New AP Pandora Charm Available at Disneyland

There’s a new Pandora charm for Annual Passholders on the West Coast! Disneyland Annual Passholders can add this charm to their collection and show-off their style while visiting the Disney Parks.

This Pandora charm is double-sided to showcase its unique Disney Parks design. You’ll see Disneyland’s iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle with the silhouette of Mickey Mouse depicted on one side. The flip side features the trademark Disney Parks Annual Passholder logo.

The Disney AP charm is being sold for $85 and it’s eligible for Annual Passholder discount when you shop inside the parks. You can purchase the charm at two locations while at Disneyland Resort. You’ll find it at the Pandora store in Downtown Disney and also at Disneyland’s La Mascarade d’Orleans store, which is found in New Orleans Square.

Pandora Jewelry is also selling an AP charm at the Magic Kingdom in Florida. These charms serve as stylish accessories to wear on bracelets. They add a nice touch of Disney to those seeking fashionable accessories and jewelry.

Docking Bay 7 In Hollywood Studios Now Selling The Infamous Spork

Bright Suns! There is a semi-new souvenir over at Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios. The infamous metal spork is back at Docking Bay 7. Docking Bay 7 is Batuu’s quick-service restaurant located near Smuggler’s Run.

Unlike before though the metal space spork is now only available for purchase. Guests dining will get the regular plastic Disney silverware. The metal spork made its debut when Galaxy’s Edge first opened and was served with guests’ meals, unfortunately this didn’t last long because the sporks kept hitching a ride out of the galaxy.

If you do want to purchase one of the metal sporks with the travel bag they are $10.99 plus tax. The travel bag is canvas with some neat writing on the front. They are now available at Docking Bay 7 inside Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios.

Refreshing New Look for The Ghirardelli Soda Fountain at Disney Springs

Ghirardelli Soda Fountain Shop at Disney Springs recently underwent a refreshing facelift. It can get pretty packed in there and this new design is supposed to alleviate some of that traffic. The line now instead of two straight lines out the door are in a back and forth pattern to allow for more people to be in line and easier flow. You will instantly notice the large sundae and Ghirardelli Sign that brightly greats you at the door, with a painting of one of their store that is part of their long history starting back in 1852 in San Fransisco California. It also has the signature Ghirardelli sign above it.

Overhead there are nice new lighting fixtures updating the space. The line also has easy access to some favorite Ghirardelli chocolates. Once you order your ice cream and make your way over to the dining area, here you will notice the most change. The seating use to be many crammed small tables that you would try to finagle around and squeeze chairs around. I know I’ve had to have people get up just so I could get by them before how tight it was in there.

Now it’s clean and crisp. Two long tables that can sit around 10 people each in a communal style. Then all around the backside are counter height standing tables that wrap around the entire dining area that you can use to eat at. There is still the additional outside seating as well. Overall these updates make it fresh, bring it up to date and add better functionality of the space. It has a nice mix of metal and wood for a subtle industrial feel. Its a welcomed change.

Disney’s Ink and Paint Spirit Jersey Now At The Disney Parks

A fabulous new collection called Ink and Paint has slowly been popping up at the Disney Parks, and we have fallen in love! Now the Ink and Paint Spirit Jersey can be found at Disneyland, and also Walt Disney World! This fabulous collection features half painted sketches of classic Disney Characters.

The jersey is like a canvas, and has layers of designs featuring sketched characters. Many of the characters are highlighted with a brush swipe of color, that also brings them to life! Across the back in deep blue puffed ink reads Disneyland or Walt Disney World.

The front also features the initial logo for the chosen park as well. Fans of classic Disney and Disney animation will love the assortment of characters featured. Sorcerer Mickey, Mr. Toad, Pinocchio, Dumbo, and so many more classics can be found in this print!

This collection actually pays homage to Walt Disney’s “Nine Old Men”, other wise known as the famed Disney Masters of Animation. The famed nine were, Les Clark, Marc Davis, Ollie Johnston, Milt Kahl, Ward Kimball, Eric Larson, John Lounsbery, Wolfgang Reitherman, and Frank Thomas. These artists were core animators that helped to create some of Disney’s most famous animated cartoons!

The Ink and Paint Spirit Jersey retails for $69.99 and can be found at the main shops at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World! I know I definitely need one to match my new Ink and Paint Minnie ears!

New Details About Avengers Campus Coming to Disney California Adventure

The new Avengers Campus is set to open at Disney California Adventure this summer. This new “land” promises to wow guests with Spider-Man swinging across the sky, Captain America leaping from rooftops and Doctor Strange conjuring up magic spells.

“Avengers Campus really is going to blow people away,” Disney California Adventure vice president Patrick Finnegan said. Patrick also revealed new details about this Marvel-themed Avengers Campus.

Avengers Campus with open in phases. The first phase will open with a Spider-Man attraction, Doctor Strange show, Ant-Man and the Wasp restaurant and Marvel character rooftop stunt show. The second phase will open on an unannounced date with an Avengers E-ticket attraction.

A high-flying Spider-Man autonomous audio-animatronic stunt robot will swing by a web and perform midair acrobatic feats over Avengers Campus. “This thing is just going to be eyebrow-raising and visible from a lot of places,” Finnegan said.

There’s also a new Spider-Man attraction coming to Avengers Campus. Riders will use hand gestures to sling virtual webs from Web Slinger ride vehicles at spider-bots that have run amok. “Its next-level stuff,” Finnegan said. “It’s going to be really popular and really cool. It’s not height restricted, so it’s great for the entire family.”

