination Pink Cupcake at the Contempo Café at the Contemporary Resort! We needed an excuse to ride the monorail through the resorts anyways!

This new cupcake is so pink! We love it!! Plus, the cake is my favorite flavor, Strawberry! We would have been disappointed if it was any other flavor, to be honest. Now we know what you are thinking, but it looks like every other cupcake they have been coming out with lately. This one is delightfully different and you will be in heaven once you try it!

The Imagination pink cupcake is topped with Vanilla buttercream icing that is the perfect amount of sweetness. The buttercream is then surrounded by pink sugar coating. The cupcake is then finished off with the signature white chocolate ears on top.

The inside is filled with pretty pink pearls and sprinkles that just spill out of the cupcake!

Crews are working to fix the typo as soon as possible.

Leave a Legacy Monoliths Removal Begins in Phases.

As we previously reported, Epcot is getting a facelift at the main entrance to the park. With the facelift comes the removal of the Leave a Legacy Monoliths located near Spaceship Earth.

The Leave a Legacy Monoliths were first introduced by the Walt Disney Imagineers as a part of a tribute to the Epcot 2000 Commemorative Program. The monoliths are both a work of art and a family album allowing guests to mark their moment in time. Guests can mark their moment on a one-inch square digital photograph etched on a commemorative metallic tile mounted onto the monoliths.

Sadly, these timeless Leave a Legacy Monoliths will soon be removed during the facelift in phases. Starting overnight Sunday, May 19, 2019, the monoliths will be removed on the Westside. Walls will be surrounding these giant 3 to 19-foot tall monuments as they begin the removal process.

The walls surrounding the construction will remain in place throughout the duration of the west side construction throughout the Summer of 2019.

Once the West side has completed the removal process, the walls surrounding the monuments will then move to the East side to continue the process of the removal of the Leave a Legacy Monoliths.

However, once the removal is completed guests will still have to wait until the year 2020 before Disney reveals the new location for these massive structures. But good news! Before installing the Leave a Legacy Monoliths in their new undisclosed location, the monoliths will get a facelift of their own with refreshed photos and will include a new wayfinding system for guests to locate their pictures.

Concha Bread Minnie Ears Are Scrumptiously Adorable

Disney fans love snacks, even snacks we only see every once in a great while at the Disney Parks, including the sweet concha bread that made an appearance once at the Festival of the Arts. You can now show your love for this delicious sweet bread with the Concha Minnie Mouse Ears, now available at Epcot’s Mexico Pavilion.

If you have never experienced the delicious comfort of Concha bread, it’s a Mexican style sweet roll. A warm soft sweet bread is baked with a crunchy topping that is just heaven to eat. Sometimes the top crunchy sugar topping even comes in different flavors and colors. Personally I wish it was available all the time at Epcot!

The ears are an incredible recreation of these popular sweet rolls. A felt like textured ear is topped with a smooth material to resemble the “crunchy topping”. The details don’t stop there, on the reverse side there are gradients of color to make it look like golden brown fresh baked bread right out of the pan. The finishing touch is a Sarape inspired bow! The bow is a delightful representation of colors, that almost matches Donald’s Sarape in his Mexico Pavilion outfit. Clear sequins are layered on top for a sweet touch of sparkle.
