Disney Store allowing fully vaccinated guests to go Mask Free!

Disney has recently started relaxing its mask policies at theme parks and now changes are happening at the Disney stores! Fully vaccinated guests no longer have to wear face masks in Disney stores.

Unless local mandates require face masks, the Disney stores now allow fully vaccinated guests to shop without a face mask. The Disney Store “Know Before You Go” website now says, “Appropriate face coverings required for everyone 2 years and older. Fully vaccinated Guests may shop without a face covering, unless required by local regulations.”

Over 60 Disney Stores will be closing across North America soon as the Walt Disney Company moves towards mostly online shopping with shopDisney.

Euphoria defined is as a feeling or state of intense excitement and happiness, moreover, it was apparently the name of Jimmy Buffets’ first boat. Now, Euphoria Fish House is the new signature restaurant at Margaritaville Resort Orlando. We have not tried the food yet. Since sight is part of the food sense, it looks delicious or maybe even Euphoric!

Margaritaville Resort Orlando, Central Florida’s island-inspired resort, is proud to announce that Euphoria, named for Jimmy Buffett’s first boat, has been reimagined into the Euphoria Fish House. The new restaurant theme includes a curated menu by Executive Chef Joseph McFadden with an emphasis on fresh seafood and twists on traditional dishes.

“At Margaritaville Resort Orlando, our culinary program has and will always be about creativity, quality service, and the guest experience. As we welcome Chef Joseph McFadden to lead culinary operations at the resort, we have modernized our signature restaurant,” said Resort President, Jim Vespa. “Euphoria Fish House showcases seafood cuisine inspired by the islands and celebrating coastal communities. New Loki Merchandise and Food coming to Avengers Campus

The new Loki series is now airing its first episode on Disney+ streaming service! Many Marvel fans are eager to see what adventures unfold for the god of mischief. In the meantime, Disney Parks is now launching new merchandise to celebrate the arrival of the Marvel series!

Disneyland Resort guests will notice some changes. For instance,there are some new interstellar relics that the Collector has added to his unique collection near Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! Plus, Loki is now appearing on Avengers Campus wearing his Time Variance Authority prisoner outfit.

We have been waiting for the new Space 220 restaurant in Epcot to finally open. Now, we have an idea for when it will be opening!

According to Scott Gustin on Twitter, Patina Restaurant Group says Space 220 will open this fall. We are very hopeful the restaurant will stick to that schedule.

Outdoor Splash Pads Return to Operation in Epcot

A hot day at Epcot has been a bit hotter these last few months. Families who used to bring their children to various play areas have had to revise their plans since they’ve been closed due to new health and safety protocols. Thankfully, lots of areas around Walt Disney World are reopening just in time for summer! One Epcot playground recently reopened, but something even better is coming back now: the splash pads!

Outdoor Splash Pads Return to Operation in Epcot

For those who don’t know, an outdoor splash pad is located in Epcot’s Future World East near Test Track and Mission: Space. It’s a small area, but don’t let it fool you. You’ll get soaked just standing nearby! Try to make sure you have swimsuits for your kids and don’t be afraid to take off your shoes while you wait. Either way, kids love this play area and it’s a great way for them to cool off and get some energy out. Note from a mom: swimsuits aren’t essential, but time out of the stroller sure is!

The splash pads and playgrounds around Walt Disney World remained closed after parks reopened in 2020. In the last few months, the CDC has released several statements that have allowed Disney to review its health and safety standards. Mask policies and social distancing have been revised. Attractions are resembling their former selves again. And those awesome splash pads are coming back!

Chicken Guy! Coming to Winter Park in Late Summer 2021

Great news for those who love celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s chicken restaurant franchise! His Chicken Guy franchise is opening a new location in Winter Park, Florida!

The exciting new venue will be the first corporate-owned free-standing location with a drive-thru component. It helps make the iconic menu more accessible to Orlando locals and visitors alike. Florida residents are already familiar with the other locations at Disney Springs and at Aventura Mall in Miami, FL. The fast-casual chain serves delicious, succulent chicken tenders paired with 22-signature sauces to please all palates. This location will feature interior seating for 80 guests indoors and seating for 12 outdoors. Also, the spacious 3,500 square-foot restaurant will have a sliding glass door of windows, a unique design element that will easily provide plenty of natural light or an open-air dining experience on a nice day. Refreshing Princess Pearls Punch To Have This Summer!

Looking for a new and refreshing way to eat some fruit? What about with a Princess Pearls Punch!

This delicious drink recipe from Dole, it’s the perfect way to get your fruit fix this summer. Inspired by The Little Mermaid in honor of World Oceans Day, this recipe is super easy to make and everyone in your family will love it!

PRINCESS PEARLS PUNCH

INGREDIENTS:

1 3/4 cups of chilled 100% white grape juice
1/2 cup of chopped Dole mango
1/2 cup of chopped Dole pineapple
1/2 cup of Dole blueberries
1/3 cup of large pearl tapioca
4 extra wide straws
Fresh mint for garnish (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Stir 1 1/2 cups juice, mango, pineapple and blueberries in a pitcher; cover and refrigerate 1 hour or up to 2 hours. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
Bring 8 cups of water to a boil in a large saucepot over high heat; add tapioca. Reduce heat to medium-high and boil 30 minutes or until tapioca is translucent, stirring occasionally; drain. Stir tapioca and remaining 1/4 cup of juice in a medium bowl; cool 5 minutes. Makes about 1/2 cup.
Divide tapioca mixture into 4(10 oz) glasses; pour juice mixture over tapioca. Place 1 straw in each glass; garnish with mint, if desired.

Loki in Prisoner Outfit Coming to Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park

Today the new Loki series premiered on Disney+ and with that, Disney previewed a new look to the Loki character at the new Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park.

The new look is part of Loki’s Time Variance Authority prisoner outfit. Loki‘s teaser trailer for the Disney+ series reveals the God of Mischief wearing prison clothes, and it suggests he’s been caught by the multiverse police. As you can tell from the Disney Parks TikTok, it seems the transition will follow him into real life at Avengers Campus in Disney California Adventure Campus.

Dick Van Dyke Receives Kennedy Center Honors

Disney Legend Dick Van Dyke has received the Kennedy Center Honors and his reaction was priceless. His Mary Poppins co-star and lifelong friend Julie Andrews was featured in a special introduction for Dick Van Dyke for the event. Andrews shared that Dick is, “endlessly kind, wildly imaginative, insanely talented and hilariously funny.” Julie made sure to add, “Every day is ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious’ with you, Dick.”

After receiving his honors, Dick Van Dyke shared, “All those numbers reminded me of how much fun I had over the years. I wasn’t working for a living – they were paying me to play!“

The 95-year old has had a wildly successful career which began in radio hosting. Dick then moved on to stage performing on Broadway and later moved on to television and film. There is no denying Dick Van Dyke has stolen the show with every appearance. Some of his most iconic works include The Music Man, Mary Poppins, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Night at the Museum, Diagnosis Murder, Mary Poppins Returns, and his many cameo appearances over the years in dozens of television shows.
