Previously, you were able to choose a MagicBand customized with your name and favorite color. Now, Disney has added a few more choices!
*** We found out more information about the Magic Bands today. When you order the special bands, they ship out almost immediately. If they are the colored bands, those ship out closer to the check in date. So, if you are selecting a combination of both, they will get the bands in two shipments.
Another fun fact: if you want the bands sooner than 3 weeks before check in, let’s say for Christmas or a surprise, you can purchase the upgraded bands for everyone on the reservation to get them sooner!

Disney Resort hotel guests and new/renewing Annual Passholders will now have the option to upgrade (at a discounted price) from the free solid-color MagicBands to one of more than 30 new options! The new options will feature your favorite Disney characters and designs.

I’m either getting an error page (probably too much traffic) or if I do get through and try to search the bands it says no results even though I have not set filters. I assume it’s all to do with their servers getting hammered, but I’m excited to get through!.
