If you’re a big Disney fan, then chances are you’ve gotten into collecting. Whether it’s Disney coffee mugs or limited edition pins, you can always find something that catches the eye of a Disney enthusiast. These colorful trinkets and souvenirs give character to our homes and allow us to showcase our Disney side. Today, we wanted to highlight the Disney Store Keys Collection.

The Disney Store Keys have been quite the charming collectible so far! They’re plastic and each one has a unique character design. These limited edition keys are available to shoppers who go to the Disney Store or online at the shopDisney website. Each key is released to celebrate a special Disney anniversary or event. They are limited edition, so you usually have to move fast on their release day before they run out. Of course, shoppers have to make a qualifying purchase so they can get the key.

These are some of the previously released Disney Store Keys. You’ll find each themed key to be quite different from the others. However, they all carry the distinguishable Disney “D” logo on the handle. Besides shoppers, even Disney Store Cast Members receive exclusive keys as special gifts every now and then.

‘Zootopia 2’ and ‘Zootopia 3’ Reportedly In The Works By Disney

‘Zootopia 2‘ and ‘Zootopia 3‘ Reportedly In The Works By Disney. Disney is hard at work developing a new land in Disneyland Shanghai themed around the popular animated film, Zootopia. Reportedly Walt Disney Animation Studios is also hard at work on two more sequels for the hit animated feature film.

Tommy “Tinny” Lister (Finnick) shared the news during a meet and greet with fans. Originally shared in a video that has since been taken down, Lister told fans, “I can tell you for sure I’m doing another Zootopia with Disney. We are doing three of them… We are the biggest film that Disney is producing. The last one was 240 million. This one I’m hearing will be 300 million. That’s what they spent on the budget, not the advertising. But the movie made 2.6 billion, with merchandising and the box office.”

With a new themed land opening soon in Disneyland Shanghai it makes sense that Disney would look to enrich the interest in the franchise by adding more stories for fans to love and want to be immersed into.

In December 2019 Shanghai Disney Resort President Joe Schott shared, “We are pleased to announce the start of main construction for the new land today, a significant milestone in its development. This expansion demonstrates Shanghai Disney Resort’s commitment to bringing new and unique experiences to our guests, offering more reasons for them to come visit us again and again.”

We can’t wait to see the new land open up in Disneyland Shanghai and are even more excited to hear two more films are on the way! Though no official premiere date has been announced, it appears that Zootopia 2 will be set to release in theaters sometime in 2021. Be sure to check back here at Chip and Co. for all things Disney!

Fun New Skyliner Windbreaker Breezes Into Walt Disney World

A fun new Disney windbreaker has swooped into the parks, and it celebrates the newest mode of Disney transportation. You guessed it, it’s a Skyliner Windbreaker! This colorful new windbreaker is now available at World of Disney at Disney Springs!

The body of the windbreaker has a beautiful sky blue color, and is also adorned with white fluffy clouds. I love the colorful stripes that stand out beneath the Skyliner logo. Especially because they slowly merge into the cables holding the soaring gondolas! The sleeves and hood of this windbreaker also offer fun color blocking. One sleeve is a bright yellow, another a deep blue, and the hood is a fabulous orange!

The stripes actually wrap around the back of the jacket, for a seamless look. This time the gondolas are on the top of the jacket though. Each gondola on the jacket is also based on a gondola you can see soaring overhead on the real Skyliner too!

The new Skyliner Windbreaker is available for $49.99, and comes in adult sizes. It’s the perfect pairing for a windy day with all of the other fun Skyliner apparel available! You can even pick up a Skyliner popcorn bucket, and carry it was your bag!

People Are Torn Over Harriet Tubman Visa Card Featuring “Wakanda Forever” Symbol

People Are Torn Over Harriet Tubman Visa Card Featuring “Wakanda Forever” Symbol. Twitter has been up in arms over a limited edition Visa card from OneUnited Bank. The limited release Visa meant to celebrate Black History Month features Harriet Tubman with her arms crossed in the “Wakanda Salute” from the popular Marvel Studios film ‘Black Panther‘.

Some folks find the card amusing, while others are calling for OneUnited to apologize for the controversial imagery. Calling it disrespectful and bewildered that the image was approved for production. One Twitter user captured a screenshot of OneUnited Bank’s tweet regarding the card saying, “Our limited-edition Harriet Tubman Visa Debit Card is a symbol of Black empowerment Don’t miss out! [Get the card] today!”

We love the traditional use of the ‘Wakanda Salute’ for Marvel fans to use as a connection to one another and their heritage, but this is not exactly what we had in mind to connecting to that kind of fellowship.

