New year, new Spirit Jerseys, am I right? We’ve got the Redd, we’ve got the Belle of the Ball Bronze, and now we can say hello to another new color trend. The new Ariel’s Grotto Coral Spirit Jersey has arrived, and it’s here to sparkle with beach vibes.
The new Spirit Jersey is a striking coral color, that reminds us of tropical underwater reefs! It is available in both Disneyland, and Walt Disney World versions as well. You can find this at the usual places like World of Disney, and the Emporium at both Park locations. The logos on the front and back are done up in extra shimmery coral puffed ink too!
So far there are no other trend items for this color, so it might just be a special color like the Dapper Day Yellow we saw last year!

Attention spirit jersey fans! There’s a brand new spirit jersey that has just arrived and it’s Epcot themed. This brand new shirt has the updated Epcot Logo on it.
The jersey is solid black and the writing and logo on the front of the Epcot spirit jersey is in white. There isn’t any writing on the sleeves.
I love the simplicity of this new spirit jersey. It’s unisex and can be enjoyed by all Epcot fans. This jersey is $69.99 plus tax. It was located at the merchandise kiosk right in front of where the old fountain used to be. There was a bunch of new Epcot specific merchandise there as well.
I’m all about that Disney Park life, and I am sure you are too! Now we can celebrate our love of the parks with the adorable Disney Park Life Collection. It features a whimsical print of some of our favorite Disney characters enjoying some of our favorite Disney Park attractions.
One thing we always love from collections, is when there is a new Loungefly bag! This bag doesn’t disappoint either. It show off the colorful print on a soft blue background, and is accented with silver hardware.

Disney’s most expensive and exclusive membership club is now open at Animal Kingdom. From what I could see, Harambe House is stunning.
The quiet entrance beckons at the right of the establishment. As always, there is a place to scan your magicband where most of us will be denied.
These clubs were meant to represent the worldwide adventures of Walt and his wife, Lillian.
Originally opened as a place to entertain dignitaries and major Disneyland sponsors, Club 33 has now expanded to Walt Disney World. It is just as selective as before, but that and the mystery of the club make many Disney fans curious.
While it’s not clear whether or not I will get a chance to see one of these clubs, the members should be happy with the new locations being opened on Walt Disney World property.
Guests of the Disneyland Resort can enjoy the return of the celebration of the Lunar New Year! For a limited time, guests can enjoy festive eats, entertainment, and familiar characters all in celebration of the Year of the Mouse!
The Lunar New Year celebration will be held at Disney California Adventure Park. To kick off the festivities, will be one of our favorite princesses, Mulan. She will lead a celebratory parade, “Mulan’s Lunar New Year Processional“. In addition, there will be daily performances by authentic Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese dancers around the Paradise Gardens Park.
Guests will have four food marketplaces to choose from. All food and beverages will be inspired by Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese culture and cuisine. The four booths are named Longevity Noodle Co., Lucky 8 Lantern, Prosperity Bao & Buns, and Red Dragon Spice Traders. The four booths will offer many traditional selections of beverages and beverages to be enjoyed by all. Don’t forget to grab a Sip and Savor Pass so you can try multiple food and beverage items during this limited time.
When the sun sets on your visit, don’t forget to experience a special pre-show before World of Color! The “Hurry Home- Lunar New Year Celebration “. This pre-show takes place at Paradise Bay. “Hurry Home” tells the story of a little lantern’s journey to return home to be with their family in time for the celebration of good luck and fortune.

