‘Frozen II‘ Predicted to Break Opening Weekend Box Office Records. It’s no secret that Disney has been reigning at the box office all through 2019, having made billions of dollars with only a handful of movies. Disney is looking even more profitable after the releases of two more major titles before the end of the year: Frozen II(November 22) and Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker (December 20th).
Star Wars: Rise of Skywalkerhas already beaten record holder, Avengers: Endgame, in ticket pre-sales and is expected to be the highest grossing Star Wars film to date, but it appears Frozen II is also poised to make massive waves for animated featured films at the box office.

According to Deadline, predictions point to Frozen II making well over $100 Million during opening weekend If the prediction proves to be true, that would make Frozen II the first animated feature film ever to earn over $100 million on an opening weekend not “In Summer” (I hope Olaf appreciates that joke).
The original film, Frozen, earned over $1.29 billion, during its theatrical release in 2013. Frozen II is expected to surpass its predecessor and possibly bring in more than The Lion King (2019), which earned $1.65 billion in theaters, potentially making it the highest grossing animated film to date.

Global box office phenomenon “Avatar” will be available on Disney+ when the highly-anticipated streaming service launches in the U.S., Canada and The Netherlands on November 12, followed by Australia and New Zealand on November 19.

Pixar Animation Studios’ short film collection is designed to discover new storytellers and explore new storytelling techniques from across the studio. The short film series includes 6 new titles: Purl, Smash and Grab, Kitbull, Float, Loop, and Wind. All 6 projects, along with many popular Pixar titles will be available to stream on Disney+ launch day, November 12, 2019.
Purl: “An earnest ball of yarn named Purl gets a job at a fast-paced, high energy, male centric start-up. Things start to unravel as she tries to fit in with this close knit group. Purl must ask herself how far is she willing to go to get the acceptance she yearns for and in the end is it worth it?”

With the help of the other toys in Bonnie’s room, Forky learns all about the world around him, and even finds the answers to some tough questions in his new exclusive Disney+ series, Forky Asks A Question.

‘Pixar IRL’ Brings Pixar Stories To Life In Interactive Series on Disney+. Marvel Studios ‘The Falcon and The Winter Soldier‘ Has Begun Filming For Disney+. The new Marvel series set to release in Winter 2020 has begun filming according to Executive Producer Malcolm Spellman.
Spellman shared the news along with a photo of his personalized chair on set with the caption “Day 1”, and also stated it’s “a huge day for a lot of people”, including himself. The post has since been deleted from his Instagram page, but not before Marvel Fans could view the photo and were thrilled to find out the highly anticipated series had begun filming.
Anthony Mackie (Sam Wilson/Falcon) and Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier) have reprised their roles for the Disney+ series, as well as Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter) and Daniel Bruhl (Baron Zemo), along with Marvel newcomer, Wyatt Russell as John Walker, a US Agent in the series.
No other story or plot details have been released for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.

During a recent convention, Sebastian Stan (Bucky Barnes/The Winter Soldier/ The White Wolf) shared his excitement for the project saying that he thinks fans will be very happy with the direction of the series coming to Disney+ in 2020.
“I’ll tell you I have [seen scripts]. I have seen them and I’m so excited about it. It’s going to be so cool and kind of crazy. All I can say is it’s just new and different from what you’ve seen so far. I mean, it will be totally in line with everything that has happened and what we’ve seen and so on, but these characters are getting such additional mileage in terms of learning about who they are now, what they feel, what they’re thinking, and there’s a lot of action, comedy, you know there’s going to be comedy. I feel like you’re going to be happy. I think you’re going to be very happy. And there’s some crazy stuff, like stuff you don’t see coming from anywhere.”

Season 7 of ‘The Great Christmas Light Fight‘ Coming to ABC. It’s the most wonderful time of the year, which means the decorations are coming out, and the biggest Christmas lights competition is almost here!
‘Tis the season for ABC’s immensely popular decorating competition series, “The Great Christmas Light Fight,” which continues to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with celebrity judges—lifestyle expert Carter Oosterhouse and famed interior designer Taniya Nayak.
The series returns for its seventh season with back-to-back episodes starting MONDAY, DEC. 2 (8:00-10:00 p.m. EST), for three consecutive weeks. ABC also announced the pickup of season eight to air in 2020. View a sneak peek of season seven here.

So be sure to warm up some hot cocoa, bake some delicious Christmas cookies, and snuggle up on the couch with your family and friends, for season 7 of The Great Christmas Light Fight premiering December 2nd, only on ABC.
Another day another Disney cupcake. The latest cupcake to hit Walt Disney World is the new Sorcerer Mickey Cupcake. You can find this one at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort at the Premier Food Court.
The cupcake itself is chocolate, with a layer of marshmallow buttercream frosting dyed blue, and then a layer of chocolate mousse covered in red edible glitter. Two chocolate disks make up Mickey’s Ears. If you’re a fan of chocolate then this is the perfect cupcake for you. It was nice to have the mousse on top instead of the huge amounts of frosting the cupcakes at Disney usually have.
This adorable Sorcerer Mickey Cupcake was $5.99 or a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan. As far as cupcakes go this was yummy. It is messy with all the food coloring so be prepared for some dyed fingers and maybe little faces. All-Star Movies Resort is always changing up the selection so make sure to get this one before its gone.
Sony Announces ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse‘ Sequel. Yesterday, Sony shared the news that a sequel to the Academy Award winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is in the works.

The sequel is set to premiere in theaters April 8, 2022. Sony has not released any details about the storyline for the Spider-Verse sequel, but more than likely the film will revisit Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) and his other Spidey-Friends: Peter B. Parker (Jake Johnson), Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld), Peni Parker (Kimiko Glenn), Spider-Man Noir (Nicolas Cage), and Spider-Ham (John Mulaney) on an all new adventure. Potentially in one of the other Spider-Verses.

Friday morning during Disney’s Wine & Dine 5k a runner collapsed and died.
Disney released the following statement on the death:
“We are deeply saddened by this heartbreaking loss, and our thoughts and sympathies remain with the runner’s family and loved ones throughout this difficult time.”
No other information has been released at this time.