There will be an outdoor stage show hosted by Doctor Strange. The show is expected to use special effects and projections to simulate his Sanctum Sanctorum. Doctor Strange will teach the audience how to harness energy from other dimensions, bend the laws of time and space, and unravel the mysteries of the multiverse. “He will engage with guests in ways that are very different from the ways our other characters do,” Finnegan said. “It’s going to allow us to tell some really cool stories in this land.”

The new land will have a new restaurant too! Pym Test Kitchen will be themed to Ant-Man and the Wasp and will serve food that has been shrunk or expanded in size. The foods will be resized using Pym Particles, the same technology used to shrink Ant-Man and the Wasp, according to the backstory for the restaurant. Red Pym Particles shrink items while blue ones expand them.

Finnegan recently took part in a tasting of the Pym Test Kitchen menu. “The food is amazing,” Finnegan said. “I can’t tell you what’s on the menu, but it advances the story.”

For the second phase of Avengers Campus, an Avengers E-ticket attraction will open. This attraction will be the first of its kind! “That is the next big one,” Finnegan said. “We haven’t announced timing or a whole lot of detail.”

The attraction will feature an all-new ride system with guests climbing aboard a Quinjet, flying to Wakanda and joining a team of Marvel superheroes in a battle against giant winged insects with razor-sharp teeth.

Avengers Campus will be an amazing area at Disney California Adventure park! Who else is super excited about this coming land?

New Monsters Inc Inspired Foods Coming to Disneyland

Pixar fans, take note! Some new Monsters Inc inspired foods are coming to the Disneyland Resort! These new treats are only available at Disneyland After Dark: Pixar Nite on March 5th.

If you will be at Disney California Adventure for that special after-hours event, be sure to try the new Chocolate and Coffee-flavored Sponge Cake, which is designed to look just like Sulley from Monsters, Inc!

Also available is the new Blueberry and Vanilla Shake, topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with Fruit Loops. Yum! I’m going to guess that these will be available to purchase at Schmoozies! but we’ll see if that’s correct.

Disneyland After Dark: Pixar Nite at Disney California Adventure park is a special, after-park hours event that will celebrate some of the world’s best-loved stories and characters from Pixar Animation Studios. There will be unique entertainment, special food, one-of-a-kind photo opportunities, collectible merchandise and more!

This special event takes place on March 5 from 8 pm to 12 am. Let’s take a look at some of the can’t-miss experiences:

Dance Parties

Dance the night away during a record-breaking Scare Day with best buds Mike and Sulley. Party with pals from “Monsters, Inc.” and “Monsters University,” all night long in Hollywood Land! For a retro-cool vibe, head to Paradise Gardens Park and show your moves at the Incredibles Party Zone.

“Super Looks” fashion walk

Come to Pixar Nite dressed in your best! Visionary designer Edna Mode will be the judge at this fashion walk, and everyone’s invited to show off their incredible attire.

Limited-time food

Guests can sample a Remy-approved menu of delightful sips and bites. Special Pixar-inspired menu offerings include a Blueberry and Vanilla Shake, and Chocolate and Coffee-flavored Sponge Cake. For savory cravings, try the Corn Dog Barbecued Pork Belly with Barbecue Sauce and Pineapple.

Photo opportunities

You can also step into playful photo backdrops featuring your favorite films and some classic Pixar shorts, including “For the Birds,” “Geri’s Game,” as well as other immersive locations! You’ll also receive unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the event.

Character encounters

It’s not a party without your favorite Pixar characters! You can visit with Buzz Lightyear and Woody from “Toy Story,” Merida from “Brave,” Miguel from “Coco,” Flik from “A Bug’s Life” and more!

Neon Marquee For Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway!

We are about to zip away in a zany adventure through a cartoon universe very soon!

We just keep getting closer and closer to the grand opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway on March 4th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. So Imagineers have been busy adding some final touches to the attraction like a new neon marquee!

The colorful new sign features the name of the attraction in bright neon colors and of course an animated Mickey and Minnie welcoming you to their cartoon universe.

The new marquee won’t be light up until the day of the grand opening but our friend Goofy was able to bring us a sneak peak of the new sign in action. Take a look:

So get ready to get immerse into a cartoon universe with the short “Perfect Picnic” and go on an epic adventure with Mickey and Minnie full of twists and turns on March 4th!

New “Croissant de Triomphe” Poster For Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway

The opening date of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway keeps getting closer!

But in the meantime we continue with the poster countdown, this time with “Croissant de Triomphe” that show us Mickey driving a scooter above Notre Dame.

In the short we can see Minnie working at a cafe in Paris and then suddenly running out of croissants! Oh no! But it’s ok because Mickey is on it’s way to save the day. We then see him on a fun adventure as he drives around Paris going through different landmarks and even playing a quick visit to Cinderella!

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway will officially open on March 4th at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

So get ready to experience an adventure full of surprises as you enter the cartoon universe with the short “Perfect Picnic” where anything can happen because mouse rules apply!

Sneak Peek of Pixar’s Onward now Showing in Disney World and Disneyland

If you are visiting the Disney parks over the next few weeks, you can get a sneak peek of Disney and Pixar’s original adventure, “Onward.” Scenes from the film are now showing in the Tomorrowland Theater at Disneyland park and as part of the Walt Disney Presents attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Guests cruising aboard Disney Cruise Line can also catch a special look at a part of the film, during select sailings in February and early March.

“Onward” is set in a suburban fantasy world and follows two teenage elf brothers-Ian & Barley-who embark on an extraordinary quest after being given the chance to spend one more day with their father. “Onward” releases to theaters on March 6th.

Operating Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios Have Been Extended

Park hours for the first two weeks of March have been extended at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The park will now open at 8 am March 1-14, 2020, which is an hour earlier than previously posted times. The hour change is most likely due to Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway opening on March 4th.
