Two Brothers Spent 8-Years Recreating ‘Toy Story 3‘ With Real Life Toys. Young filmmakers and brothers, Morgan and Mason McGrew, have spent 8-years recreating one of their favorite movies, Toy Story 3. You read that right. 8. Years. Not only that, but Mason and Morgan did this as teenagers. I’ll let that sink in for a moment.
Using real life versions of the toys found in the film and some clever set designs, props, and casting, Mason and Morgan used a combination of live-action and claymation filmmaking to bring the characters and story to life.
Check out the amazing full-length featured film below:
The dedication and passion of Morgan and Mason is clearly shown and we see a bright future in filmmaking for these brothers, should they choose to try filmmaking as a career. What do you think of The McGrew’s Brothers work? Are you impressed with their project? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.

The Mickey graduation ears feature a blue grad cap, topped off with the iconic ears! The hat is embroidered with “Class of 2020” in golden thread. There is also a golden tassel, which really completes the grad cap look.
The back of the cap also laces up, which is great for adjusting to different sizes.
The grad Minnie ears are a classic Minnie headband style. They have black sequined ears, but instead of a bow, feature a MINI grad cap! This fun mini grad cap also has a long gold tassel. They are just too cute!
These are also dated with the year as well! Except the “Class of 2020” embroidery is actually on the side of the headband with this style.
The new Disney graduation ears retail for $27.99, and can be found throughout the Disney Parks at various locations.
Will you be celebrating the big day with these fun new Mickey And Minnie Graduation Ears?

One of the most iconic scenes from the classic Disney movie The Lion King is when Mufasa and Sarabi present baby Simba to the pride land. I can picture Rafiki walking up the creation rock, lifting baby Simba in the air for all the animals to get a glimpse of the future king. Are you singing the Circle of life yet? I know I am. Now you can recreate that scene in Disney’s Animal Kingdom park when you purchase your own Baby Simba Popcorn bucket. It has to be one of the cutest popcorn buckets to come out. Disney is stepping up their popcorn bucket game with their latest additions such as the Millenium Falcon one, and this adorable little cub.
Disney’s Simba Popcorn bucket is a sweet baby cub Simba dangling ready for someone to carry him around. The back opens up for you to store your popcorn in. It is hanging from a beautiful lanyard. So wear Simba with pride as you journey through Animal Kingdom on your adventure. This Simba popcorn bucket can be found at a couple of locations throughout the park. He has been seen hanging around in Africa of course at Mahindi. He has also been spotted at the Feeding Grounds in Discovery Island, Trek Snacks in Asia, as well as at Corn-ivores in Dino Land. Simba costs $16.99 (plus tax).
Grab him quick I’m sure he will be pouncing out of here before you know it! You might want to get him nice and full before heading home. Then you will have the perfect snack for the new Live-Action Lion King movie that just dropped on Disney Plus this week!
Stay connected with Chip and Co for all the latest popcorn buckets and must-have merchandise additions to the parks.

Disney+ is developing the next generation of the critically-acclaimed series “The Quest,” now featuring teen participants and adding more epic world building interactive elements. The streaming service has also greenlit the ultimate brainteaser competition series “The Maze,” National Geographic’s “Meet the Chimps” and an untitled docuseries that follows Pixar’s SparkShorts program as they discover talented new storytellers, it was announced today during a Disney+ panel at the Realscreen Summit in New Orleans.
“These projects will take people on epic adventures, immerse them in fantastical worlds and shine a light on extraordinary people and creatures, which are all important benchmarks of our Disney+ nonfiction content philosophy,” said Agnes Chu, senior vice president, Content, Disney+. “We are thrilled that we get to bring the groundbreaking ‘The Quest’ back to life, and can’t wait for people to discover ‘The Maze,’ our special subjects in ‘Meet the Chimps’ and the innovation and wonder of making Pixar’s Sparkshorts.”