‘Hawkeye’ Series Back on Track To Begin Filming For Disney+ This Fall

‘Hawkeye’ Series Back on Track To Begin Filming For Disney+ This Fall. After a series of roadblocks, it appears the Hawkeye series coming to Disney+ is back on track, with minimal delays after issues with casting the role of Kate Bishop. Marvel Studios had reportedly been eyeing Hailee Steinfeld for the role, but it appears her current contract with AppleTV+ will prevent her from taking the role in the MCU.

Though no official announcement has been given, Marvel seems to have moved on in the casting process and has been hosting closed auditions for the role of Kate Bishop in the series. Hawkeye was set to begin filming in August 2020 before hitting the casting snags, but appears to be on track to begin filming in September 2020 instead.

Other Marvel series such as Moon Knight, She-Hulk, and Ms. Marvel are all set to begin production before the Hawkeye series, but it is currently unknown when they will premiere on Disney+.

Hawkeye is expected to premiere on Disney+ in Fall 2021.

Disney Channel’s ‘ZOMBIES 2‘ Stars Celebrate Movie Premiere With Visit To Walt Disney World. Disney Channel Original Movie Zombies 2 stars, Meg Donnelly and Milo Manheim celebrated the premiere of their new DCOM with a day trip to Walt Disney World Resort before the film’s debut on Disney Channel. The pair enjoyed a trip through New Fantasyland at The Magic Kingdom and a fun ride on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

“Zombies 2 picks up after Zed, zombie football player, and Addison, a human cheerleader, lead their perspective groups to unite Zombies and Cheerleaders. But now, there’s a new group of kids in town—a mysterious pack of werewolves— who disrupt Seabrook High. Create Your Own Sangria at Sangria University in Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Have you ever been interested in learning how to make your own Sangria? Well, now you can at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, at the Brand new Three Bridges Bar & Grill at Villa Del Lago. It could make the perfect date or be a great time with friends. These specialty classes are only offered on Saturdays and Sundays between 2:30-3:30 pm. I would advise you to make a reservation if you are interested in doing this. Sangria Sommeliers demonstrate how to make Sangria while giving you an overview and history of sangria table side.

The session costs $45 dollars per person and is kind of a neat package. You will get to create your own Sangria, with guidance from a private instructor. They provide you with all four of the house-made sangrias offered at Three Bridges. Part of the package includes an appetizer to share per couple. They even send you home with your own certificate and a recipe card so you can recreate your creation at home in case you forget.

Three Bridges is situated right in the middle of Lago Dorado in an open-aired seating Spanish-American Styled Restaurant. They boast great tapas-style appetizers, unique entrees and even the Sangria can be ordered by the pitcher here if you can’t resist getting more! This is all part of the newly renovated Coronado Springs Resort and New Grand Destino Tower. It is definitely worth checking out.

Joe Rohde Is Hosting A Multi-Day Earth Day 50th Anniversary Celebration At Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Imagineer Joe Rohde is one of many guests that will help to host a special multi-day celebration in honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

“From April 18-22, Disney’s Animal Kingdom will host special entertainment and activities throughout the park – culminating in an all-day extravaganza on Earth Day (April 22). Each day of festivities includes a stellar lineup of expert speakers and entertainment; behind-the-scenes tours; specialty food and beverage; limited-edition merchandise signings; character greetings; photo opportunities; special Wilderness Explorers activities for kids – and MORE!” Disney Parks shared.

“Walt Disney Imagineer Joe Rohde – one of the driving forces behind the past, present and future of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, will delight guests again this year with his Tiffins Talks featuring a spectacular four-course meal and lively discussion on Joe’s research trips and personal exhibitions from a life dedicated to exploration.” [Authors Note: Registration for this dining experience will begin February 18.]

“Throughout the week, in the Wild by Nature Speaker Series, Disney’s Animal Kingdom guests will get to hear from some of Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s animal experts, educators and conservation “Heroes” at the park’s Theater in the Wild – learning about the ways Disney’s own conservation experts are working to save the planet and its wildlife.

And if that weren’t big enough, Disney’s invited their new Disney colleagues at National Geographic to join in the fun. Nat Geo Explorers and Photographers will share their stories from the front lines of their explorations as well as wildlife photography and video techniques – showcasing what it takes to get all those stunning “never-before-seen” images and footage. The Explorers will join the outstanding roster of the Wild by Nature Speaker Series, and we will debut National Geographic merchandise at Disney Parks that week as well.