This past Thursday, the People Mover attraction in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom was close for a few hours due to the ride emitting smoke.
Earlier in the evening a guest named James Reinert waiting in line noticed a burning smell coming out from the ride, not to long after Cast Members stopped the queue and used a fire extinguisher on the ride’s exit ramp.
The ride was close along with the Astro Orbiter located at the top of the attraction and Reedy Creek was called at around 5:24pm.
A spokeswoman for Reedy Creek Improvement District, Eryka Washington said there was no fire at the scene and that the cause of the smoke is unknown.
The Walt Disney World Resort hasn’t make any comments about the incident yet.
The People Mover was back in operation later that evening.
A Salute to All Nations, But Mostly American Barbecue!
Sam Eagle of The Muppets will soon be the face of a new restaurant in Epcot’s America Pavilion. Epcot’s Liberty Inn closed its doors last summer so Disney could refurbish and rebrand the dining area. The America Pavilion’s new dining option is going to be Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Beers and Barbecue. Sam Eagle has entertained Muppets fans for years with his deadpan humor and for being their most patriotic Muppet character. To see more of a Muppets presence in the Disney Parks is delightful news!
The Regal Eagle Smokehouse will operate as a fast-casual restaurant and feature classic American barbecue. The new dining experience is also going to carry specialty craft beer. If the goal is to make this a classic American dining experience, then the inclusion of Sam Eagle makes perfect sense. The new restaurant will be the site of “Sam’s Centennial Cook-Off: A Salute to All Cook-Offs but Mostly Barbecue.” This theme will treat guests as if they are visiting a cook-off competition with a menu of various barbecue offerings. Furthermore, the Regal Eagle Smokehouse will also sell merchandise. Sam Eagle will be featured on some of their new merchandise, so it’ll be interesting to see what’s to come!
Originally, the Regal Eagle Smokehouse was scheduled to open in Winter 2019/2020. We don’t have an opening date yet, but we will follow up with more information when it becomes available.
Fans everywhere rejoiced on December 20th when the final film of the Star Wars saga debuted in theaters. The film grossed almost $17 million on New Years Day and passed $400 million total at the domestic box office recently.
“The Rise of Skywalker” was the final film in the most recent Star Wars Trilogy. The film followed “The Last Jedi” and “The Force Awakens”. Between the domestic numbers at over $400 million and the international numbers to match, the newest SW film is already over $800 million. It should have no trouble reaching $1 billion grossed when all is said and done. It might now, however, surpass its counterparts. “The Last Jedi” stands at $1.3 billion and the debut of the trilogy, “The Force Awakens” is at a whopping $2.1 billion total.
J.J. Abrams directed both the first and third movies in the sage. Critics and unpleased fans are claiming that the film was overcomplicated with too thick of a plot. In my opinion, I would’ve been disappointed if the film wasn’t chock-full of meaty Star Wars content and plots galore. It is the end of a 9-movie era after-all.
Disney Villains After Hours is returning to Magic Kingdom Park in 2020 and check out the amazing food goodies full of villainous eats and treats available! Jason Sudeikis’ Wikipedia Page Now Includes Punching “Baby Yoda” in ‘The Mandalorian‘. In one of the most iconic side character scenes to ever grace the screen for Star Wars Fans we learned to both love and hate the opening scene of The Mandalorian Episode 8: Redemption. The episode opens with the two stormtroopers reaching their rendezvous point with “The Asset” in hand… or bag I should say. The two quickly become bored when they are instructed to wait for Moff Gideon to finish dealing with “Mando” and his friends and begin arguing over “The Child” and also hilariously pull out their blasters and continue to miss a relatively close target to their speeder bikes. You know, because Stormtroopers can’t aim to literally save their lives.
Needless to say, the Internet may have been amused by the quarreling and games, that is, until they begin hitting “The Asset” for making noise, moving around, and biting one of the troopers on his finger when he bothered him. MANY fans are very upset with actors Jason Sideikis and Adam Pally who portrayed the duo in this scene, for “harming” The Internets collective favorite thing at the moment, “Baby Yoda.”
Some fans were so upset with the display they took to changing the SNL Alumni’s Wikipedia page and “forever” marking Sudeikis’ career with the cameo credit. In the ‘present’ portion of his career it now states: “In 2019, Sudeikis landed a short-lived role on Disney’s The Mandalorian as a Speeder Bike Trooper. His character quickly gained infamy in social media for repeatedly striking a fan-favorite character in the last episode of the series.”

Though the “outrage” is mostly fictitious, it seems The Internet will not be forgiving Jason any time soon for the actions of his character in the popular Star Wars Series on Disney+. The Mandalorian Season 2 is expected to premiere on Disney+ in Fall 2020 according to show runner, Jon Favreau.

A Tampa Bay man was arrested at 8 pm on New Year’s Eve for attempting to bring a loaded 9mm handgun to Disney Springs according to an arrest report. He was stopped by Orange Country Sheriff’s Officers in the Disney Springs Orange Parking Garage.
Hector Manuel Figueroa Medina, 43, of Lutz, Florida was charged with carrying a concealed firearm without a permit and trespassing, he was booked into the Orange County Jail.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office law-enforcement dogs are trained to sniff out guns, and Lutz had his tucked into his waistband covered by his shirt.
He was released Thursday after posting a $1,000 bond.
This is the 2nd incident of people attempting to get into the Disney World Parks & Resorts with a loaded handgun. The last incident occurred just last month when a man attempted to bring a loaded gun into the Animal Kingdom in his backpack.
Mary Poppins and Bert Take a Stroll With Fans Dressed as Mary Poppins in Disney World. The Ross Family recently visited Walt Disney World Resort for “a jolly holiday” and shared a heartwarming story about meeting their daughters, Demi and Tory, meeting their idol, Mary Poppins and her best friend Bert.
“My daughters just love Mary Poppins and we were headed to meet her when Bert pointed at my girls!” Ross wrote on Facebook.

Mary and Bert were so excited to meet with Demi and Tory, who were dressed in Mary’s Iconic White and Red Dress, for a stroll around the Magic Kingdom. They asked the girls if they would care to join in on their stroll to their meet and greet location and the girls graciously accepted.

During their walk, Mary demonstrated how to spell “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious”, and Bert shared how to say it backwards! Then Mary, Bert, and The Ross Family broke into song singing “Jolly Holiday” while skipping around The Hub in from of Cinderella’s Castle.
The girls mother can be heard off screen getting emotional during the interaction with bursts of happiness and sounds of getting choked up during the music, and rightfully so! We are sure Demi and Tory will never forget this interaction and it will be a cherished memory for the entire family for years to come.
