In recognition of teachers and school support staff, the seven Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels in the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida are offering special “Teacher Appreciation Rates.” Available to preschool, daycare, kindergarten – college teachers and support staff in the U.S. and Canada, for stays May 27-Sept. 3, 2019, the special room rates provide the opportunity to take in the many exceptional new offerings at the Walt Disney World Resort this summer.

Situated on Walt Disney World Resort property, the seven Disney Springs Resort Area Hotels are ideally located an easy walk to Disney Springs, which now features more than 150 retail, dining and entertainment establishments. To celebrate Pride Month, and the power of love all summer long, Disney has launched the new Pride Rainbow Disney Collection! The collection includes an array of over fifty brilliantly colorful products! Disney will donate 10% of the proceeds to GLSEN with any purchase of an item from the Collection from now through June 30, 2019. GLSEN is the leading education organization working to create safe and inclusive K-12 schools for LGBTQ students.

This vibrant collection is inspired by the incredible diversity of Disney fans around the world, and can be found throughout the year at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. Breaking News! Tokyo DisneySea has just announced a new expansion called “Fantasy Springs”, planning to open in 2022. The new themed port of Tokyo DisneySea is set to cost ¥ 250 billion, which is a record high and to be the largest expansion planned since the opening of Tokyo DisneySea!

The new DisneySea expansion “Fantasy Springs” is based upon the theme of “The world of Disney Fantasy led by Magic Fountain” according to Tokyo Disneyland. The new expansion is set within the World of beloved Disney films adored by many generations. Guests walking into “Fantasy Springs” will encounter waterfalls and ponds with magical waters and transported into the heard of their favourite stories. Beyond that are three areas based on the Disney movies- Frozen, Rapunzel and Peter Pan! Guests will feel immersed in the magical stories with attractions, restaurants and many more. In addition, a new Disney hotel will also be built and sore above the park like a spring.

“Fantasy Springs” promises guests four new attractions, three restaurants and one shop within the new themed port, as well as a new Disney hotel newly developed for this project. More guests will be able to enjoy the fascinating, novel fantasy world that no one has ever experienced, and the attractiveness and experience value of Tokyo DisneySea, which is the only theme in the world on the theme of “the story and legend related to the sea”!

To celebrate the release of the new live version of Disney’s Aladdin, Disneyland Paris has created a series showing guests how to follow Aladdin’s footsteps round both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios! The highly anticipated live action version directed by Guy Ritchie is set to be released on Wednesday.

At Disneyland Paris, Aladdin is adored by many and hold a very prominent place in both of the parks. Each park invites guests to celebrate this iconic character and join in his adventures through many attractions and shows based upon the beloved, animated classic!

Today, for following in Aladdin’s footsteps series, Disneyland Paris is focusing on ‘Flying Carpets Over Agrabah’ the attraction at Walt Disney Studios! Here guests can find the Genie shooting his own film at Toon Studios, which is one of the production areas of Walt Disney Studios Park! Genie is always a barrel of laughs and for this attraction, he is no different- with a set looking unfinished, rickety and wobbly, he even forgets to remove his lens cap from his camera! However, guests delight in becoming actors for a day

Once on the set, guests are ready to live a real “blue dream” by flying in one of the 16 flying carpets that the Genie has put at their disposal. To feel transported to the Middle East of the Arabian Nights, he set up a backdrop that was used during the Hollywood Golden Age, representing a panorama from the famous Cave to Wonders. to the enchanting city of Agrabah. Once in flight, the actors have the possibility to control the movements of their carpet according to their place: those placed at the front can act on the altitude while those placed behind master the inclination. All this under the watchful eye of the Genie, who does not stop raving about them.

Connoisseurs will recognize the voice of Richard Darbois (Buzz Lightyear) in French, while the English version is provided by Dan Castellaneta (Homer, in the Fox series The Simpsons), who assumed the role of Genie in The Return of Jafar and the animated series Disney’s Aladdin, instead of Robin Williams.

Adventureland, located in the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, is well known for their Spring Rolls. Well, the new Cuban spring roll is about to be added to the list of favorite spring rolls to eat at Walt Disney World.

Located in Adventureland at the Spring Roll Wagon, the new Cuban Spring roll is the newest addition to the list of favorite rolls. Older popular spring rolls include flavor choices such as the cheeseburger, bacon mac and cheese, and buffalo chicken.

The new Cuban Spring Roll features mustard, pickles, ham, and pork which resembles the classic Cuban sandwich. The rolls don’t disappoint in the ingredient section. These rolls are packed with ingredients that allows for an explosion of flavor as you bite into it.

These spring rolls are incredibly delicious, especially if you love pickles! Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom can purchase the new Cuban Spring Roll at the Spring Roll Wagon for $7.50 for a set of two. While there, ask what other flavors are available for purchase.

Akiva Schaffer to Direct Disney’s “Live Action” Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers Film

Akiva Schaffer to Direct Disney’s “Live Action” Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers Film. According to THR, one of the directors from Lonely Island has been signed on to direct the CGI/’Live-Action’ reboot of Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers.

Producers of the film, David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman, who also produced The Muppets and Beauty and the Beast, choose Akiva Schaffer to direct the new film starring our mischievous chipmunks, Chip and Dale. The film will be set up as a “Meta” based story, but all other details on the film are being kept air tight by the studio and crew.

Chip and Dale have been causing mischief for the classic Disney characters since 1943, but became the Rescue Rangers in 1989 with the release of Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers. The film was a success and sparked a 3 season television series, with the characters wearing outfits inspired by Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford) and Magnum P.I (Tom Selleck).

Disney has not announced if the new Rescue Rangers film will be released theatrically, or will be offered exclusively on Disney+ once it is released.

Explore Black Spire Outpost with Your Star Wars: Datapad.

Guests visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge with the land as they travel through unlike ever before in any Disney Park. Using their Star Wars: Datapad, guests will experience a land wide interactive experience through the Play Disney Parks mobile app using their iPhone and Android Smartphone.

Through the Disney Parks mobile app, your mobile device will turn into a Datapad which you can then use to find several tools to use while exploring the planet Batuu, with a few hidden surprises as well! Using the different tools on the Star Wars: Datapad, guests can use the “hacking” tool to interact with specific door panels or droids to discover their memories.

Another great tool to take advantage of is the “scanning” tool, which guests can use to “peek inside” of cargo crates, you pass by. There is no telling what you will find in there! Having trouble understanding Aurebesh, which is the written language of the Star Wars Galaxy? Use the “translation” tool located on you Star Wars: Datapad on signs throughout the Black Spire Outpost.

Watch out! The First Order is trying to install surveillance devices in door panels to spy on the Resistance. Use the “tuning” tool to tap into and decrypt signals from antennas or communication devices to listen to secret messages!

Using the “Outpost control” tool, guests can even choose to support either side as they “vie for a hold on the land” throughout this land wide game. While playing, you can even earn galactic credits for your efforts, including when you board the most famous ship in the galaxy, the Millennium Falcon. While in line for the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, guests can take on a job for Hondo Ohnaka at the Ohnaka Transport Solutions out of Black Spire Outpost. Help by rerouting misplaced cargo while learning how to stay undercover under pressure while you prep the Falcon for your flight!