As part of the celebration, the Disney Conservation Fund will showcase 25 global wildlife heroes, many of whom will present Stories from the Field and recount incredible moments in their work – saving at-risk wildlife around the world – from elephants and rhinos in Africa, to tamarins and anteaters in South America. Many of these stories will be featured in “Disney Conservation Legacy,” a new special edition 25th anniversary book, available for purchase in the park during the Earth Day celebration.

At the Animation Experience at Conservation Station, guests will uncover the secret of how Disney animators bring Disney Fans favorite characters to life – using real life animals as inspiration; and there will be special Disney characters featured for the Earth Day Celebration!”

It’s A Small World Refurb Is Underway

It’s the happiest cruise that ever sailed!

It’s a small world has been part of Magic Kingdom park becoming a classic and a favorite between guests of all ages due to its timeless classic song and fantastic visual aesthetic.

Right now the attraction in under some partial refurbishment, so if you are visiting Magic Kingdom Park soon please be aware that the entrance of the attraction will be close.

But that doesn’t mean the ride is completely close. A temporary entrance was installed around the corner near the Tangled area.

So you can still enjoy a boat ride along the Seven Seaways Waterway through all seven continents!

It’s a small world will be back to it’s regular entrance this Spring.

Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Kid Activities You Don’t Want to Miss

Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival is right around the corner, and guests should be prepared for some fantastic events, displays, and food to experience. The fun isn’t all topiaires, even though visitors will not want to miss those; Disney has plenty of options geared towards children that will be fun for the whole family. It’s a great opportunity for kids to get excited about nature and the environment while enjoying Walt Disney World.

Guests can begin their journey through the festival with their choice of three new films at Epcot, or the tried-and-true collection of Pixar shorts. The new films are Canada Far and Wide in the Canada Pavilion, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along in the France Pavilion, and Awesome Planet inside the Land Pavilion. Kids of all ages will find something on screen to delight and inspire at the festival.

Spike’s Pollen Nation Exploration is a scavenger hunt taking place March 4th through June 1st. Scavengers are tasked with finding the best flowers across Epcot using a map available for purchase ($6.99 plus tax, AP discount applies) at the Port of Entry. Spike the bee is the mascot for this hunt through the World Showcase that will see kids returning their completed maps to the Port of Entry for a prize at the end. This is a great way to add some activity while mom and dad walk around the World Showcase looking for snacks. They’ll want to make sure they pick up a Flower and Garden Festival Passport, which has lots of options to please little palates listed inside as well.

If flower-hunting doesn’t sound interesting, guests may instead choose to embark on the Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt. Participating locations (Disney Traders, Pin Central, and World Traveler) will be selling maps for $6.99 plus tax (AP discount applies) to this Eastery adventure. From March 27th through April 12th, participants will use the map to hunt for hidden eggs featuring their favorite Disney characters. The completed map will earn a prize at Disney Traders.

Any parents of little ones will admit that a day at Walt Disney World can be trying, especially if it involves long lines and crowds. Kids will have two interactive play areas to run off some steam at this year’s Flower and Garden Festival. Bo Peep’s Playtime Training Grounds is located by Test Track, while the Play Full Garden Hosted by AdventHealth is on the Imagination Walkway. Both playgrounds offer parents the opportunity to sit and relax while their kids enjoy the outdoors and release some pent-up energy.

The Goodness Garden Butterfly House Presented by GoGo squeeZ is a can’t-miss activity at the festival every year. Guests will experience butterflies up close and personal, in all stages of development, in an enclosed space. A great learning experience for kids and adults alike, visitors will enjoy discovering the beauty of butterflies first-hand.

While at Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival, another great way to enjoy the park is by learning about the Disney Conservation Fund and the ways that Disney is working to preserve and protect the environment. The DCF logo is posted anywhere there’s an informative opportunity.

Spring is in the air at Epcot during the 2020 Flower and Garden Festival. From topiaires to delicious food, from scavenger hunts to live entertainment, this is one festival that can’t be missed! Attend between March 4th and June 1st this year.

Allure Bridals announced yesterday its first Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection, turning fairy tale dreams into reality for brides. The elegant collection includes 16 total styles in a variety of silhouettes and fabrications that capture the style and spirit of Disney Princess characters such as Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Tiana and Snow White. Allure Bridals will unveil the entire collection during New York Bridal Fashion Week in April 2020, and gowns will arrive in stores shortly thereafter.

The Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection includes nine fantasy gowns highlighting a wide variety of timeless bridal silhouettes. The initial release will include the gorgeous Tiana Platinum gown, which embodies both Tiana’s practicality and creativity in an elegant ballgown design covered in bayou-inspired shimmering vines and blossoms. The collection features extensive crystal beading, pearls and hand-embroidered appliques and delicate sparkle tulle. In addition, Kleinfeld will offer the complete Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection.