The Quest
Filmed at a castle outside Vienna, Austria, “The Quest” is an innovative reality competition that takes place in the fantasy world of Everealm. Teen contestants will compete in an unfolding drama where they encounter mystical beings and magical encounters that rival their favorite books, games and movies. They will be embedded in a fully immersive, 360-degree world complete with seamless technology, creature design, practical effects and scripted characters who interact dynamically with them. The series is executive produced by Court Five’s Mark Ordesky (“The Lord of the Rings”) and Jane Fleming; Scout Productions’ David Collins, Michael Williams, Rob Eric (“Queer Eye”); and New Media Collective’s Bertram van Munster, Elise Doganieri and Mark Dziak (“The Amazing Race”).
The Maze
With a very unique take on adventure competition, “The Maze” brings five teams consisting of one adult and one teen relative on a journey of mind-bending proportions. Participants will solve riddles and decipher clues that will guide them through European cities and fairytale villages. In each episode, the characters will reveal information to participants pushing them onward and closer to their final destination where all contestants will convene, but only one team will solve the Maze. It is also executive produced by van Munster, Doganieri and Dziak.

Meet the Chimps
National Geographic’s “Meet the Chimps” takes viewers into the secret life of one of the largest and most unique wildlife sanctuaries in the world – Chimp Haven—a 200-acre refuge tucked deep in the forested heart of Louisiana, which is home to more than 300 chimpanzees. This six-part series tracks the ups and downs of this extraordinary group of chimps that are given a second chance at life by a staff whose dedication, compassion and commitment knows no bounds. Through a seamless blend of natural history and observational-documentary filmmaking, “Meet the Chimps” puts the chimps – the heart and soul of the series – at front and center. A real-life drama with a full emotional range, the series gives unparalleled access to everything happening at Chimp Haven, including food squabbles, alliances, romances, “bromances”, tears, tantrums, high jinx and heartbreaks. “Meet the Chimps” is produced by Blink Films (“Meet the Penguins,” Meet the Orangutans,” and “The Creative Brain”), with Justine Kershaw and Michael Welsh serving as executive producers, and Virginia Quinn as series director.
Untitled Pixar Series
The untitled Pixar series from Supper Club (“Chef’s Table”) will follow Pixar’s inventive SparkShorts program. By offering a select group of Pixar employees the opportunity to make their own animated short film, the SparkShorts program helps discover and support the next generation of Pixar storytellers. The series will give audiences an exclusive and immersive look at the filmmakers and their films, while exploring the creative philosophy and community that makes Pixar unique. Brian McGinn, Jason Sterman and David Gelb executive produce.
We can’t wait for these titles to premiere exclusively on Disney+ in the near future. What other projects and reboots are you excited for on Disney+? We would love to hear your thoughts in the comments! Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for all things Disney+.
Disney-Pixar Facing Lawsuit Over Claims of Plagiarism for the Van Design in ‘Onward‘. Artist, Sweet Cecily Daniher, filed a lawsuit on Monday in the United States District Court’s Northern District of California against the animation studio.
Daniher and her lawyers claim Pixar stole the design of her vehicle she calls the “Vanicorn.” Daniher claims Disney-Pixar rented her van for a “special event” in Sept 2018 and was shocked to learn an identical design was being used in the new Disney-Pixar movie, Onward, without her permission.
“Well, S#*T! The producer of “Onward” just called me. She wanted to know HOW I’M FEELING…(?!) and to apologize…. she also wanted to tell me that they rented my van without disclosing their full intentions, or plans, and she’s sorry for that too. [Disney] [Pixar] just tried to smooth things over with a phone call, instead of putting their art dept to work, or asking.”
According to the suit, Daniher is suing Disney-Pixar for damages of a monetary amount and is seeking an injunction that would stop Disney from “promoting, selling, marketing, advertising, shipping, transporting (directly or indirectly) or otherwise moving in domestic or foreign commerce, any and all of the Defendants’ advertisements, promotion and/or merchandising materials and/or products, and/or the motion picture entitled Onward and products which infringe upon Plaintiff’s copyrighted work.”
The lawsuit also calls for, “[T]hey have altered this Plaintiff’s highly personal and public transubstantiation of her lifelong artistic interest in unicorns into the Vanicorn (a uniquely San Franciscan work of public, mobile, automotive art, and a redemptive and validating act of recovery from toxic masculinity and a former marriage),” the suit complaint reads. “And which has, instead, been pilfered by the Defendants as a commercial and corporate conduit for the aspirations of a pair of blue boy elves looking for their father in a mass marketed Disney film, and was accomplished by the Defendants under wickedly misleading pretenses.”
