Amber Heard Rumored to be “In Talks” with Disney for Live-Action ‘Tangled’ Remake. Disney Fans are not happy after hearing that Johnny Depp’s ex-wife Amber Heard has reportedly been in contact with Disney regarding the upcoming live-action Tangled remake.
The scoop comes from insider Daniel Richtman who shared that Amber Heard and her representatives have spoken to Disney regarding a role in the film. Likely eyeing the lead role as Rapunzel if we had to take a guess.
Heard and Depp are currently in several major legal battles in both the US and UK regarding accusations of abuse on both sides throughout their tremulous and toxic relationship. The accusations alone have caused a stir in the career of Depp, having been dropped by Disney in the role of Captain Jack Sparrow and Warner Bros. as Grindelwald in the Fantastic Beasts franchise.
Reportedly, Depp will be joining longtime friend and fellow filmmaker Tim Burton in one of his upcoming projects such as The Addams Family television series and/or Beetlejuice 2.
Needless to say, Johnny Depp is a Disney fan favorite actor with his iconic roles as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and as the Mad Hatter in the live-action Alice in Wonderland films, so the news that Amber Heard may be joining the cast of an upcoming Disney film is garnishing mixed reactions from fans online.

Seriously? Amber negotiated for documents from Disney for VA trial, then dragged them to court to demand everything they had just because she had new lawyers and demanded Disney be fined because they couldn’t include they word ALL. What company would hire someone who dragged them into court?

Disney better NOT cast her. I used to work in Disney World. I have Disney tattoos, art, globes, I had my wedding at the Wedding Pavilion and we stayed in the Grand Floridian and had the reception there.
I can not believe they would cast this bi*ch after she lied about Johnny Depp, whom they released immediately after news broke. Ends up as a huge lie and Heard is the abuser and to my knowledge, Disney hasn’t reached back out to apologize to Depp or to work out new movie deals. Disney let’s people go for discussing opinions, and for other things that they do not agree with. I dare you. I, along with pretty much everybody I know, will cancel every Disney subscription we have. I will never pay to see another Disney film. And I have Disney art, Disney tattoos, stuffed animals. The works. Honestly I’m so sad to hear about this the film industry is sick. Everyone looks towards Disney for QUALITY AND FAMILY FRIENDLY Entertainment Last I checked if someone Abuses someone and still can appear in kids movies it’s no longer family friendly. I think that if Disney & Warner Bros dropped Depp because of the ALLEGED abuse, but are still willing to work with Heard (even though she was the abuser) they have to have a serious look at what they are portraying to the masses. Johnny Depp was not considered for another Pirates of the Caribbean because they thought he abused her. Now that we know she is the abuser, why is she getting roles? I definitely will not be watching or letting my kids watch.

Agreeing with everyone else, disney needs to step back and rethink their decision. So many fans are against this horrible individual.
